CyanogenMod does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.

Flashing Instructions
How to install?
1) Download the rom and put it on your sdcard.
2) Reboot into recovery
3) Wipe data/Factory Reset
4) Advanced -> Wipe Dalvik Cache
5) Mounts and storage -> Format /system
6) Install zip from sdcard.
* You can install gapps now or reboot and install them later
7) Reboot system now.

INSTRUCTIONS
First time installing CyanogenMod 11.0 to your Galaxy Note 8 N5100, or coming from another ROM:
- Read known issues ans FAQs
- Flash the latest official ClockworkMod-Recovery
- Copy GApps and CM11.0 ZIPs to your SDCard
- Boot into Recovery
- Flash CM11.0 zip from SDCard
- Flash GApps zip from SDCard
- DO A DATA WIPE / FACTORY RESET (otherwise your device will be stuck at boot)
- Reboot
- Don't restore system data using Titanium Backup!
- Restoring Apps + Data might cause problems and is not recommended, avoid it if possible!

This ROM has issue with sdcard not being writeable. So, for me, no. Not yet.

ROM cant be install with philz or any recovery in my n5100 i installed
CivZ Touch Recovery REV1.1 CWM 6.0.4.4 tried to install the ROM it says this package is for n5100 your devise is n5110 but my devise is n5100 not n5110
please fix it

If any one is having trouble with not flashing cos its tell you you have gt-n5110 use this recovery by nickdollahz it flashes fine

Gave this a run today....And I can say I like it way better then PAC!! Faster,smoother and I did not run into any hick-ups when installing using TWRP v2.6.3.0. I didn't have any problems hooking up my Bluetooth Headset or BT Keyboard within this ROM. If this is what Google is going to gives us as a heads-up for Key Lime Pie...WOW cant wait for it!

Did you installed by doing clean flash? If yes. Maybe problems on ROM.
If not. You have to install by doing a clean flash

U can flash the latest cm 10.2 and den flash this cm 11
Or search and find a cwm with higher version bt cm 10.2 is what I always follow

everything works
KNOWN ISSUES
1.screenrecord does not work
2.FM Radio does not work (you can use SpiritFM, but I'm not providing support for any problem)
3.Stock browser does not use hardware acceleration (Please use Google Chrome)
4.Sometimes wake up causes music stutter
5.Does not work on 4.1 stock ROM's bootloader, please upgrade to 4.2 before flashing

INSTALLATION
1.Make a backup!
2.If you were on CM 10.1 or a stock ROM prior to 4.2, upgrade to 4.2.
3.Install ClockworkMod recovery with SELinux support. Older CWM will result in a "status 7" error.
4.Install the ROM using ClockworkMod Recovery
5.Optionally install the Google Apps Addon
6.Wipe data if coming from stock

How will the ROM flash succeed on this device? It checks if the device is a meliusltexx or melius3gxx before flash and proceed only if it finds either. OTA updates will work after you flash this rom once because it will rename the device to meliusltexx.

The twrp recovery is modified and about the device changing to meliusltexx it always happens..

It's a very snappy ROM. Alot of the built in apps for mi are in a Foreign language though.
Even though I switch keyboards I still occasionally get a FC for the Android keyboard which is a little annoying.
Otherwise, nice job, keep up the good work.

Even though I switch keyboards I still occasionally get a FC for the Android keyboard which is a little annoying.
Otherwise, nice job, keep up the good work.

Go to settings And then Apps there is option where you can disable the android keyboard.. I did that no more FC..

For some reason when I flash any roms with versions of android over 4.4.4 they bootloop.

@vibraniumdroid Don't quote the OP..
Which device ? Which Rom ? Are you rooted ?
