I used the SIM Unlock via API just to know how to do it. Didn't mess with any setting by dialing *#*#4636#*#*.
Now, I have no roaming settings under Mobile Network Options and am seeing "Sheldon Mobile" as a 4G GSM Provider and also instead of "Sprint" I'm seeing "Sheldon Mobi" in the top right while placing a call. Tries multiple sense ROMs and even an RUU to still see the same thing.
Any ideas? I use Modaco Toolkit to change the lock screen text, maybe that has something to do with it.

Bump.
On the Rich Man's HTC, sipping moonshine.
Did you try ##786# click menu and then reset? It resets network logistics back to factory.
Also, think if mode is set to automatic, that roaming settings are disabled.
Sent from Taptalk on HTC One on some awesome custom Rom!

Okay, that got rid of the Sheldon Mobi in the call screen and under available gsm networks.
Still don't understand where the Domestic voice roaming, domestic data roaming and other settings went.
Maybe something is messed up within the settings app itself?

Not sure I never used that SIM Unlock tool. But maybe since you are in GSM mode, there is no Roaming options. DEV's for the CDMA ROM's add that feature.

I SIM Unlocked another HTC ONE I owned and the roaming settings remained, not sure what could have caused it here...
I've RUU'd and tried a Stock Rooted ROM as well and those don't fix it either...

I am having some fairly significant signal issues with my Galaxy S. At home on my iPhone I can get almost full bars if placed beside a window. On the Galaxy S I am lucky if I get 1 bar. I have also caught the phone sitting at 3-4 bars but try and make a call and you get no data network.
Any ideas? I have tried 2.1 Vodafone that it came with and a froyo ROM both the same results.

Either you do not have the network connections set up APN etc
Wireless and Network settings .
It may be worth a Factory Restore .
You may have network switched off so double check your networks settings under Access Settings .
Or it wants returning to the vendor broken hardware .

Under APN I have
Orange MMS
Orange Internet
Service Centre then if you think its all set up correct .

In your first post you say you have 2.1 Vodafone, yet your settings are for Orange.
You need to set up your phone to the same network as your Sim.
If I have misread your post, I'm sorry.

I have been using an app the last few days that has really helped me at work. Where I work, I get very poor LTE signal. It constantly struggles to connect and frequently drops to 3G before reconnecting to LTE. This not only sucks when trying to maintain a consistent data connection, but also drains the battery faster. I’ve been using an app I found on the Play Store called Network Mode and changing the preferred network type to “TD-SCDMA, GSM/WCDMA, CDMA, and EVDO” while at work. By taking LTE out of the equation, I get a consistent 3G data connection and it has also improved my battery life. I change the network type when I get to work, and change it back before I leave. Anyway, just thought I would throw this out there in case there are others who are in the same boat.
Also, if anyone figures out a way to automate that process (with Tasker or something) let me know.

I'm sure you can change from 4G to 3G in settings of phone. That's what I did because I can't get 4G in UK so I changed to 3G settings. Moto Maxx.

That may be true on Moto Maxx. Unfortunately that is not an option on Verizon Droid Turbo.

Soo I'm stuck I came from a note 3 and never had a problem. I have enhanced LTE checked. I flashed the Verizon radio, and ive tested on euphoria/benzo/etc no luck. I need data when IN a call what can I do?5m I can flashback to stock and call Verizon help I will pay someone money to get a successful resolution.
Did you activate it on the Verizon site? I did that right after I got my sim in yesterday and when I went into the enhanced menu to turn it on it was already on.
"In order to enable the setting on your phone, head into the dialer and type in *#*#4636#*#*. When you hit that last *, your phone will jump into the hidden settings menu. Choose “Phone info” and then scroll down until you see an option for “TURN ON VOLTE PROVISIONED FLAG.” Tap that and then reboot your phone (I had to reboot twice for some reason to get it to work). Once booted, head into your phone’s regular settings menu, tap on “More” under “Wireless & networks,” then “Cellular networks.” You should now see an option for “Enhanced 4G LTE Mode” and it should be toggled on."
Enhanced LTE is already under cellular network and when I dial *#*#4636#*#* i see the option remove volte provisioning flag tap it and nothing happened

If it says Remove, its enabled so it should be working. That doesn't make sense unless you're not on LTE when you're trying to use it?
Anyone got Stock Verizon rom
Mine says LTE when I make a call the lte vanishef
You turned it on via your account right?

P.S. only visible if wifi is off

The icon indicates that your phone is using SIM 2 for Mobile data. If you disable auto data switching, it'll go back to using SIM 1 for Mobile data provided you've selected it as the preferred SIM in settings.
Well... Not... default data is SIM2 always, no matter of this setting.
It seems that that one appears because 1st SIM is using data from 2nd one for "data calling". Thought this would happen only if no carrier signal but it seems not. Saying this because noticed the lockscreen network info saying something with using the other line data for calls... Could catch it because...Now it disappeared completely and all back to normal...
Think I figured it out. It looks indeed to be an indicator that line 1 works through data connection of line 2 (via WiFi calling method). I forced today line one to be out of coverage (tried manual registering to another network) and now, when there is no coverage, the sign mentioned in first post is back.
So looks like for whatever reason the other day I was out of coverage for sim 1. Weird though, considering both sim are same operator.
You can see in the attach it says it uses back up data

Do you still have this phone? Any chance you can use adb to check what setting is changed when the "Auto Data switching" toggle is switched on and off?
Hey i have a factory unlocked at&t sm n960u using straight talk at&t sim. The issue is that i have no volte settings and can no longer make and receive calls due to the decommissioning of the 3g towers. How can i get the provisioning turned off?

Were the inverted triangle is above the toggle on switch. Punch it for the drop down menu.
Select the correct value as shown.

I changed it to the settings and restarted phone and still provisioned.
Clear Sim Toolkit data
Network reset and clear system cache.
AT&T may need to do a reset on their end.
That's all I got.

I don't know. The Note 10+'s I have were already configured for VoLTE when I got them as they ran on VoLTE from the start. Never really thought about it until talk of the shutdown started.
If you have AT&T tech support call advanced tech support; some of then know what they're doing.
Check your Access point settings too.
AT&T APN settings
On my AT&T NXTGENPHONE profile I found that instead of "hipri" (high priority) it had "fota" (Firmware Over-The-Air) which I don't want.
So I created a new profile and tested it. Instant download speed increase it seems... still testing.
APN typedefault,mms,supl,hipri
My original profile was set as IPv4/IPv6, which I used on my new profile instead of the AT&T suggested IPv4 only.
APN protocolIPv4
If you do this create a new profile with a different name so you can retain your original one too.
Don't forget to fill in any relevant spaces on the new and leave the blank ones blank unless you know better.

Have your carrier do a reset on their end.
