[Q] Phone doesn't boot anymore

Hello,
My phone doesn't boot anymore, i also cant access the recovery or the download menu. The last thing I did was to install the JP1 stock ROM so I could flash to the MIUI ROM. When I press the power button you see the start screen with Samsung Galaxy S GT9000I blabla. Then u see the stock bootanimation, and it just stays there. Now and then it vibrates and after a while it's just a black screen. Now I can still charge my phone. Does anyone knows what to do with this problem?
Do I need one of them Jig thiny things?

If you can't access to download mode, use adb to go there
Search for tutorial.

Ok I downloaded and installed it. I used a tut ( i cant post links yet ) but it says that I go into my device and change some settings. But my phone doesn't boot. So how to do that?

Can anyone help me please? I'm really stuck at this problem.

Same problem here! I also wanted to install MIUI and flashed JP1 before. Now I neither can't boot the phone nor go into download mode.
Please help!

What to do
- Take of the back case of your SGS, in between the camera and the speaker, you will see a little circular hole...
- Take a pin/pen and poke it...
- Hold the hole pressed in and press the 3 button combo for download/recovery mode (two person required for this operation)
It should go into download mode and from there you can flash on a fresh stock firmware!
Hope this helps you to recover your phone, let us know if you are able to recover or not.

I managed to get into download mode and tried flashing a stock rom with odin. When it passed it rebooted and then my old problem kicked in.
Screen hanging at the S logo and 3 combo key doesn't works anymore.

Try with EZrom, worked for me
Also did a wipe data/cache etc

Have i permanently bricked my Phone ? Please Help Needed

I just restored my phone to stock rom using rom manager.. After rebooting the phone just keeps on blinking like every two seconds with the LG symbol. Is there any solution to fix this ? Please help..

can you get to "recovery mode" ?
pull out battery, does it still do it when turned on again?
i had this when i used (Rom Manager) to restart my fone into recovery once, it doesnt correctly follow instruction some times.. however manual CWM usually works.

which ROM you were in before?EXT3 or EXT4?
if you gone back to Stock, u used a smartflash method?did u do the three wipes?switch off the phone, then hold vol down + power key button until you get the second greyish LG logo and then choose wipe data/cache and dalvik (to make a fresh an clean flashing)and reflash the stock ROM...it should be fine then.

from reading the log (as it quickly fly's up the screen) you will see it does this automatically

try nvflash and try to update your recovery.. if your using cwm recovery use 5.0.2

hey, ok so now i dont know how to start but i will just say that i rooted my phone and i get to enter the Xrecovery. after that i tried to install custom rom and it installed well. then i turned of the phone and its just stuck on the white SE word. it gave me vibrate and its just stopped on SE!!!!! i left it for 3 min like that and its still!!!!! i cant get into recovery again and i cant do anything in the phone more than taking out the battery and putting it back again then power it on again and do that over and over ( because it doesnt pass the SE word)
HEEEEEEEEELLLLLLLLLLLLLLPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPP
any help pls??

You have soft bricked your phone. Use PC companion/ SE update service to reinstall stock 2.1

u got two options :-
1) flash .ftf files using flashtool!
2) use wotan client !

HI guys, please i need you help,
i've tried to upgrade my samsung galaxy s i9000 using a tutorial breezie.be
now my phone stopped booting , i click the power button and nothing happen.
Please is there a way to fix that?

Wow so much information...
tried to boot into CWM already?
could it be that you broke your hardware button?
maybe your rom broke down...
please more information!!!

as i told you nothing happen when i click the power button (so i can't boot into CWM either)
also the phone is not charging (using the charger or the pc)
Yes i think my rom broke down... (any solution for that)
this hapend when i tried to upgrade to CF-Root-XX_OXA_JW4-v4.4-CWM3RFS using the Odin3-v1.85
it showed me fineshed but it the deviced din't reboot so i clicked the power botton to power it off than couldn't turn it on again.

Can`t start my I9001

So I tried installing clock work recovery with odin.
It always worked but now I don`t know what happened but my phone won`t start anymore.
I only get a screen of a phone and a computer with in the middle a ! sign.
What do I need to do ?

Can you enter download mode? If so simply use ODIN again.

Already fixed it but now I ave another problem I can`t get out of clockworkmod I`m stuck.
Anyone know how to fix this?
