Okay sooooo i made a huge noob mistake and deleted my backup of my sense 5 stock rom. (/facepalm)
I have only had my HTC ONE for a few days now and have some major issues with the sensor's/microphone/screen flush with casing.
It came preloaded with hboot 1.54 and 4.2.2 so I have been unable to s-off
I've been back to the store i bought it from and they will not accept it back until it is running stock Sence with an O2 Bootscreen at bare minimum.
I think this is more to satisfy the manager of the store(to cover his own ass cause he is clueless) rather than where the device will be sent to but never the less that is what ive been told i need to exchange the phone directly.
My second issue on top of loosing my backup is that I need to have this done by Tuesday 10th next week or it will have to go in for warranty repair not direct exchange.
Any one able to help me out with a clean O2 UK Nandroid at all?
Really not sure what else i can do at this stage as i cannot find an O2 RUU and my device came stock with 1.54hboot so i have no s-off.
Any help/advice appreciated.
BTW i am kinda new to htc devices so i may have missed an already posted o2 uk nandroid but im pretty confident i covered all relevent threads and searched all that can be searched!

Im loocking too for a nandroid backup for htc one o2 android version 4.22 (firmware: 2.24.206.1) o2 uk and o2 germany have the same version

About to start this process and I would like to know if any one thinks I should back up my original ROM prior?
It seems like I would only need it if I was to do a warranty exchange or possibly have to downgrade for some other reason. But it also seems like people here have the older versions.
Thoughts?
Just download the RUU either from here or HTC America's site for the orginal shipped Rom.
Or better yey, wait for the official released Rom on Monday so if you dork it up it will be covered under warranty...
Hi all, First Time poster/thread starter.
I have got my HTC one, Have the Bootloader Unl;ocked, S-On, and is rooted. I am running the Android Revolution HD 3.3 ROM, which is AWESOME - so a shout out to Mike1986.
I want to unroot the decive and have it restored to the firmware it was sent to me with (Vodafone UK) as i need to have it sent back as the battery is definitely over heating on the phone when its screen is off and doing nothing, however it is fine when i am using the phone to make calls or send texts or emails.
Mainly have root to freeze the useless things the network operater adds on which burnb battery.
at the moment the battery is not too back as yesterday i used the phone a lot and squeezed out 17hours of with 40% still left.
Main issue is the battery heat which is slightly worrying.
All of you will have more experience and knowledge then I do, I have searched the forums and all over the net for a solution to have it reverted back, there is one guide but that does not work, i have tried and tried.
Any guidence and help would be highly appreciated as it will enable me to send back the phone to get it sorted or swapped for another one - potentially the black one as the silver is not too much to my liking.

Could you please elaborate as I've got a similar issue. I've got a UK non branded M7 (CID HTC__001 if it helps) but the RUU for Europe (after locking bootloader) keeps aborting the restore saying Error 155. I'm on Android Revolution 3.5 with CWM Touch recovery.
How did it work for you?

I'm about to flash the europe one myself, the phones from carphone warehouse, sending this bad boy back to the shop, if i get any joy i'll let you know how i did it.
Hey, I was just wondering where I can download a Vodafone branded original stock rom for the Sensation XL, so I could send it back for repairs. Also if I were to get one, how could I unroot and restore my phone back the way it was first bought.

I need to return my phone to HTC because of a camera issue but a RUU is not available for my network (Three UK). I have a nandroid backup that I created when my phone was on 4.3 stock with root. I was hoping that I would be able to return to this backup and lock the bootloader so that my phone would be accepted for repair or to be replaced.
Help or opinions would be greatly appreciated

Exactly. And after the Sense 6 OTA has arrived to the M7, the number of return to stock threads (with many variations) is doubled, therefore it is really a lot of info to search for
So i got my second HTC One Sprint for the gsm as i live in Panama i can use it without problems, my first one i sold it but i love it and i get not so long a black one on 80 bucks and the seller was selling it as for parts or non working, just because it was with cyanogenmod 11 and it was untested "as is" so i took the risk to buy it knowing i could restore it with the ruu. However i am with a pain in the ass that i can't get it back to stock, i have tried with two differents ruu and both of them get stuck at the phase of cheacking header at 4% in a loop i have change it with bad boyz room and cyanogenmod, but honestly i don't like custom roms i prefer a stock rom rooted without bloatware and crapware and as Sprint is not so intrusive as Verizon ( almost all past phone i had have been Verizon) i wanted to put it stock cuz i'm waiting Lollipop. I have already unlocked the gsm for use here and i didn't have problem but with the bad boyz rom i have the loop of hands free something that i didn't had with the other one. I don't know if i have screwed up in the process of unlocking the gsm and that's the reason that i can't get it back to stock.
When i get it it was S-On and hboot and it's on 1.55, previously one was on 1.57 that was way harder to get the S-off and even with that one i got the no OS installed and i could recover it through the ruu that i have in my laptop, but with this one i don't know what i am doing wrong that i can't get it to stock. I tried with my laptop and desktop but also i don't know if windows have to do something with it because with the other one i was running windows 8.1 but now i am on 7.
Hope somebody can't help me to get it to stock, i don't want to give up but i am having 2 days trying to put it stock
