i had done that ... start scan slow at 1194mb and end stop scan at 4580mb... and i straight away flash ""N7000_16GB_Q1_20110914--patched--brick-between-01174-and-04664-MB--DATAFS-moved-by-03328-MiB"" by odin... is that correct?

i had done it... so my phone still bricked or ?

Looks right. Did you flash a rom along with that? Or just the PIT

first i was used Scan start to end: it slowdown at 1107mb ,Scan end to start :it stopped at 4580mb and i flash N7000_16GB_Q1_20110914--patched--brick-between-00281-and-04844-MB--FACTORYFS-moved-by-04352-MiB and stock rom ... it doesnt stop at factoryfs ...
so it mean my phone fully recover or ?

It will never fully recovery but if you flash a gb rom then the phone might startup.
After using the repartition method, the phone might not be able to handle JB.

[Flashing] I f***** up, help needed.

Zup,
I rooted a while ago, and since i'm running Ubuntu i haven't managed to get CWM yet, so i noticed that i can use Odin Mobile Pro to do it so i installed it and downloaded the correct kernel. I opened OMP and browsed to find the kernel on the internal memory but i can't choose it (it's a .RAR-file), so i extract it to see what's hidden inside. According to Odin i can flash "zImage" so i do it. Big big mistake.
The phone won't boot now, and the only thing i get is the "Samsung Galaxy Note GT-N7000.
What to do?
Thanks in advance
I can enter Download mode, and that's it. Some help here please?
Use pc odin and flash a stock rom. You must be in download mode

Thanks.
Where can i find a stock ROM? And do i need ADB installed or is it OK with the drivers from Kies? I'm asking since i'm using Ubuntu so i'll have to use my brothers PC, so i can't install a freaking SDK.
Got a stock ROM now, downloaded the ADB files and Odin, so i'll see if that works..
You should just try to read a little more
Kies drivers should be fine. Go to the development forum and you will find stock roms thread.

Awesome. Downloading XXLA4 now, but it takes forever... 100KB/sek.. Horrible servers.. FML
Still downloading the ROM.. WHY in the sweet hell haven't anybody made a torrent or uploaded it to another place? 2 hours to download 550MB on a 20 Mbps connection is tragic..
Update: OK, i'm up and running again! Odin worked like a dream without any problems Thank you so much Indie!
(I don't have any "Thanks" left today, so i can't thank you again)

you said downloading LA4.
Just make clear, LA4 wont Root directly, n looking to sequence, you are going to flash it with PC Odin. If i m correct
Just Downgrade to old version, get it Rooted, then update to LA4

i had the exact same thing after flashing LA4 and had to use odin to flash an older rom to get it booting to then get root access and restore a backup

Yeah, i noticed this when i had downloaded 300MB of LA4, so i didn't bother to stop it and select a rootable ROM I just wanted to get my Note working again. But i'm already missing root like crazy, so i think i'm gonna downgrade and root it again very soon.
Edit: Wait a minute.. I was rooted, i messed the phone up, flashed LA4, booted up the phone, nothing got wiped but i lost root.
ya it is nonwipe version so even with PC Odin, you won't lose anything BUT just ROOT
Aha!
But if i choose to flash another ROM with PC Odin, will i get the triangle at boot? Do i only get the triangle when i flash unofficial ROMs like CM9?
I'm a little unclear on these parts.
Sent from my iPad GT-N7000 using xda premium
No it won't give you triangle if you flash any stock ROM. It gives only when you flash custom(yes like rocket/CM9)

So that's a workaround that will repartition your chip, means you will lose some space on internal SD.
Can you let us know how much space you lost? Its usually around 3 to 4gb, but have seen as high as 5.
Sent from my GT-N7000 using xda premium
It is possible to try and regain some of that lost space, but its very time consuming, There is also a way you can swap the memory around, So your external SD will become internal and vice versa, Pretty neat if you have a 16gb+ external sd.
Although with the brickbug bug, Id much rather keep all my precious stuff on my external sd just incase.
See this link - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=28057775
i lost about 3-4gb...not a deal breaker since it has external sd...im happy...she is running...again..

This point to the case of superbrick mate. It has caused damage to your system and maybe also data partition. If you have warranty try to seek help from service center where they will replace mobo. Otherwise only repartition can help revive your phone. Follow the link from dr.ketan tool box in his signature to the guide for revive superbrick note cause by emmc bug. Hope you can make it. Cheers.

[Q] P1000 Write error in Odin when attepting to install Overcome rom

Hi XDA Members. I am a self proclaimed Samsung noob with a 7 in. Galaxy Tab SGH-T849. After searching the forums,I was instructed to refer to this model as the p1000. The tab was given to me by my sister after my know it all nephew tried to "fix" it,so I thought I would give it a shot. I can't get into it to provide detailed info from the settings menu because it won't boot past the Samsung boot animation. After reading numerous posts,I downloaded the Overcome files and attempted to install it. I am getting a write error in Odin near the end of the flash and I have no idea what I have done wrong.I even downloaded the guide to make sure I flashed it properly. I included a pic of the Odin error and a pic of the system recovery screen on the tablet.I continued to research the Q&A,but I did not want to take the chance of messing the tab up further. Any help that can be provided would be greatly appreciated.

Anyway it looks like your Internal SD card is damaged.

I would suggest following the instructions to the letter from start to finish unless of course you want your soft brick to become a hard brick....

Yes i agree, ALL the steps......if you bricked it then you should take the time to fix it now that we are able to do so.
