Testing the rom on my Mako. Fast and smooth, although Active Display seems to work randomly: some Whatsapp's notification showed, and some others didn't. And notification staying on screen time is very short, couple of seconds.

XiaoMi Mi2 and XiaoMi Mi2A are running on MIUI V5 based on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean while the HongMi and XiaoMi Mi3 with Tegra 4 are running on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean. The Snapdragon 800 XiaoMi Mi3 is running on Android 4.3 Jelly Bean, which is the latest among all XiaoMi smartphones. How about the Android 4.4 KitKat? The answer is yes.
According to Senior Engineer of MIUI, Sun Peng had confirmed that the MIUI that supports Nexus 5 is coming after the Lunar New Year in next year. In other words, the MIUI based on Android 4.4 KitKat is coming in February next year.
Sun Peng also stated that the stock Android 4.4 KitKat for the XiaoMi Mi2, XiaoMi Mi2S and XiaoMi Mi2A had been created. However, it is still under development progress. Lastly, he added that another Nexus device will get MIUI that based on Android 4.4 KitKat. It could be a Nexus 4 or Nexus 7 (2013).
MIUI is one of the most popular custom ROMs which is developed by XiaoMi. All XiaoMi smartphones are running on the MIUI which is based on different Android versions.

Well, is one of the smoothest roms for n4 till ART arrived, anybody can tell u that, and battery is acceptable!

there is NO OMNI4.4 in TC Dev-host .. there is a build in shaan go im .. but he wont release and mantain it .. so we dont have Omni4.4

i dont know really , we have pa , and aokp ready but omx not working
and i think we getting omni from sources soon ..
and if we got omx fixed i think we have devs are ready to build from source ..
so ur port will be used for 1~2 weeks till they fix omx ..
its my opnion but i think u should give omni a try bcuz we dont have it yet ..
the question what the base of ur rom (TC CM11 or Maclaw CM11)

Maybe you can try port Resurrection Remix since there are no one build it. I'm sure RR will get a good response from s advance users.
There are also many more roms like dirty unicorn,mokee (which has multi window) , ressuruction remix

Well, I would go with teamp8 as a base.
Bcuz its port for latest Maclaw cm11.
+ if u can port any 4.4 has halo, it would be nice .. Like (beanstalk ، latest mokee)

I tried Golden Guy's yesterday and it's very good! 2 things I didn't like, though:
- It deleted my APN's so I couldn't get mobile data.
- As with almost every AOSP ROM, can't use generic car charger (big issue for me).
