Use go Locker from google play used that with both sweep and patern or pin.

swipe up from home bar and it s shortcut for Google Now

Stock ROM you can't.

Do you have knock code enabled as your lock screen security? If so, knock on doesn't work with that enabled

Thanks that worked like a charm,i used the hidden dialer menu to update touch firmware now it works
