Those don't seem to flash FULL RUUs from there. I attempted one of the OTA's; also, the phone is the Sprint version not the US Cellular.
Those are the only ones there are you can pm jmz see if he can help you did you buy the phone from sprint or is the SIM just unlocked and you are useing sprint SIM card

I meant AT&T. Shoot.
I have Tampered/Relocked/Security Warning on the phone atm. I though I downgraded the boot.img right but then decided just to reflash the stock RUU. I guess I'll reach out to him then.
For AT&T you can grab the RUU straight from HTC's support site.
I must have missed it then

Got it. I was thinking of you using it to flash CWM which seems to be better compatible with the ROM zips:
http://androidfiles.org/?developer=MystUL&folder=Stock_Roms
after the ROM is installed you can flash back to TWRP, if desired.

Sprint HTC One Stock 1.29 ROM looking to OTA a couple times to 4.3 Jellybean. I am rooted, S-off, locked. Do I need to unroot before update? Or can I simply re flash to stock recovery then update. Can't seem to find a way to flash the OTA with twerp.
More importantly Should we OTA or just flash a ROM based off the updates? Then Just wait for the next update flash-able ROM(4.3 jellybean)?
Thanks Hope to hear some responses on this. Patiently waiting to do it right. Thanks to all the developers. Have had a pleasant experience here!

How do you do your OTA. Do yo OTA or use the flash-able ones found here on the site? I am stock 1.29, rooted, S-off, locked. I think I can just flash the stock recovery and update via OTA's? There are two for me to get. Have been waiting for answers here on the site before I proceed. So far no answers to this question...What is the best way to upgrade? Revert the recovery to stock or download and flash a rom? Thanks

I just flash the stock recovery then take the OTA then reflash TWRP and reroot. This only works if you:
1. dont make any changes to your rom (/system/app) (if you do just revert them if you can)
2. helps if you are s-off and unlocked bootloader so you dont have issues re-rooting

I don't believe the OTA update is going to help you at all. Here's what I would do. The factory RUU (ROM Update Utility) that HTC provides is an executable that you run from your Windows PC (XP preferred). You don't have to load it to the phone - your phone just has to be connected.
A couple questions before we begin:
1 - Which phone did you get? DEV 64 - AT&T, Sprint, or T-Mobile?
2 - Do you want to save anything on that phone?
If no to 2, just continue. But if you want to save anything you'll need to use either Titanium Backup or Go Backup & Restore Pro (my favorite). Back up to the cloud or copy your backed up items off your phone if you wish to keep them because you're about to wipe it clean.
You can find the RUU for the DEV unit here - http://www.htcdev.com/devcenter/downloads. You may need to register at htcdev.com to access this page. But here you'll find a list of downloads - some are CRC (kernel source code) and one is RUU (WWE stands for World Wide Edition). Download that to your PC.
Not sure if this is necessary, but I would boot to recovery and wipe data/factory reset my phone. This will erase anything that you have on it. I'd also wipe the cache and davlik.
Next once the RUU is downloaded and you're sure you've backed up EVERYTHING you want to keep, double click on the RUU. It should be cake from there. It'll restore your One back to factory standards and you should be able to send this puppy back.:highfive:

Also, if you bought the unlocked version from HTC like I did then you're fine with having it factory unlocked with an unlocked bootloader. You don't need to re-lock that.
By the way, here's a graphic of the file you'll want to download and run on your computer when you're ready to restore the phone.

Ok, I don't think so. Sorry. The RUU appears to be for the Dev edition only. That was the mistake I made and I completely hosed my previous phone. I see the one that you bought here: http://shopamerica.htc.com/cell-phones/productdetail.htm?prId=41589
Until HTC releases an RUU for that device we can't go that route.
The only other route would be to flash the stock ROM to your phone at the link here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2224752
Follow the instructions. You'll end up adb flashing the stock boot.img and stock recovery back to your phone. Those files are discussed in the first post.
It's a little more work, but this is the kind of stuff that I love staying up late for. Good luck and sorry we couldn't do it with an RUU.

ROM Update Utility
It's a file that allows you to revert back to stock.
YES
Follow the steps listed here.
Before I did anything I updated to the newest firmware. Then using twrp I created back ups and transfured them to my computer. I flash the Android Rev 4.3 not knowing it was GSM only. The phone never would go past the boot loader. So i restored from my twrp back up. All of my stuff came back but I had no service and after about a min the phone would reboot it self. So i did the factory wipe and have been trying to get a rom to flash since then. I was finally able to get one to load today but i still have the same no service/reboot issue, however now i can't access the menu. When i swipe up it just says HTC till it reboots it self.
I have resorted to using ADB to load roms I have even used super wipe with no changes. I'm out of ideas here.

Please forgive me as my flashing back to stock experience goes back to my Motorola Photon days. If I soft-bricked my device I would SBF (Motorola's RUU) back. Any version would work. Once I had the device reloaded I would then re-unlock and try again with my favorite choice of ROM.
Honestly at this point what do you have to lose? I would try any and all RUU's to try and un-brick your phone.

I just flashed this recovery to my sprint version and tried to accept the OTA and I got a red triangle during the flash, so I'm guessing it isn't right. The red triangle is the stock recovery press vol+up and power after like 15 seconds.
I thought there was something botched with it too but that is how the stock recovery looks
When I flashed the ota on the stock phone (under the tree) I didn't see any triangles, only flashing goodness. So I think something is wrong.

follow this steps:
Prequisites:
1) ADB and Fastboot executables http://www.mediafire.com/download/3vgybfyv7u7tf69/ADB.rar
2) Stock recovery signed image: http://www.mediafire.com/download/jnl3nw9hvk5ouv5/recovery_signed.img
Steps:
1) extract ADB.rar to c;\ADB
2) On c:\ADB hit shift + right click mouse and select "open windows command here"
3) turn on your phone, and from your PC command type: adb reboot bootloader (this will reboot your phone into bootloader)
4)at bootloader type this: fastboot flash recovery recovery_signed.img
and you should see this:
Code:
sending 'recovery' (12100 KB)...
OKAY [ 1.237s]
writing 'recovery'...
OKAY [ 0.865s]
finished. total time: 2.102s
5) if this doesnt work, just download the original rom for your carrier from HTC and execute the rom install from your PC: http://www.htc.com/us/support/rom-downloads.html
Your phone will be back to original with the recovery also... just remember to relock your phone before executing the Stock ROM exe (type this command to relock: fastboot oem lock)
Have a nice day

is the recovery listed here part of the firmware set for 1.11.506.1? or is it from an earlier build?

It should be unless there's a bunch of recovery firmwares for some reason? Is there a reason you need that info?

Stock recovery are not interchangeable. So if this is from something older, it doesn't have much value. I don't know what the likelihood is of future updates, but I like to be prepared.
If someone had an older ruu, I'd be pretty happy to have that, so ota files could be collected.
