[KERNEL] franco r176 with kernel module support - UNOFFICIAL

OTG functionality will have essentially no effect for those who have no desire to use it. Module support is present (+modversions).

That has nothing to do with the kernel. That involves the Touch Control dev and the dev himself to support custom kernels.

Not exactly sure what happened, but flashing this seemed to somehow removed my root access
Running jarjar's stock AOSP rom. Tried to re-flash SU in recovery but didn't do anything

It uses the CM ramdisk. Maybe that has something to with it?
I'm using CM10.2 which uses Koush's built in Superuser and it works fine.
You flashing SuperSU 1.51?

Not sure if this is cm10.2's implementation or done by shubhamchamaria, but the ramdisk has a file, init.superuser.rc:

Game killer not working at cm10.1!
Is that some one use game killer? my friend use nexus7.2 running JB4.3 official stock! no problem at all running game killer!after me and my friend both nexus4 running cm10.2(15/8-nightly) running then it's prompt root access need(something like that)!then i check superuser logs already allow!download from playstore also same problem???and menu button at navigation bar also not working!

CM10.2 is great actually. Seeing the light once again for N4.

After installing 10.2-20130814-NIGHTLY, my phone is working awesome! Folder issues are gone!
One month on stock 4.3 and now glad to be on cyanogenmod again... Customization rocks!

fcs after update from 20130802 to 0817
Hi,
was on vacation and could not follow the threads, just flashed the new nightly 20130817 (coming from 20130802), realized no google sync and fcs so I figured that I needed the new gapps and flashed it. Works better now, but I still have issues when running chrome or ROM Manager:
"Chrome has stopped working" (same with Rom Manager).
Deleted the apps cache, but it did not help, anything that I´m missing?

I had the same issue. Forgot to flash gapps, then did it, then still had FCs on a number of my Google apps. I ended up uninstalling and reinstalling the offending apps from the play store. So there's always that option.

For the next time, just dirty-flash the same ROM and the gapps right after. That did it for me recently.

flashed fresh copy, went to about, found SElinux or something, tapped it lots, phone was stuck on cynagendmod screen during boot.

Had that happen before. Had to boot into recovery and wipe cache/dalvik.
On-topic: So flashing gapps is completely necessary when going from one 10.2 nightly to another?

Where can I find/download xposed framework for nook hd plus? Is it a zip file or an apk? Could you provide a link? Instruction for installation?

The code for TabletUI was completely removed by Google in Kitkat, so Xposed Modules won't work either. Not yet at least.

TabletKat in Xposed works fine in hummingbird CM11, i'm on the latest nightly, and except for the tablet mode recents apps crashing (just turn ir off) works flawlessly.

Its all sorted out at last - using latest cm 11 release and it all just works fine 4 me

I still have this file from ages ago on the sd card. Has there ever been an update to it?
Also is it still worth flashing on cm11? Does it help with the wlan wakelock?

I think it was included in sources after this summer, but I really am not sure

I assume it would have been. But have never seen it confirmed anywhere

I believe that it is either included or a more up to date version is included in all 4.4 ROMs

Could anyone ( @Ben36 ) upload the .ZIP file? I've reverted back to CM 10.1.3 since I have some issues with CM11 nightlies and will be on CM 10.1.3 for a while.

It did before for me.Also I had problems connecting to my router back in CM 10.2.Flashing this ZIP had solved the issue

Attention Cataclysm Users.....

NOTE- SEEMS TO ONLY WORK ON ART
Now I hope this doesn't break any rules..... But I have temporary 4.4.3 solution until hopefully official rom gets re-released again updated....
But here goes.....

If it fails installation, reboot recovery and try again

Couldn't you just change what it shows in settings with a build.prop edit? Or is this more than that?

All i did was pull the systemui, framework and settings apps from Cataclysm so they're flashed to 4.4.3. U don't get a reboot menu it would appear so far

Sorry mate i'm having major issues when i get to homescreen for the first time. Systemui is crashing badly any ideas?

Did you boot into 4.4.3 first then go flash the other file after?
Did you try wipe dvalik and cache? I never had any problems :-S

Generally works although some of the options appear to be broken (nav bar resizing and immersive are broken as far as I know), and I had constant UI crashes after trying to switch from ART back to Dalvik. Reflashed both stock 4.4.3, the Cataclysm zip, and Franco's r53 beta and no problems so far (using ART)... nice effort!
