[Q] not reading internal storage. - Motorola Droid 4

As it says. Can't take pictures cuz it says no storage available or even use my xda app. Look in es file explorer under /storage/sdcard0 and it says its not mounted in settings I don't have the option to mount it only external. Is there a way to manually mount it? Iam on cm10.2 nightly btw

I think 4.3 version is not allowing External SD Card to be visible and only the Internal SD Card are allowed to be visible. Try to use X-plorer app or any similar to it and go to root > storage > and you can see there "sdcard0" and "sdcard1" and open it. Hope this will help you.

Restarting a bunch of times fixes it. Just frustrating

Are you trying to copy from PC to ext sd?
Sent from my GT-I9000 using xda premium
It should show up as a seperate drive with the phone if you're mounting it as a USB drive. It would show up as something called Removable Disk (with a drive letter) if you haven't renamed the card before.
You are aware that on your phone the Ext sd is called emmc on cm base roms?

And I don't have a file called emmc either mate

Go to your file manager and look for 2 folders
emmc
sdcard
one will be external sd & other internal sd
If you are on stock ROM then looks for SDcard>external_sd
I have a external file an a SD file but this phone has internal memory and external SD built in to it just that dosnt allow me to use mine to move apps to etc I managed to put some pics n music on it but wanna use it to save space on my phone aswell

Stock?
Are you running a stock rom?
What were some of the things you were doing before this problem started?
The more info the better
No I got ics rom on it and it hasn't worked since I rooted the phone mate I think its got somfin to do with the phone having its own internal and external SD cards I don't know if I can removed external SD card myself but I doubt its just like a normal SD card

If you're running cm9, ur external sd card is at mnt/emmc. If you were to put to mnt/sdcard/externalsd/, you are simply placing ur files to internal sd.

Backup all your data on a computer any try to reformat the card. Try to do a full format rather than quick format as the full format can help fix some damaged partitions.

Use the card reader and do a defrag. Our sdcards sometimes get fragmented.

Yes I know its because your card has some errors on it probably some corrupt file but just try to defragment or run scan disk or reformat and copy back your files.

How to install games on internal sd?

Hi, I have the CM7 room (temasek) installed on my phone. I would like to know how I can install games date on internal SD? Because all the games which I install go to external SD.
Settings > CM Settings > Application > Check Use Internal Storage, reboot...

Thanks, but all the games which I have instaled on external SD won't work more. There's no way to put some games on sd internal and external in others?

You can find their storage folder and move that.
You can also use GL to SD app to bind folder paths.

Thanks. I used this app when I used the stock room. Not exist no form to choose the SD which I want install?
No.
Normaly Android has only Phone memory and SDcard.
But our phone is equiped with addidtional SD (if you insert it).
But now you can choose what sd you can use and have 2 ways:
Bind path or change mount points.
Cheers

SD card blank or has unsupported filesystem

Hie. I have just upgraded my Lg Thrill 4G to Stock ICS. I have notied am now failing to access my SD card. The error says 'SD card blank or has unsupported file system. If i install the custom ICS on the same phone, its able to read the same SD card. I know there is nothing wrong with the card as custom ICS and other phones can read it. What could it be? Please help
Settings > storage > erase internal memory
Won't affect your external SD but take it out first if you're worried.

[Q] Mounting external SD inside internal SD

Hi,
I have some apps which only can see internal storage on my phone, so I thought I could somehow link the external into the internal. The 'ln' command fails because of different file systems. Next, I tried using 'mount' binding, but it just says "invalid argument".
Any suggestions?
I just found this awesome free app: http://www.devasque.com/foldermount/
Works like a charm!
Root required
