We received a HTC One with a batch of other phones. This HTC One is stuck on the HTC Logo and no matter what you choose in restore mode, it brings you back to the HTC One logo where it's stuck. I thought maybe it was because somebody tried to root it, but it is locked still so I don't know.
Here's my screen. I have had experience with ADB flashing some older android phones, but wanted to make sure that's the route I will have to go on this one. Also, if so where is a bone stock rom and which rom would I need?
EDIT:
I have spent many hours on this and can't figure it out.
So my bootloader screen first said

Is there something else I should try? I would try a newer RUU but I can't seem to find one. The only other one I found seems to be a leak. If that's what it takes to make it work, I will, but I know sometimes it's not good jumping to the newest if you're on an older software.
You can boot in bootloader with the longpress of Power and Vol- buttons?
If yes, flash a recovery and after use the adb sideload whit the rom do you like

I just want stock.
Oh, and it is an AT&T Model. I guess I am missing the stock rom section. Everything I see isn't stock.
Ok, so, you will be stock.
Go in bootloader and check if you're in s-off or s-on and locked or relocked.
Check also the firmware version.
P.s. the screen in op isn't visible

If no, try this.
For security, go into fastboot mode and use the command:

Are there different versions of RUU for One, One X, etc? I just want to make sure I get the right one.

Where to next cap'n?
I found these from a download link from 1.26.502.10 but they're newer. Will they work fine?

Once I have the proper file what's the command to flash it on HTC. I've only done ASUS tablets and Nexus 7's before. Their command is adb push stock.rom /sdcard/stock.rom
Or do I use the HTC tool? I guess I am confused a bit.

Sounds like you need to RUU first.
The official RUU should be an .exe file. Its a windows program. Plug in the phone. Run the program. Profit.
It will only work if you're using the AT&T ruu for the HTC One, and the version number can not be older than your current version.

Hi guys,
I recently got an HTC One from Sprint and unlocked the bootloader, tried installing a custom rom and it didnt work kept getting a bootloop, so went into twrp recovey and deleted basically everything...
So fastboot work on my laptop and i know what i need to do is sideload a rom or turn s-off and use an ruu, i cant use an ruu now because my version is highter than the highest ruu...
So adb isnt working, installed drivers about 20 times and did everything... Could it be because usb debugging isnt on? IF so how can i turn it on, because i cant go into settings on my phone.

Ok, so I am one of those idiots that accidentally wiped his OS. I was stuck in a boot loop and got a little click happy when I was choosing what to wipe during the reset process.
Here is my question (as everything I need is downloading)...
I am stuck at bootloader/recovery...and have S-ON. Will I be able to flash back to a stock (or any) ROM?

I upgraded to 4.3, rooted and was doing fine until I got the dreaded reboot loop (Boot to OS and work for about 10 sec before rebooting again). Decided to do a factory reset, and like I said, got a little over zealous.
So, what I have read (at least I think) is that unless I get S-OFF, I am screwed. But how do I get S-OFF if I can't boot into the OS?
Someone, please help...been working on this all day with no luck.

You can do an adb sideload of a stock rooted ROM based on 3.04.651.2. The only time you need S-OFF is if you are flashing a ROM that is based on a different firmware (Sense 5.5 based ROMS). You can do a google search for adb sideload steps... its pretty straight forward.
Look HERE
Use the guide(if you want to learn some stuff ) or run the 3.04 RUU

Hi there, managed to recently unroot, and flash my RUU back to stock which is Android 4.1.2.
I'm so off, my device is relocked. And i'm super CID.
When I try to search for an update my phone says i'm up to date which isn't the case.
I've tried to google framework fix but It didn't work.
I just want to be able to update my phone OTA and not need to use my computer anymore, that's why I unrooted.

I had to SUPER CID to flash this particular RUU.
If I change my CID back now, will this mean my RUU is redundant and then crick my phone?

Dear friends,
I was on Google Play edition rom, and right now I'm trying to go back to stock RUU. Now in the process of doing that I have to flash RUU.zip twice, now when I finished the first flash with RUU.zip, my computer is unable to see the device in a Fastboot mode anymore. (I guess what I flashed change the hboot to 1.44 version and causing some error in Fastboot mode).
And now I'm trying to flash the RUU.zip or anything to chang ethe hboot back via ADB sideload but it doesn't work.
So I guess I'm stuck on this half Google Play edition and cannot go back to Stock now. However, I'm still Root and has TWRP installed on it.

You're probably using Win8.1, which is incompatible with hboot 1.44, use Win7/XP (maybe 8) or Linux, etc.
Thanks for the help, I'm currently using Win8 at the moment not 8.1. So you think Win7 may do the trick still?
