Hi,
This mod is for those who have migrated from Sony Stock ROM into CM10.1 but still missing the convenient Small Apps (like me!!)

Please note that this is my first attempt to mod, and I welcome any bugs report and suggestions
Will continue to add more working small apps into the list, and probably develop few...
Instruction:
1. Download from the link provided
2. Put it into your internal/external SD card
3. Flash it through ClockWorkMod Recovery

It appears that this mod is only for FXP235.
I tried to flash it again in FXP236 and I got a bootloop as well.
I think FXP made some changes to the framework or something in their update...
I will make another mod for FXP237 soon.

I made this rom for myself at the beginning but judging from the very low number of custom roms for P6810 I thought I might as well share it.
This rom is based on the CM9 by Locerra (huge kudos to Locerra for his great work).
I modified it to make it look and (somewhat) feel like JB, hope this helps you wait till Locerra's CM10 is at a daily driver stage. EDIT : it now is quite a daily-driver
List of Changes
- Added Jelly Bean Boot animation from the Nexus 7
- Added Jelly Bean Animations
- Added Jelly Bean Fonts
- Added Google Now & Google Now Voice Search
- Added Jelly Bean Lockscreen
- Added Google Ears (JB music recognition widget)
- Added Jelly Bean Wallpapers in Trebuchet (in "wallpapers" in the wallpaper picker)
- Changed Default wallpaper to the most famous JB wallpaper
- Added Jelly Bean Apps (Google Music, Magazines, Books, Gallery, FaceUnlock, Video editor...)
- Added Jelly Bean Apollo Theme
- Added Beats-Audio modified DSP Manager
- Included latest ICS gapps
- Included latest Solid Explorer, Flipboard, Maps & Street View, Chrome, maybe other apps...
- Added a lot of build.prop tweaks
- Included the wifi-hotfix provided in Locerra's thread
- Zipaligned
Known Issues
- The bootanimation might be buggy, don't worry if the animation is stuck, the tab is still booting.
- Same as Locerra's CM9
- Default wallpaper might be cut at first boot but changing to another and then back will fix it
- Report if you find another
Disclaimer
I am not responsible for any kind of damage made to your device while flashing this rom, flash this at your very own risk.
Always make sure you have a nandroid backup before flashing. Do not flash this rom on a P6800 (3G version), only P6810 !
Be very careful with the Galaxy Tab 7.7, never format /system in CWM mounts & storages, our tab suffers from Super Brick MMC_CAP_ERASE bug.
(Writing a guide on how to revive a Superbricked galaxy tab 7.7, will publish in a few days...This bug really is a P.I.T.A...).
How to Install
If coming from another rom than CM9, i would recommend to wipe /data.
If you come from Locerra's build then just :
¤ Wipe cache
¤ Wipe dalvik
¤ Flash the rom from CWM
¤ Reboot
Do not flash the gapps they are already included.
Download Here (Multiupload)
Please feel free to make mirrors
Credits
- Locerra for bringing CM9 and CM10 to our lonely tab
- ...Awesome... for Beats-Audio DSP Manager (thread here)
- Mobint for Holo Locker (Play store link here)
- Mr.Krypton for Google Now on ICS
- I took some other add-ons from threads i can't remember. if I forgot you just let me know, i'll add you.
If you like the ROM please press the THANKS BUTTON

Couldn't manage to unpack any galaxy tab 7.7 kernel using the usual perl scripts etc...
This is because samsung uses ramdisks without a header, or with a 512b header in the middle (this causes the "Android magic not found" error).
(yeah i know, header +in the middle = contradictory^^). I tried asking to Ezy as he is the creator of the only custom kernel for P68XX that i know, but he did not answer
Only way i found is to compile kernel from source (you can get the sources at opensource.samsung.com) but i didn't look into it already.
I am interested in this too, if you find something useful, please let us know.
Can someone put the file somewhere else please?
I keep getting errors on the other download!

I've currently hacked the Cyanogenmod build system to recompile the source when updating the initramfs, but I would much rather use the standard repackaging tools if possible.

Thank you for sharing this build. As you said, there is a very limited selection for the wifi-only version of the galaxy tab 7.7. So I am very happy that I can flash this :victory:

Yeah Samsung would make our lives easier if they would do like others do...
Really glad to hear you found a workaround for that issue.
Do you think you could make a version of your regular CM9 or CM10 kernel just removing the damn MMC_CAP_ERASE for P6810 ?
My Tab had the superbrick bug and now everytime I wanna flash a ROM or test one of my builds I have to spend 15+ minutes on e2fsck and parted to be able to flash and boot it properly because it re-bricks everytime...
Anyway thanks for all the awesome work you did and keep doing for the 7.7 community:good:
Installed fine over CM9, had to manually re-install Chrome but other than that its working nicely.
Cannot figure out how to get google Now up - but other than that it looks ok.

Every kernel that I've used for CM and for CWM has had MMC_CAP_ERASE disabled (including the current one).

Thanks for the feedback. Just use the google searchbox that is on home screens to bring up google now.
You can also simply use the "google" app in your app drawer. For the voice you'll have to use the "Voice search for google now" app.
Just click the quicksearchbox mic and select this app as default.

Thanks a lot for that.
Bad news for me though, I thought this would fix the issue, but that means it only takes one mmc_cap_erase for it to corrupt your partitions everytime you wipe something, even if it's disbled in the kernel you run next

To: XPERIABEANS ALPHAHello everyone.
My name is AndroiddiordnA, and I have just recently scooped up a D3 for a sweet sweet $50 with the car dock and Otterbox :victory:
So, I came home and got right down to getting it Unlocked, Rooted, Flashed some JB and instantly realized a sad truth. I havent seen much Xperia love on many Droid devices recently. So I am on a mission starting with the Droid 3 to start a series of builds for Motorola Devices that will combine the smoothness of JB with the elegance of Xperia.
I am looking for a few testers, as well as some Devs if interested to take on tackling this project.
Below are some screenshots of my current progress, This is a "sample" of what we would be looking at. I am currently running this and it is based off of HASHCODES KEXEC CM10.1 4.2.1. (This would be seperately built with Xperia Framework in an actual Custom build)
But you all get the idea.
Message me with any questions, or if there is some interest.
Thanks!
AdA

Hello Everyone!
Im actually pleased to say that I have been running this successfully for 24 hours and have really taken a liking to my new found Droid 3.
Of course not having 1GB of ram is a killer as the system is not as fast as a comparable Dual Core phone. But for what it is on the device it is, you just cant beat the look and feel of it.
I can do one of two things for all of the people that are interested and itching to flash.
1. I can write up a detailed process to get you to where I am starting with a fresh install of the 1-23 CM10 From Kexec.
2. I can make a Nandroid and you could possibly just put it in your backups folder and restore it. Not sure would need someone to test this.
Either way get me some feedback and ill hop on tonight and get some Xperia in your guy's hands for sure.
Oh BTW, I have not installed Gapps over top of this yet as I can be 100% sure it will significantly eat up the very small amount of ram left. I am working on a slim Gapps that is based off a Galaxy s2 10MB Gapps file just have to do some tweaks and it will at least give you play store and the ability to get your contacts and everything.
Ill let you all know tonight whats up.
Thank you all for the support and drop me a PM if you want to test out a nandroid backup this evening as I will get one available.
ALSO: If there is anyone that could help me compile all of this into a flashable zip that would be great because im not too familiar with Droid 3 do's and dont's.
BUMP for Update 2/27/13

will it work on aokp builds or only cm10?
if not how much trouble would it be to make one for aokp?
either way thanx for your time and effort
ill flash cm10 when i get a chance and ur theme
and ill report back
Hi all,
Sbrissen and darkman kindly allowed me the use of their hard work to port CM10.2 rom to our N8020. These have recently become nightly official builds thanks to Sbrissen whose work it is I am porting.
At this time there is no way to add tablet mode..but I will look into it.
Head on over to the original threads to say thanks and/or donate and just hit the button for me as I don't do donations.
here's Sbrissens original thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2413149
Also, thanks darkman for his install script which I modified the UI messages on and this uses the original optus modem software from my stock tablet rom.
Many thanks to @wwwcase for finding the fix to the apn and play store bugs and to @Simon94 for his very real dev work on our device
Please remember I am not a dev and have only modified the basic stuff to work on our variation of the note 10.1 and as such will ignore requests. I have a very busy real life and will only keep up with original releases at my own pace.
Disclaimer: I take no responsibility for bad things that may occur as a result of flashing this.
From the original thread...
CyanogenMod is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Linked below is a package that has come from another Android project that restore the Google parts. CyanogenMod does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.
All the source code for CyanogenMod is available in the CyanogenMod Github repo. And if you would like to contribute to CyanogenMod, please visit out Gerrit Code Review. You can also view the Changelog for a full list of changes & features.

SU should be fixed now (thanks to Sbrissen) but if you have any problems you need to do a couple of things to activate it.
Activate the developer options menu item and thus activate the menu item for the USB debugging, you have to open your phone’s settings menu. Then navigate to the “About phone” settings page. There you will find a sub-item called “build number”. If you click 7 times on the build number item, the developer options will be unlocked. After successful activation you will find the item developer options in the usual place in the Android settings menu. To enable superuser active, switch on usb debugging and make sure root access is set for apps and adb. Reboot may be necessary. Your root should be back now!
PLEASE HIT THANKS IF I HELPED

After using it for some days I recognized the following things:

2. Cyanogen File Manager: ONLY "Save rights" are available in preferences (grey)
Superuser access and rooting works and I have done all the other couple of things to activate it.
3. Is there any possibility to use samsung keyboard? Its not implemented and I don´t know, which files and APK´s are necessary

Hello Everyone!!
After almost chilling out for a year on XDA, this is my first contribution
I've tried out many ROMS for our beloved devices, but couldn't stay on a single ROM for more than 3-4 days....
Then I thought, why shouldn't I make my own ROM according to my taste and have full liberty of customizing it....
SO after a week or two of reading through guides and checking videos, here it is!! My first ROM based on Gingerbread
(imo our devices were meant to run on GB  )
I've been using this Rom for over a month now without any problems, so i decided to share it with the community...hope you like it!!
And guys, please dont hesitate to tell me if you want anything new or want a new feature or want it removed...we're always here to help you....thanks....you guys mean a lot to me

another indian dev working for arc will test as soon as possible proud to be an indian :highfive:
a bit off topic
---------- Post added at 10:43 AM ---------- Previous post was at 10:31 AM ----------
Tested the rom no bug yet found
very smooth
some things missings bro such as cpu control
love the transparent status bar (someway to remove battery percentage in it)
Enabled 2g/3g toggle in quicktoggles button but not appearing in statusbar
Great rom straight out of the box :good:
As pentium has said no 2g 3g toggle in statusbar is the only fault I find so far.
I tried to load CM'S focal camera.apk , but all I get in ES File explorer is "there is a problem parsing the package"
I don't know if it will ever be able to be intsalled or not, but if it could be, this would be my perfect rom !!!!
Never the less, it's great as it is, congratulations
Flash
Nicely made ROM!!! I love the smoothness, themes are fantastic, performance is superb. BUT, I have a request- Could you make a flashable Zip to add panorama please??? It's something I use alot hehe... Thanks you for the ROM, now I can show off to my friends haha!!!

focal camera.apk is made for jelly bean as i guess....you need to find a GB port for it to make it work on gingerbread ROMS
so any apk which is made for a particular android version will not work on the ones below that level
thanks guys for trying my ROM and giving feedback....criticizing this ROM will only help me in making it much better :highfive:

Presenting MIUIv4 2.10.26 Jellybean (4.1.2) (unofficial) Read this post entirely before using the ROM or asking any questions!
Firstly, this ROM uses my CM10 as base.
This ROM has been ported from samsung galaxy nexus official. The MIUI team deserves all credit.
Details of the ROM:
Tested with CWM recovery touch 5.0.2.8.
No Multilanguage support.
Does not come with gapps, you need to flash it separately.
I AM NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANYTHING THAT HAPPENS TO YOUR PHONE, USE AT YOUR OWN RISK
FEATURES :
working camera and camcorder
fixed OpenSSL, Linux kernel and Android signing security issues
WORKING LIST:
Booting
Touch Screen
Baseband (GSM/phone/messages/3G/2G/mobile data)
Headphones
Sounds
SD Card detection
Working HW acceleration
OMX
Stock Gallery
Video Playback
Browser
Keyboard
Usb Mass Storage
Youtube LQ/MQ
Deep sleep
Animations
GPS
Google play
Camera
Video recording
Wifi
Bluetooth
Wifi tethering working
Usb tethering working
Bluetooth tethering working
NOT WORKING :
Panorama
Live wallpapers(Never used these)
Tips on using the ROM:
Camera:
If you are not satisfied with the quality and performance of the stock camera app, "Camera jb+"(from playstore). And use videocam illusion pro for recording videos.(Again from playstore). It will produce better quality images.
Superuser:
Before installing anything, first activate root permission from 'LBE Guard' app in 'Security Center' folder. Select 'manage root permission' and enable it.
This only needs to be done once, and all superuser prompts will come as usual when you install/use root apps.
If you installed or tried to use any root apps before doing this, and your app no longer gets root access, reinstall that app.
Themes:
MIUIv4 requires you to have a free Xiaomi account to apply themes.
Creating the account is free, quick and very easy
Dont complain if boot animation does not apply!
If you had old MIUI themes (like MIUI GB themes) in your MIUI folder on your sd card, the theme manager may try to convert them to the new format, which may take a long time. If it fails, remove those themes from your sd card.
If you downloaded a theme and it does not appear automatically in themes, press menu inside the theme manager app, and manually browse and select the .mtz file (in your sd card/MIUI/themes folder) and restart the app.
Battery:
To see percentage battery indicator on the status bar, go to settings->battery and change the battery indicator style
Performance:
To make the UI transitions faster, you can use the good old standard tip:
Go to settings->developer options
Set 'window animation scale', 'transition animation scale' and 'animator duration scale' all to "0.5x". UI animations will seem twice as fast after doing this.
If the ROM becomes slow over time, do a reboot.
And try not to do a lot of stuff in the first few seconds when SD card scanning is going on, sync is going on or when apps are updating in the background. Its not right to complain of "this/that doesnt work" or lag when you do that .
Instructions:
1. In recovery, wipe data if you are coming from any ROM other than MIUIv4 JB (even if you are upgrading from beta to stable, wipe is needed), and format /system (this needs to be done even while upgrading from older version)
2. Flash the ROM and mic fix
3. Reboot. First boot takes time, be patient.
Standard disclaimer:
I am not responsible if anything goes wrong with your phone.
If someone has posted a bug and you have the same bug, just thank their post or wait. No need to flood with the same bug reports.

Update1: Download and flash attached "Mic fix" after flashing rom.
If you don't like nav bar and would like to get rid of it, then flash navbar_disabler.zip.
Note: You should flash these zip's or fixes, only after first boot. If you flash these immediately after flashing rom(or along with rom), you'll end up with more problems. So, please be make sure that you are following instructions correctly. And one more thing, you should flash rom after a factory reset. It won't function after a factory reset.

I am very poor at resizing stuff. I need someone to resize apks. If i find some time, i'll work on resizing.
And i don't think ics apk works on this. I tried resizing launcher, but failed.
I need someone to resize launcher, mms, music and rest of the things are okay. And resizing gallery to ldpi solves flickering problems(thnx @magmini). Anyone who is interested is freely allowed to resize(to ldpi) and post here or create their own thread.

Use gapps this way:
1. Install gapps
2. Install playservices from a previous backup.
3. Freeze google apks like playservices, backup transport, contact sync, network location, picasa uploader etc except "playstore, google account manager, market update and google services framework" (basically freeze every google apk except these)
4. Add google a/c and use playstore normally.
5. If you don't have a playservices backup, let market download it and freeze it after that.

is there another issues on this rom?

Looks like i forgot to include fixed phone.apk. I'll release a patch for it. If you know how to use apktool, just decompile phone apk and change audio manager boolean value in bools.xml to true.

Got it! Thanks for pointing to the right post.
I shall install the ROM and update if I find any bugs. Hopefully none
Got the first error
I installed the ROM on my Galaxy Mini GT-S5570 and after it booted, I got the error "Unfortunately, Messaging has stopped". Thereafter it showed SIM cannot be activated and "No Service". That means basically I am stuck now.
BTW I had to remove the assert command and do the install since I was getting Status 7 error even though my ro.build.device had the value of "tass".
I did a clean install too (factory reset)
