Hey all, so I was installing HD revolution which is compatible with the T mobile version. I installed it before and had no problems. Went to install the updated version today and did and at the end it says root may be lost and asked to fix it. I said yes. Now the phone is in a boot loop. It goes to the HTC "quietly brillant" screen and has the this build is for developmental purposes at the bottom and what not and then reboots to the same screen but says entering recovery at the top then the screen turns black and it flashes a glimpse of CWM then restarts the process over and over. I tried to boot into recovery and what not through the toolkit but USB debugging isn't available. Please help I have no idea what to do.
EDIT- I can get into the boot loader but I've never done anything with adb or fastboot or anything like that so hopefully there is a way to fix it with this?
Also in the bootloader above "unlocked" It says "tampered", not sure if that means anything.

Download the mini sdk file from that post. Use the instructions there to access fastboot. Then use the command "fastboot erase cache"
Should fix your recovery issue and then reflash the Android Revolution ROM.

Thanks man you're awesome. It worked.
my one is dev 64g ver(ver1.29.1540.3),last fri after i flashed the "http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2215165",my one stayed splash screen(HTC logo),and then i flashed the boot.img again,it stayed the screen as before.i wiped my mobile then.now my one don't enter the system, display the splash screen, but it can fastboot model,i try mounting sdcard or mounting date under REC,it display error,it don't success to use OTG install zip(include offical ROM),and the offical RUU can't flash the mobile through my PC.
who can help me? (my REC is TWRP2.5.0.0) millions of thanks!
First off wrong section, this belongs in Q&A
To answer your question, try adb sideloading a rom. In TWRP I believe it's in advanced settings. Basically you just download a rom to your PC and use the command "adb sideload" to load it up and flash.
If you need any more help let me know

which thread?? what do you mean by this?
Flash back your original hboot, or the ge one if you didn't back up
I hate to say if you don't know how to change back then you don't need to mess with the eng hboot, it's only for developmental purposes.

please provide some details.. how do i flash the stock hboot?? its only booting into fastboot mode and when i type fastboot oem rebootRUU to flash the hboot it goes to a black screen (no htc logo) and no fastboot says waiting for devices
See this thread:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2316726
In Post 2 you will see downloads for stock hboot. The ENG hboot might not display the HTC logo in RUU mode. Just follow normal process and try to flash the stock hboot back.
Try fastboot reboot recovery

yes , im able to go on fastboot, there seems to be no operating system in the phone.
the phone is blank, I get a message when on the bootloader that there is no image or can not access it.
thank you for your assistance.
Rico
Try to flash a custom recovery and after that, clear the fastboot cache running:
fastboot clear cache
Then you should be able to side load a rom
here is all comand to install new recovery
fastboot erase recovery
fastboot erase cache
fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
after that you can install any custom rom for 802w or restore any recovery backup
here is all you need

I tried everything there is always some error.. 1) the bootloader gets a system error saying file image is wrong. what else can i do ?
Criszz, thank for the suggestion i had a freind over and we tried the same still not working.
The problem may be that we have the wrong files for the phone: the bootloader boot up screen says:
m7c Dug pvt ship s-on rh
hboot -2.23.000
Radio -u2.45.3501.18
open dsp -v28.128.272.0328
qsc
os 1.12.1402.2
emmc - boot 2048mb
may 29 2013,13:06:19.0
thanks pls let me know what you think i should do next.. thanks ..
I got the phone working again... A friend did something don't know what.. Thanks for all the help..

My friend, i met the same case with you. Could you kindly help me to find a solution which works for you?
Brs
I'm sorry the person I know he is on a holiday.. Have you tried the factory reboot if that's not working then just do a nanoandroid reset.. Best.. If that's not working take it to the HTC service center and they will reset it for you for a small fee. I'm sorry I don't know what else to suggest....
