[Q]Desktop dock & Galaxy Tab P1000 & CM problem - Galaxy Tab Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi,
Is there any chance to pair official Samsung docking station(ECR-D980) with P1000 with CM10.1 ROM onboard? Should I go for a different rom? I really would like to stick with this one if it's possible. I tried apps to redirect sount to audio out, but it doesn't work.

Same problem here with CM 9 and CM 10.1.

There is a solution!
I've installed newest HumberOS build and it works flawlessly! Now I have sound and charging through dock connected to HIFi and I can still take the tab out without connecting and disconnectiong jack.

I installed this Jellybean 4.2.2 (cm10.1 HumberOS), found on youtube.
Still no audio from dock port.... :crying: Still worked with the stock rom.

Got it to work with the newest HumbeOS.
Thank You so much! :good:

[Q] No sound with original Car-Dock

Hey,
i have a problem.
I bought the Original Vehicle Dock ECS-V968BE
I use Cyanogenmod7 Ver. 71 Android 2.3.5
Every thing works fine but i cant get any sound through the Dock. I just hear some crazy noises trough my speaker.
I tried this Galaxy Dock Sound Redirector but it doesnt work. The app closed after starting.
Is there any way to get sound through the Vehicle Dock?
I also have the same issue, have read that the 2.3.4 update will fix this (coming in september) was wondering if anyone had found a work around till then?

No bluetooth audio with leaked ICS roms?

Hi guys!
My bluetooth audio doesn't work with any of the recent ICS custom roms. I am currently on stunner 4.5 and still can't get it to work.
My car registers the blutooth audio device sucessfully and after connecting the note the note volume slider also changes to bluetooth but I don't hear any sound. It worked great on all GB roms.
Does anyone else has this issue?
Thanks and best wishes
suxi
With ICS 4.0.4 and Stunner 5.0 it finally works. Thanks a lot for that!

[q] what is the best custom rom i should install on my hp touchpad

subjective .. i know
but i have a hp touch pad and im not sure what to install. im leaning towards aokp because i have it on my phone and its amazing.... but is there anything better?
i just realized i have cyanogenmod version 9.0.0 rc0
i want to install nightly rom
but do i have to be on cyanogenmod v9 alpha 3?
when i look up alpha 3, it says cyanogenmod v7?
i have not tried every single one out there, but out of the ones i have tried, i have liked aokp the best. second would be oat's, but i dont like his inclusion of the hd go app launcher (or whatever its called).

I like the CM9 official nightlies. Used to run CherryKang until the dev stopped updating it.
CM9 right now has the bleeding edge with the mic working properly. There is also a headphone fix you can flash to make it so you can plug in headphones after the app is already playing audio.

I have been looking for this, can someone link me to it?
I'm having good luck with the nightlies which I install regularly through goomanager. But for the camera, which I don't need, everything seems to be working smoothly and reliably. Your mileage may vary (as I read these threads).
I find regular old CM9 to work just fine. Everything I need works fine now that the microphone has started working. I never use front facing cameras, even the one on my Droid 3 goes unused most of the time so that isn't an issue for me.

[Q] N1 Official Car Dock with CM10.1

Yesterday I installed CM10.1 VJ Jelly Bean 4.2.2 v5.0 for N1 and have found it to be quite stable and fast. Maybe even smoother than the ICS rom I had been using! But I can't seem to get it to pair with the car dock.
/sys/devices/virtual/switch/dock/bt_addr does populate with the dock's MAC address correctly
/sys/devices/virtual/switch/dock/state reads as 2
From what I can tell it seems it never puts the dock into a pairable state?
Does anyone know if there's a trick to getting this to work?
I found this post where someone seems to have done most of the legwork on how the automatic pairing process works http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=643610&page=3 but I can't even pair it manually since it doesn't show up in the list of available bluetooth devices.
I've verified the my bluetooth is working fine in other capacities.
Thanks!
works with my galaxy s 4 / hacks

Bluetooth issue

Hi all,
The headphone port on my TP is broken and I'm on CM 10.1 Snapshot which wouldn't work with my bluetooth headphones, I could pair them but when I wanted to use them with Netflix or YouTube the sound kept coming out of the speakers even though the "media audio" option was ticked . I did a full uninstall of Android installed Evervolv AOSP Android 4.3.1 JB (20140129) and had exactly the same problem with that ROM. I know the headset works fine as I have it paired and working perfectly with my Samsung Note II.
I can keep trying different ROMs and versions of ROM's but I'm hoping someone here can tell me which of the (relatively) stable ROMS works best with Bluetooth?
Cheers,
Ben
