Just got Data working. Had to add in an APN although that was slightly buggy as it would not save until my second try.
Everything is working now and I will post after using it longer than a few hours.

It's not a suggestion; It's a confirmed fix because the phone doesn't call LTE automatically on boot it needs to be enabled; sometimes you'll lose LTE and the icon will revert to 3G but when LTE is in place it will say 4G.
Are you using CWM or TWRP?

Nice build can't wait for your next build hopefully the lag will be gone

Does anyone else have this issue? does it appear in your CM10.1? need more feedback to know if its an isolated thing or not

Seems to work great other than the lag. Performance is terrible. But take that as constructive criticism lol. Ive been waiting on the edge of my recovery for this release since you announced it. Great work!

ok i think i find a fix for status bar..i set a lot parameters and somehow status bar doesn't crash for now..i first fix permissions in rom manager, after that i set cpu speed to PERFORMANCE and both speeds to 1008MHz and enable set cpu on boot, after that i installed pimp my rom and install init.d first, after that i set multitasking to high ( both OOM grouping and Minfree) and zRam to 128MB, enable Hardware acc, enable force gpu rendering, enable surface dithering, disable kernel JNI error checking, disable android logger, enable Lock Launcher Memory ( i think that this solved problem with status bar), enable AMR wideband, enable bot Internal and External I/O Tweaks, enable Battery Saving, enable Camera Tweaks, enable JPEG image quality, enable Quick Power-ON..after that i restart my phone and for now i dont have problem with status bar crashing...

from last night i didn't have any problems at all with the build,not even the status bar,or other little bugs, the biggest is the panoramic camera and the proximity center.. any ideas how to enable proximity sensor?

Its weird,but this is what i did when status bar hanged. I download theme for cm10,when status bar error, i switched to other theme. And status bar will show up again

is the app which disappears a user app or a system app because maybe it's because it's scanning sdcard and it's not a system app...

For internal storage u can download remound sd. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1734826 . In the interne directory you will wright /mnt/sdcard . in External /mnt/sdcard/external_sd . and in target external /mnt/sdcard . Tgen u will tap execute remount and after u will reboot, Now u will have 2,7 plus (your sd amount) as internal storage, in my case 2.7+ 16. We dont have move2sd option but this is far better, ( sorry for my english)..

Q: Patch Apps?
A: They're MIUI APKs built with Patchrom for use with this device specifically for a smoother and more efficient experience
Q: How do I Install?
A: Extract the APKs to a folder on your SD card and install them via the Package Manager manually, one at a time.
Expect FCs during this, but after a reboot everything will be perfectly stable!
Q: Do I have to do this for the Rom to work?
A: No, but It's suggested because It makes for a smoother and 'better' experience, It's best to be as close to native as possible.

Misc.Notes
-If flashed in TWRP the rom will ask to install SuperSU, do not Install SuperSU as MIUI has it's own root management application.
-Airplane mode works, but will restart all applications running on the phone, turning it back off does not do this.
-The Sim Card pop-up is inherent to this version, It is cosmetic and does not actually do anything.

v5 Final Build Notes
This Rom will boot & work on the Atrix HD and It's suggested (though not needed) that you replace the kernel with a more updated version if available for your device, Operator error has nothing to do with me.

It's average in comparison with CM10 and so on, It's good if you consider that MIUIv5 has as much going on as iOS in terms of it's motion, how it moves and feels and so on; the hit to battery life won't be huge but you will not experience gains in battery life with a rom like this either

Yes

Ok status report. Flashed perfectly and everything worked great until 20 minutes ago. The back key stayed stuck on the down arrow when exiting the keyboard. I restarted to fix it and it brought me to the sim unlock code screen so I had to boot into fastboot and then recovery to wipe cache which fixed the problem. Btw dont mess around with the performance it causes lag if you choose powersave cpu with noop scheduler.

fully wipe and install the rom, boot it up and do its initial setup then install gapps, and make sure the gapps you're using is right

Which Gapps do you recommend and could you possibly post a link?

I guess It's worth nothing that the SIII settings actually in some cases do things, my suggestion is to not mess around with them if possible.
You'll have to find a different weather provider, I try to get this working though I know people love it, but MIUIchina doesn't support the US so both weather widgets are not working

Awesome Rom only problem I have is Google play services says it has a conflict with something on my SD card and won't install.

Yes it does have some bugs but afterwards its fast and decent battery life.
Here is how I made MiuiV5 the best i can be.
Important things
1st I installed the Google Play store app.
2nd I used Root Uninstaller to uninstall sim toolkit app because it kept poping up making phone unusable. All I uninstall a couple of other feature I though were annoying. Be careful I recommend diabling things first and see how your phone works then uninstall if you are FULLY CONFIDENT THAT IT WONT MESS UP YOUR Phone.
3rd I uninstalled the gallery and both camera and installed The 4.2 camera and gallery pack.
4th Because Miui doesn't support sdcard in camera app I used FolderMount to link the DCIM on internal to DCIM on my external and You can do it with more folders although only 3 link are supported on free version.
5th and finally If your WiFi misses up install a root explorer or something similar and will not connect then turn off WiFi and go to root/data/misc/dhcp and delete dhcpcd-wilan0 lease. Then your WiFi will start working again. You will have to do this every time you wipe cache and dalvik.
Extra stuff
Installed Musicfx as there is no equalizer
installed Flashplayer with firefoxbeta
installed Setcpu setup profiles to add battery life
Installed pimp my ROM make the ROM faster and improve battery life

Yes, It's being worked on now.
If you folks could tell me what kernels you generally prefer I can mod them for use with this rom so people have more options, The next revision of this will see a bump in stability and speed in general

4th Because Miui doesn't support sdcard in camera app I used FolderMount to link the DCIM on internal to DCIM on my external and You can do it with more folders although only 3 link are supported on free version.
5th and finally If your WiFi misses up install a root explorer or something similar and will not connect then turn off WiFi and go to root/data/misc/dhcp and delete dhcpcd-wilan0 lease. Then your WiFi will start working again. You will have to do this every time you wipe cache and dalvik.

Installed Musicfx as there is no equalizer
installed Flashplayer with firefoxbeta
installed Setcpu setup profiles to add battery life
Installed pimp my ROM make the ROM faster and improve battery life

Did the SIMtoolkit removal. No more issues. Typical couple reboots to stabilize it. Everything else didn't really need. WiFi works fine for me. Thanks for the tip.

1.airplane mode make the phone reset.
2.the speaker volume is lower than normal
3.the weather app can't work\

The biggest issue here is that this rom uses the 926s base but does not have the same resolution as the 926, so layouts are not rendering the correct way, It's inevitable that I will need a new 'base rom' for this device, I'm working on it

I miss MIUI. I sure hope this project takes off and gets solid enough for a daily driver. Thank you for your work on this!

Running through a few tests for ya. looking into different bases for some of the issues. Im still running it as a DD so running and working with bugs. Gonna see if I can streamline them for ya.

General Notes:
- Root can be enabled in development settings --> root access --> set it to Apps and Adb. if it doesn't work, set it to sething else and then set it back to Apps and Adb
- Google has now selinux build in. Users who will flash another kernel which does not match googles selinux (eg the kernels have cm's selinux or not selinux at all) will lose root!!!!! Only way then to get root back is to flash either superSu from chainfire or superuser from koush as standalone package.
- Please flash only 4.3 gapps. All other will end in keyboard fc, no back button etc etc

I'm using the alpha 4.3 and having a strange issue. Every time I receive a voicemail, I am also getting a text message as well as the voicemail indicator. This never occurred using 4.2.
Any idea how to shut this off. Other then that slim 4.3 was great.

AOSP keyboard is always Force Closing. Wiped everything before flashing.
I cannot setup the WiFi neither setup a google account.

Someone else with this issue!
Downloading the new build (from yesterday), will install it when I get home from work and report back.
Update: It's quiet atm here at work, so I went ahead and flashed it Wiped data, cache and dalvik, AOSP keyboard still crashing like mad.

no crashes for me ........ works like charm ..... btw i m on stock kernel .... the downside is the battery isnt as good as 4.2.2 or else this is stable as hell !! waiting for weeklies !!

Go settings -> accessibility and activate it there as usual then go settings -> security and enable it in notifications listening service thingy and then it should work.

Look at the 'permissions' icon in the security app, turn on the root switch.
The thing is the chinese apps are part of the rom, they're not .apks you can just delete and expect things to function well, It is a chinese firmware localized for english users

It'll be fixed in the next version-up.
If you notice when opening a folder or using the task manager everything in the background goes black; It's not supposed to be like that, I only released this as a preview for folks who have never used MIUI and it is technically stable with 2-3 minor annoyances

Working well on my XT905 using the GSM patch
Few things I had to do
install GAPPS for JB
Install Google Contact Sync Adapter
Set Disable HW overlay in developer options to get silky smooth scrolling.
Really working well, not sure on battery life just yet. thanks mate.

I don't think it can see external SD, I'm not sure why; I updated the OP with a Blur and maybe SD fixed version

I am on the 12/25 & no navi buttons but for only the menu button on the left.
NVM it fixed on 1st screen out.

Does anyone Know how to get a SD swap on this Great Rom?
