After testing some cases out there in the market there are 3 problems with alluminium cases for smartphones (in my opinion makes them not an option for me)
a) They are heavy. In a 140g phone like the XZ, you will notice the added weight of the alumiun, a lot.
b) They sometimes scratch the phone if you are not careful, especialy on the XZ that has the very poor shatter sheet "protecting" the glass on the back
c) They add way too much bulk to a phone like the xZ wich is only 7.9mm
TLDR: Alluminium cases for XZ are not worth it (imho)

Oh..guess have to pass it..God they look so cool!!

DevilCase looks cool, but very expensive and there are no reviews.

They look great, Not to bulky like it was previously mentioned. Yes, they do add size, but it looks good. That particular case, slide in very easily, and the give the phone appearance. Down side to all aluminum cases, they mess with the signal a little. Nothing major, but its passable. good Good case. I have 3 of them.

Ya, just wanna see if anyone bought it.

Who can be the first one to buy it? Can't find any review of it

I had a metal bumper, but with the bumper the connection is very bad.

I bought the WIT Inc metal bumper off of amazon. It was really nice at first, but quickly lost its appeal. The fit was loose. It would rattle and annoy me after a day or so. And here's the kicker, I actually had a full Skinomi skin on it. Front, back, and all sides...and that thing was still loose. As for finish, well it was beautiful. But form before function is not for me. Lastly the smooth metal edges made my phone want to slide off of anything but a perfectly flat surface. Sounds silly but you would be amazed how easily it starts moving. Arm of my recliner, dash of car, and where.

Thanks for stopping me from buy and try metal bumpers.
You save my money.

Bumpers are great. Metal is nice and classy. But the two don't mix. Get a nice plastic/ TPU bumper. Right now I'm using docks a lot so I'm going almost all natural with a skin applied and have no problem. I've always been an otter box guy accepting this is difficult. Going out in the world with a phone that's not in a case makes me feel like I'm trying to sneak through a cactus field naked.

Skinomi TechSkin Anyone?

Hi!
I'm looking for a protective skin for my Xperia. I bought SGP Shield but i don't like the body protection because there are a lot of spaces between the panels, and the phone may scratch easily in some places (specialy the chromed parts).
Did anyone installed the Skinomi TechSkin? In their pic it seems that it will cover better the phone without any space left uncovered.
Skinomi: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/images/B002L9FDPK/ref=dp_image_0?ie=UTF8&n=301185&s=wireless
SGP: http://mojel98.cafe24.com/eb-allcra...son_xperia_x1_incredible_shield2_contents.gif
The screen protector from SGP is impressive. I like it.
Thanks in advance!
I don't have it, but please post if you get it. I would like something that covers just the chrome, as that seems to be the most delicate part of the phone, and covering it won't affect the aluminum feel of the phone.
Let us know how the TechSkin fares!
If it's the same one that I have, then it is the best screen protector out there. Reason I'm not sure if it's the same as mine is because it was advertized differently when i got it. On ebay it was called the clear protector for xperia without the brand name you mentioned. The only similarity between the two is the fact that the skin cuts are exactly the same. because my phone is covered in all the areas and the one you posted matches that. if they mention that the protector material is the same stuff they use to line helicopter propellers, then it's the same stuff and i would highly recommend them.
Thank you! I have ordered this product. I'll post when it arrives over 3-4 weeks, and tell you what I think about it.
Cheers!

Yup, same one: Skinomi
I'm interested in the full skinned body to protect my X1, but I'm not too sure because I'm afraid of how it will end up looking. I saw a Fuze with it and if you looked closely, you could see clearly the skin lines on the sides. Is there any possibility that you could post some close up pics as to know how it looks like?
Thanks in advance!
Oh! And hows is the feel to it with the skin? Is it too glossy that the original fuze?
Thanks!!
Sorry I'm replying so late.
Well, I removed the skin from my X1 (I'm planning on buying the black housing since I have silver), so all that's on it is the screen and the battery cover. I can say confidently that it feels great. If your hands are moist, you can slide your fingers across it. Same goes for if your hands are dry. It doesn't feel cheap. And it won't stick to the sides in your pocket, you can pull it out smoothly with no trouble. If I ever get around to posting a pic, I'll do so. Cosmetically, you can't really tell it's there from a glance. Up close you can see it, but it's not all too different from an X1 without it.

Skinomi installed and not worth of it
Its true that its improve the protection but lacks of stay on phone, its separates more day after day from the surface of the x1 if you puts the x1 inside a cover or in a pouch without mention the risk that you have to "WET" the skinomi to apply in on the phone! i had to get a hairdrier with me LOL. I not recommend this.

Matte battery cover?

Hi guys,
I've seen the DIY project which is a pretty decent looking alternative but I was wondering if anyone has seen an actual Matte Battery Door yet? It'd be cool to have one like the Epic 4G's which still said Google on the back. (I think the Google looks oddly classy )
My searches have come up kinda empty so thought I'd ask.
Mini rant.... WHY?! WHY???! Is the back cover so prone to scratches.. it been only a week and a half or so and already I've seen scratches developing, in fact another happened just today.. it's really the one and only thing I don't like about it.. not sure what they were thinking..
Well if anybody has seen alternatives please let me know!
Thanks!
There is the Invisible shield Dry which is a matte back protector for it. It looks pretty sleek.

you can get the invisibleshield dry from any of the sprint stores-- it's all they carry.
if you get the invisibleshield from ZAGG, they send the "wet" version, which is the cover everyone's used to.
the dry version is matte, and thinner, and doesn't use spray/sponge/liquid. it's not as "tacky" or sticky as the wet version, and you can still clearly see the google/samsung logo.
just be real sure to follow the instructions, squeegee from the center out, and give it a couple of days to fully cure. i saw a bunch of micro bubbles and what look like flaws after applications, and it looked like the dry shield didn't fully seal around the tiny dots on the cover, but after a couple of days it was perfectly sealed in. don't squeegee too hard, especially around the curves. it'll stick, and give it a day or two.
pretty happy with it, and it comes with the regular clear/tacky/sticky front shield, too, which is also applied dry. i found the squeegee to be a bit too stiff, and it's easy to dent and stretch the shield when squeegeeing it out.
ZAGG says to keep the device off, cuz the heat or something will affect curing. i just left mine on after application, and everything is perfect. there's orange peel, but it's minimal. no problems with touch sensitivity, and if anything i think it's better because fingerprints and oil don't show up.
i wonder if it's even worth shielding the front, though. i have an old blackberry that had nothing on it, and the screen i think is plastic, and i treated it like crap. no scratches.
but yeah, just go to a sprint store. they have em. best buy around here only sells the front shield. i prefer the dry matte back because it's thinner, and still does a good job.
fyi: ZAGG's guarantee and return policy are top notch. registering on their site is simple, and they'll ship out a replacement pretty quickly, and you just mail back your old shield as proof. they don't care what condition it's in. before i just ripped off an old shield and slapped it on a piece of paper.

So the Nexus S still doesn't have any third party back covers or battery doors? I can't stand the shiny plastic back. All I see on ebay are oem battery doors that are the same thing. Don't want to use a sticker/shield or dip.

Correct.
The white version of the Nexus S actually has a very nice textured back on it. I wanted the white color to begin with but after seeing (and feeling) the difference between the backplate on the black version versus the white version, I much prefer the white one. The black one has no grip to it and, like the OP said, it scratches way too easily.
Yeah I thought about the zagg body shield but they unfortunately only had the screen. I decided to grab the wet one instead and I've never had better luck applying a screen protector.. heh the "wetness" really makes it easy to get the bubbles out and it cures awesome.
As for the battery cover.. it's already got a few scratches, but on top of that in the lower left corner it doesn't seem to snap in very securely, even in general use when tapping on the lower left part of the phone you can feel the battery door.. "click" a little bit as if its not latched properly, it makes a audible click sound as well.
I resolved this issue by putting a very thin strip of scotch tape on the inside of the door along the edge which produces just enough pressure to keep the clicking from happening and it feels more secure. (No you can't see it )
SO I'll probably just buy a new battery door eventually and use a body shield.. hopefully the new one will latch a bit more securely as well. It's not a big big deal, and the DIY fix by me is definitely just me nitpicking the tiny click feeling but still.. I think Samsung makes good products most of the time but they really should step up the build quality a little bit.
Thanks for the suggestions though guys
Actually I think I'm going to try the plasti dip on the existing cover to.. I could see that helping the latch as well because it would be just the tiniest bit thicker it would seem.

Review gray aluminium bumper + pictures

Very good, if not best case I ever owned of this type. Very smooth edges, a lot of small details, grainy feeling comparable to a macbook.
Gray fits perfectly titanium gray note 2.
Additional buttons work like a charm with a good travel and subtle click.
Adds 1,5-2 mm of thickness and 3mm of height and width to the device, 15 grams gain is imperceptible.
No antenna radio or NFC issues.
The phone wiggles a very very small bit inside of it but you can tuck it to perfection by just adding a little more adesive spacer tape (than what it's delivered with) to the inside of the bumper.
Looks quite nice, i like the idea of having a heavy metal band around the phone.
Makes the phone look even sturdier and stronger.
I´d be glad if you could answer a few questions about it.
Do the buttons have a "clicky" feeling when you press them?
And how easily does the bumper´s front part slide into place and accordingly goes off when you want to remove the case? Does it rattle when the bumper is on the phone i.e. is the sliding mechanism firm when closed?
And finally, could you link us to the page where you´ve bought this piece?
Thank you
Looks like this one off fleabay...

Yes there is a subtle clicking sound that is very nice to know if you actually pressed it right.
It slides very well and won't scratch if you clean off the dust before removing or putting the case, but as I said you may want to add one or two rubber bands over the one who are already inside so that the phone doesnt move at all.
I ordered the same one off eBay and I hope you don't mind me putting in my two cents.
The adhesive tape on the inside was actually more than enough for me. If anything I had to push down on the phone so the front would slide over the screen. That being said mine fit perfectly. So much so that I probably wouldn't have it on without a screen protector on. The part that slides over the phone is bare aluminum. But I guess the fit of it is going to vary, especially considering it's easiest to find on eBay.
The buttons on the case IMO improve the feeling of the volume and power buttons. There is a very satisfying click when pressed.
The size of it is a tiny bit more than I'd like. I don't think most people would mind but I'm ultra minimalist; I'm now just using a BodyGuardz skin. But probably the best thing about this bumper is that it keeps the front and back of the phone off of surfaces. Even more importantly the back is spaced perfectly enough that even the "bump" of the camera is elevated.
The hole cutouts are all there for mics, USB, and headphone. The main issue I'm having is the headphone jack hole is a bit too small for some of my headphones/speakers. Other than that they're all machined perfectly. The sides are extremely flat and smooth so if the phone is lying on a table it can sometimes be a little difficult to pick up.
A lot can be said of the sturdiness of this case. I have NO doubt that it will protect the edges of the phone. Even without the phone inside the case it resists bending and twisting even with a fair bit of force.
Sorry if I hijacked your thread a little bit xp
Thats a weapon!

Just received mine in the mail that I ordered from ebay. Initial thoughts...it does add a little bulk (to be expected) but overall VERY happy with the bumper. No noticeable difference in signal and it feels very sturdy in hand like it could take several drops without damaging the phone. Also the buttons have a clicky feel like the OP stated and it just enhances the bumper even more IMO.
No issues with any of the cutouts but will say that the s-pen cutout feels awkward. I can pull the pen out fine but putting it back in is the awkward part. Because of the cutout, I have to use my thumbnail to make sure it feels like the pen is completely attached again.
I'll post some pictures later but overall satisfied with the case. Here's the link to the one I bought..... ebay bumper. I bought my for $17.98 including shipping but noticed that the seller immediately raised the exact same bumper to $67.98 after I bought mine.

Looks pretty sweet i'm starting to feel jealous of that grey phone (got it in white) I'm thinking of buying one but i'm not sure if it will protect the phone, my biggest concern is the screen not cracking
Do you guys think it will survive a few falls?
I'm rocking a black aluminum on a white phone and it looks pretty sexy. I do think that it would protect against a fall or two. Same coverage as a TPU case just the back is exposed. I figure that I can get a replacement back cover if needed.

I have a silver one I don't need. It felt good but like the other poster kind of bulky for my tastes. Anyone want it pm me.
I have this in silver for my white Note and I love it. I have no wiggle. The only comment I'd have is that the headphone hole isn't big enough for most headphone jacks. The jack on the headphones that come with the phone works, but almost all others don't. Thinking about taking a drill bit to it. I've dropped it twice from about 2 feet, no scratches or problems.
I will say that it doesn't help the phone be more easily held (doesn't put any texture on the back) but then again it's nice that it's easy to get out of the pocket...

Three words....Heavy as f**k. I've got one, you don't realise till you take it out, and yes, the little weight on the bumper is a lot when you compare with/without it on. I'm still sing it though, saved my phone about 10+ times in the last month.

Looking for a "grippy" protective case with non slip back

I'm looking for a protective case for my Note 2 that has a grippy/hard rubber feel that doesn't slide around when I lay it down on it's back. I have an Otterbox commuter but the back is hard plastic and slides around a lot if I lay it down unless I flip it over. My wife has an Iphone and her otterbox has a very grippy rubbery feel that is non slip. I wish their Note 2 cases were like that. I'm looking at the Griffin Survivor case and was wondering if anyone has any other recommendations before I try it out? Thanks!

This case has been discussed by many on this forum and it has good reviews. It is definitely protective and grippy. You can even tell from the back rubbery design. Do you know if the back is hard plastic or a softer rubber feel on the first one? I need it to stay put on a flat surface as I move around at work. The Commuter slides all over the place, which I cannot have. It will "stick" if I turn it over because of the rubber edges, but I need the phone to be face up/hands free. Thanks again for your suggestions.

From all the reviews and things I have heard about it, it seems to be in the middle. A hard rubber. So it's good for shock absorption. Definitely not a soft rubber because that would wear out very easily. However, from what everyone in the forums have said and from the amazon reviews, it seems like it will stay in place without issue. Also, it's only $10 and from amazon. If you don't like it, you can ship it back the same day for a full refund without any cost to you. Just keep the original box/packaging.
Here's a quote from someone who has it: "The back part of the case (the black exterior) feels more like silicone than plastic which gives it a nice look and grip. I have dropped my phone once on this case and I have to say that this case does a very good job on absorbing impact."

It's a hard plastic exo with a softer plastic inner. I have this case and it will not hold in place on a hard flat surface. Mine will not even "stick" when placed screen down. The kickstand is about a 4/10 (flimsy, too easily collapsed etc)
Also, the buttons, imo, are junk. Last night, after I started using this case again after owning it for ~6 months (used for 2 weeks), I took a razor blade to the buttons. Couldn't stand them being so difficult to press.
However, the drop protection is definitely up to the same level as the commuter, for being such a cheap case.
I'd say it's worth the price, maybe even less.
Also, I have a similar six abundant case that was free. And although it's very nice, and my most used case, it offers very little protection, and definitely not "grippy" on surfaces.
Wish I had some suggestions. The Griffin Sur. looks grippy. If you search the forum here there are a few people that bought one and commented on the quality. I believe they don't officially support it.. So it's actually a knockoff.
Edit2: forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2174889 has info for the knockoff griffin. Enjoy.

Enjoy.

Thanks for the input, bro. That's rather unfortunate. I guess other sources don't have the best description then.
Have you looked into the body glove case? That looks pretty nice and there is a lot of discussion recently on it in the Post Your Pics of Your Phone thread. Check it out.

Definitely bro, maybe others will chime in with different opinions about it.
I was actually just revisiting the idea of the body glove refined gel case (been subbed to that thread for forever). I remember it being a very popular case earlier this year. At one point there was an eBay seller with ~50 of them for $8+free shipping. I should have jumped on it then. I'm just afraid that the lower section of the case (shiny area) will end up scratching easily (read: shiny back mercury case).
Still haven't even gotten around to trying the UAG... Even though I designed and 3D printed some custom inserts.
What case are you rockin?

3d printing?? Dude that's awesome! I saw on geeky gadgets or theawesomer website ad about a 3d real time laser scanner. It was really impressive. Expensive ($1400 I think) but very cool. Right now I'm using my Six Abundant Case. I rotate between that and my white UAG case. The UAG case is worth it for me. It's not super bulky and protects my phone extremely well. I have large hands so I have no problem gripping and using my phone in one hand with either case on. I do have way too many cases at this point. I even have the casemate tough. Totally forgot to mention that. That definitely has a good feel in terms of grip and it is super slim for a fully protective case. Another nice one is the DBA ultra case. I'll most likely be upgrading to the note 3 so I stopped buying more cases, lol.

Yeah! Got into robotics development at my University a few years back and somehow got nominated to be the guy that learns the ins/outs of our 3D printer so that I can teach others everything about it (even the computer science professors). In the printing world, $1400 is fairly cheap for a production item.
I did see the 3D scanner. I believe it is going to be made by Makerbot. We made our own using a Kinect (think: xbox 360) to do real-time scans of objects and roll them into 3D files. However, I usually make one-off prints so I have to build them entirely by hand in a 3D environment.
Agh.. You are making it hard not to press the "complete my order" button for the black uag haha. I too have large hands/long fingers; I often get my iPhone-using-friends asking me how I always use one hand with this beast. If I was a female I'm sure I'd have gained muscle from just using it by now lol.
Forgot about casemate. I'll have to check them out. (have their tough case on my Skyrocket & love it)
I'll most likely be upgrading as well (if not at least a smart watch).. So now seems like a bad time for me to by yet another case.. But.. I have an addiction lol.

That's really nice, bro. I know $1400 is not that expensive when it refers to such technology, but I meant in general - that's like a nice fully loaded laptop price, lol. I'm familiar with Kinect/Xbox360 so yeah, that's really interesting. I'm sure the whole 3D development can take time from scratch. Maybe I missed them, but did you ever post pics of your 3D-rendered cases? I'd love to see how they turned out.
Yes, the Case-Mate Tough is solid. I have the same black one as in this teamvenum review: http://www.teamvenum.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=686
I know you complained about the buttons you eventually cut out of your Sentinel case. This is where the UAG shines. The button design makes it super easy to press the covered buttons. The one thing I love about my UAG case is that I can just toss my phone around onto my bed or the table like whatever without any worry. The shock absorption technology on UAG cases is pretty solid. I even got one for my father's S3 and he loves it (esp since he is accident prone/clumsy with all technology, lol).
Yes, the smart watch upgrade is definitely happening for me as well. I can't wait till they release the Samsung Gear this September. It's definitely going to be a step up from my pebble watch, which I use and wear all the time.
Also, your addiction...I understand all too well, especially being a huge tech fanatic. If you don't have a solid protective/easy to hold case currently and work in an environment where you really need that, I would go for it.

I never printed any cases for my Note 2, just the inserts for the UAG case with lettering and glow in the dark filament etc. I did make four cases for my gf's S3 but in the end she moved to a pink folio wallet case (which would take too much time to make haha). I've since then had two dead SD cards.. So I've lost a lot of pictures (backups are my priority every 24hrs now..). The cases were more of a "wow factor" type of thing. Everywhere we went people asked more about her case than my huge phone lol.. Lead to a lot of explanations of what a 3D printer is.. But After a few times on/off of the case they'd get weak and start to crack at random layers of which the printer printed it (our printer has a resolution of 0.001mm).
Started sanding the area of the Sentinel case today that I hacked out with the razor to make it smoother. Only had about ten minutes with some 1600grit paper, so I got one side pretty smooth!
I wanted to pledge money to the kreyos smart watch but got worried that I'd be stuck with money in the air for it and no item on my wrist until next summer.. The galaxy gear is definitely going to be watched (pun intended)! As long as it stays within $200-300..
As you can tell, it's hard for me to commit to some purchases lol!
To op: I remember seeing some peel & stick grip strips for phones. They were just thin clear gel-type adhesive strips. Been looking for them but can't find the review. Honestly, I'd also like a grippy case..
Edit: found it! www.egrips.com/ check it out.
Thanks for everyone's input...much appreciated. I own the Bodyglove case but I is still harder plastic than I would like. Its a decent case though. I had the Casemate Toughcase for my Note 1 and liked it, very protective as well, but still had a hard plastic outer shell. Maybe I'll research on getting some type of nonslip rubber strips for my Otterbox to see how that works. There are a few cases mentioned here I'll have to take a look at. Thanks again to you all.

Try the DBA Cases Ultra protection cases very good quality and good feel
http://www.dbacases.com/samsung.html
I have the UAG case. I have used the UAG line of cases for all my phones and they are solid. They have the bevel in the front so if it drops face down you wont shatter your screen and it has extra cushion on the corner bumpers. They are only $30 - $35 online. They fit on my OEM samsung dock with spare batttery charger.
The reason why I trust all my phones in the UAG case is that my wife's nephew through my note down the escalator at the mall. My heart stopped as I saw it tumble and bounce off every step. When I went to get it, the phone and case didnt have a scratch on it. The otterboxes are great but they are way too big. Especially for our note.
I am using a cheap eBay tpu. Smoke clear and it is rubber. It works great and protects just fine. Best of all it was only a buck and a half! Rubber does a pretty decent job of keeping it from sliding around unless it is on something very slick. keeps good in the hand too

I have the body glove from sprint.
I feel it offers the best for daily use and it has pocketablility which is nice. It doesn't get hung up as it has a glossy surface at the bottom of the phone.

My case trials........

For the verizon model.
First I tried the Incipio Feather. LOVED it. The slim profile, the rubbery grip, the clean look. But, it didn't offer enough protection around the ends or screen edges for me.
Cheapie on ebay as seen here: http://www.ebay.com/itm/for-LG-G2-V...DA_Cases&var=580258822391&hash=item4179df7db7 This one was actually surprisingly nice and one I'd used for the past 3 weeks. But....the white discolored insanely fast, it turned orange from just skin oils and such. Plus getting the top piece off if you need to remove the phone for some reason is nearly impossible without cracking it.
Enter the Incipio Dual Pro. Ding ding ding we have a winner. This thing is perfect IMO. Just enough rubber liner to cover the entire phone, and the combination around the edge of the phone screen is thin and not bulky yet plenty to offer great protection. Really really great case IMO. Think I'm done searching at this point.
Thanks! I just ordered the incipio dual pro. I was using the quick window case but I slowly began to dislike it.

Do a face drop test and let me know how it turns out. Dropped mine a few times and phone is perfect in my ballistic sg maxx. I wanted another case, one for work and one for outtings. Does it come with a holster?

The AT&T version of the DualPro is rather thin: I wouldn't have felt comfortable dropping it in that case - it didn't feel much more substantial than the Feather. nor does it have much lip to protect the front. And the AT&T one didn't come with a holster; I don't see one listed on the Incipio site for the Verizon version, so I feel confident saying that it doesn't.
Not going to drop it on it's face for no good reason. Anything can happen and I'd rather not take that risk intentionally.
The lip is rather thin, the case isn't that thick, but I don't plan to be dropping it off a balcony either. I wanted a slim profile but full coverage case for the short drops, bumps and scrapes protection. If I was truly worried about a LONG drop with screen shattering potential, then I'd definitely have considered a larger case for sure. But for my needs, the DualPro was perfect.
And it's definitely a verizon version.

I have owned both the case and phone for about 2 months. Got the case for the same reasons as Fastbird. I can also confirms the cases durability.Used by 3, 5, and 9 yo and a clumsy owner. It has been dropped on tile, hardwood, concrete including face down and both case and phone are holding up with not scratches or damage.
Great case but don't get the white one... It will turn orange just like your other one!

Nope, got black/black. Going to eventually Di-Noc in white the hard piece and see if I can wrap it tight enough around the edges to not cause installation issues, but fine with the dual black right now.
Well, mine just got a face down drop on to the wood floor from about 3 feet up, courtesy of my son who knocked if off the shelf I had it on. It's fine I'm happy to report!
Ok, for those of you who wanted a drop test, my phone got one today. From about 7 feet off the ground. I was at work at my plant, had my phone on top of my lunch bag on top of a large metal computer station next to our break area. Someone called me and the phone vibrated it's way down the bag and off the top of the work station, and according to a co-worker who was sitting there, it smacked off the corner of the keyboard drawer that was open on the way down.
I figured it fell when I walked up and saw my lunch bag half flat (it was empty, one of those soft cooler bags), and I feared the worst because it was straight down to cement.
Both the phone and Incipio Dual Pro case are absolutely unscathed. I'm sold.
so i got the Incipio hybrid one, the one you guys are talking about it, and it fell on its face.. noo problem.
i love the case but it fell off from my desk the other day and it cracked from a corner towards the buttons
honestly that's all that was, hope it'll take more accidental beatings and survive.
i really dig the case regardless.. just don't chuck it.
May I make a suggestion I hate plastic or Rubber and I love Leather and glass. For work I need to look great (I need to look money lol) and I found this company Verus from South Korea and then I found they had cases on eBay. Pros: all leather, Holds my ID and Credit Card and very well made, like VERY well made. Cons: took 3 weeks to get it.
Anyway I bought the Black and red leather one to match my watch and bought a black tempered glass screen protector they look Awesome
http://http://www.ebay.com/itm/VERUS-Damda-Cucito-J-genuine-leather-case-cover-card-slot-for-LG-Optimus-G2-GII-/321295129883?pt=US_Cell_Phone_PDA_Cases&var=&hash=item4aceae9d1b
Hey can you post a photo or two of the Verus case that you got?
I was looking at ordering it, but was not sure if the edges came up to protect the screen if the screen is flat on a table?
thank you
