I have my damage SGS3 mini (GT-i8190, spanish version) from 5 months ago.
My problems are:
- Corrupt IMEI (no generic, null/null, unknown)
- Unknown Baseband
- Corrupt Serial Number
I don't have backup of EFS folder/partition and any "nv_data" files. I tried more times with restart the device and install a new stock ROM and more things, but nothing. I´ll tried too, to find the correct box for repair this problems in my terminal but I don't know which is the correctly box (Asansam Dogle Box, JTAG Medusa, NsPro...).
Five days ago I give my cellphone to one thecnical support in my zone, but this Monday I´ll know the result, and they´ll having problems when I was ask yestarday.
The other option that I have, is buy a new motherboard.

Hi all,
Today I find out that my phone is not connected to Rogers network. I have US phone unlocked and unbranded. I had for 4 months now and never had this problem. Right now, when I go to Wireless setting and try to find operator it keeps looping to find one, any help appreciated.
I had to RMA my phone when this happened
I'm sorry to hear that you lost signal to Rogers. My Captivate had the same problem over the weekend (not connecting to AT&T).
My local AT&T store couldn't find anything wrong with it but recommended it was a hardware problem and can be exchanged for a working phone. Even trying a new SIM card didn't help. Luckily I had flashed to stock and had complete Titanium Backups of my apps & data.
Typing *#06# in the phone dialer brought up my IMEI number. The IMEI displayed should have been the same as what is shown underneath the phone's battery but it was not. It started with 004 instead of 351.
At this point I'm not sure the malfunction had to do with a hardware issue or my ROM flashing hobby. All I know for sure is that I made sure to backup my EFS folder before flashing another ROM.
Generic IMEI number starts with 004
It's hard to stop a TRANE but harder to BRICK your GalaxyS. It's not a hardware problem U have software is your problem and it's easy 2 fix. Just flash back to stock JH7, after that do an ODIN3 Master-Clear. When ur done all will be GOOD ur IMEI will b correct, network will be back
I got the problem after the last official gb update via kies. no sim found no cell phone reception..
problem come and gone some times...
after flashing ics everything seems ok since the release - yesterday the problem came back and get lost after some restarts an hours.
i flashed the new 3 part lpt via odin, rooted via cwm - flashed with the ne cf kernel - but the problem is still there.
i didn`t saved the efs cause i didn`t expacted an problem with it.
i tried the nine step reparation but i only got the developers imei starting with 0049
i tried KSII Repair and also everythin i found at the net...
nobody an idee to get the original imei back in the nv_data.bin ?
there was an user who was able to do this i read - but i forgot his name
Isn't there any file in the efs folder ???
You can either contact ODIA or, take it to a service center...

Hi All,
Something really strange just happen with my GT-I9295.
So I got the 4.2.2 version from the box. I recived an automatic upgrade which I have accepted and installed. But strangly after installation the version still 4.2.2. One week later the IMEI number just disapeard durring the night and cannot recover it anymore.
Network
Unknown
IMEI
Unknown
I didn't installed any custom ROMs, nothing.
I found that the IMEI number should be in EFS folder after factory data reset, but this file is missing there.
I have my IMEI under the back-cover, but how I can re-enter it in my phone ?
I heard the param.bin for gti9295 could help ? Could somone drop it here ?
I bought the phone 2 weeks ago
When I tried to repair it I have root it. How I can check my KNOX counter to see if I can send it back to Samsung ?
Thanks in advance and sorry for my english!
My IMEI shows 350000000000006. Most of the advice I've seen on this is to flash the stock firmware. I've tried this multiple times and it hasn't worked for me. I don't have a backup of the EFS partition that I can restore, but I do know what the actual IMEI is. I'm not really sure where to go from here. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.
Cheers,
Chad
There is no way to fix that, I was facing the same problem after I updated my phone to Nougat, after trying every possible solution i.e. Odin flash, factory reset, contacting T-Mobile, I couldn't find a solution, and I had to get it fixed by a Z3X box, so find a good repair shop with Z3X box, and they will repair it for you, also, changing the IMEI is illegal in some countries, so you may have difficulties finding someone to repair your phone. After the repair, I couldn't upgrade to Nougat and I am stuck with Marshmallow because the Z3X fix didn't support Nougat at that time (a month ago).
My friend asked me to fix her phone and I am seeing the same thing, however when I boot to download mode and use the "show barcode" option (push home button instead of vol+) it shows me the proper IMEI, and the IMEI is also printed on the back of the phone. I thought that maybe because I can still see the IMEI in the "show barcode" that the EFS partition is not corrupt, but I'm starting to think it definitely is...
If I remember correctly you can change your IMEI with an Xposed module.
This had happened to me before theres 2 ways to solve this
Either replace the motherboard with another one
or take it into your carrier and say the sim card doesnt work(make sure its on stock firmware
