Is CWM for locked bootloader available to this rom?
I ask so because CWM is not work in 490 stock root (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2173298) ,
which is also a odex version.
Not sure if there is something to do between CWM and (de)odex.

The OP should ask the moderators to move this to development.
It's pretty much an ftf, but if you convert it to a. Zip and root it then it's not general.

it works fine with the .489 kernel because the kernel hasn't changed. Other changes I can't say yet.

I'm still on that rom, now it notices me for the upgrade 9.1.A.1.140
Upgrading would brick the phone or maybe I would just loose CWM and rooting?

[Q] Any one porting AOSP 4.4 for S Advance?

With the great work Team Canjica is doing and Mr.Shaan, I love the development for our device.
But i was just curious is any one porting Kitkat 4.4, Aosp ?
I heard rumours that Team Canjica is working on Omni Rom 4.4, and possibly working on CM11.

Yes, the J-Team is working to build the aosp based on android 4.4, but we have some problems on the audio part and we are trying to fix it (thanks at the only member that mode fix and build )
When we will have a first build safe, i think that we will create a topic

I would really like a stable AOSP build, with no bugs.
Have been switching from CM, 10-10.1-10.2, and would try OMNI rom soon, I really appreciate the amount of work Team Canjica, shaan and many others who have put into our device,
But just saying, a stable AOSP 4.4 would be really nice.
Now there are rumours that samsung are considering 4.4 kitkat with all their touchwiz bloatware. Hoping that it will not make our phones lag like 4.1.2 did :/

Debloating and CoCore kernel for 4.4 will fix that - if we ever get 4.4

We have lots of problem with "offload" (it's a kitkat audio feature) so we can't compile...

No, not all yet ... they are working on it to add all features of previous Carbon versions in KitKat

In the last version I have the bug of WiFi! Is there a method to fix it? An other problem is low in call volume

ART was not working smooth for me in build 2, in the beginning it was smooth but after a few hours it started to lag.. Especially with switching between home screen and app drawer and switching between notification bar. With dalvik don't have this. Also have had this problem with ART on CM11 by maclaw.
Gonna try ART again, just updated carbon to build 3

In the 14th February build ART is not working at all. Also I have a choppy and laggy interface. ART -> Bootloop.

Yes both. I am not 100% what it does, but I remember I read somewhere that it should be enabled. Better memory management I think.

Samsung-updates.com and search your device and then somewhere halfway the page you find LQ4, remember that the download will take atleast 2hours because those ****ty ****in' uploadsites with their speed limit.

cm kernel + custom to kernel

Hey guys. Since note 5 has cm13. A beta build at most, I'm trying to build a personal custom kernel it. (from a already existing kernel from touchwiz) From what I've gathered. I need the zimage and boot.img dtb then flash supersu to patch.. Is there anything else I might be missing? I can get it to boot screen but it will not actually boot. Any info would be greatly appreciated
