Look for JMZ Powersaver Disabler in the Play Store

Recommended

HTC One M7 Black

MoDaCo Toolkit for Xposed is the best option IMO, simply because of the other Mods bundled with it.

[Q] how to Force notifications in expanded form ?

Hi
One of the quirks that I have with my new HTC one is that notifications always come in short form and I have to use 2 finger swipe to expand it.
AFAIR on my Galaxy S2, if new mail comes the gmail notification was in expanded form and I can easily archive or reply the mail.
Is there any way to force notification always to show up in expanded form
Regards
My one comes today. That sort of defeats the purpose, no? Darn htc.
yup thats sad
hope to get a solution soon

It's because only the top notification is expanded by default in jb. Power saver is in your way and not likely ever to change. I'm running viper rom and it can be disabled in viper controls. Works fine. See if manage apps has power saver listed. You might be able to disable notifications for it there.

wonder if its possible a dev could make a mod to always show all notifications expanded!... would make replying and using actions much faster

I doubt it. That's just how jb works. It would get pretty cluttered. I mean it might be possible idk. But I've never seen such a thing. I highly recommend viper Rom. It's smooth as heck and you won't miss anything from stock. I'm running it with tl's wolfpack kernel at 2ghz with sweep2wake and logo2menu (makes htc logo into menu button). Only thing is the latest viper is on the new base from htc as of last night so custom kernels won't work right until source its released so they can be updated. I'm waiting for that before I update viper. I'm sure you can dl the older version if you wanted to run a custom kernel. It's 1.0.4

I'd just like to be able to expand them with one finger. I wonder why HTC messed with that. Hopefully that gets fixed when 4.2 comes.

Interesting. If you read the news of jb's release it says 2 fingers. I have to use two in aosp roms on my evo lte as well.

Any jb Rom. The power saver notification is what prevents it because it's first. Viper allows you to disable it. If you don't have it at the top of your notifications, do you have a quick settings type app or any other notification pinned to the top?

Screen Brightness

For some reason it is like my phone is stuck with auto brightness on even tho it is off. I had 3 HTC Ones next to each other. My phone was more dim out of all of them.
Any way to edit build.prop or something to fix this?
I also looked for an answer didn't see anything.
I'm on the newest viperRom, stock kernel.
Thanks!

?+1 to this. Power saver has a dim screen option, so while autobrightness may be turned off, it will be dimmer.

[App] Soft Buttons Lights always on!

New here in the HTC one area so please forgive me if this topic was already covered. Being new to the HTC phone I wasn't liking the soft button lights turning off during the day light so this app basically keeps button backlight always on, as long as the screen is on.
Confirmed working with HTC one. KiNDA

UPDATE: The soft lights turn off on occasion and I have to toggle the power button to turn the light back on. Bug I guess but quick minor temp fix by hitting the button
UPDATE 7-/4/13: According to solid.snake (see quote below), Capacitive Buttons Brightness Works well

It allow to keep the keypad backlight on as long as the screen is on, or it can simply switch the keypad backlight off.

Reopening the app and unchecking the option isn't doing it for you? That would be my guess based on the screenshots.
Otherwise, I'd echo bigdaddy619: push your /system at the least to restore the modified file.

Gravity box causing issues!!

I just updated gravity box and when I tried to take a screenshot my phone reboots. If I try to change the quick tiles my system ui crashes.
Anyone else notice this and is there a fix??

I have the same issue with the screenshot. I ended up using another module. Adv power menu. My quick tiles work fine.
Thanks I added that module. I was looking for one that would add screenshot in the quick tiles.
Any of the other modules have that working with our phone??

You can take screen shots by pressing power and volume down. Much easier imo than adding a mod for it.
