Hi, after test for some times, i made the flashable root package for 2.3.4 (That the device has flash the leaked HKTW 2.3.4 and unlocked the device)
NOTE:
Unlocked Atrix 4G with HKTW 2.3.4
Please flash the CWM recovery first: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1138541
You should have a external sd card in your device, because the recovery cann't recognize the internal card
DOWNLOAD:
PLEASE download from the attachment, I'm really sorry that my site was down.
I think all of you know how to flash zip from recovery, so I'll not give hint about this, LOL

You can flash the official sbf file to restore to origin, like the 1.2.6 sbf

Yeah I think alot of people make that mistake. That's why when people ask I always say make sure to grab the "full" sbf not the service!
Thanks for the zip root method! Much appreciated!
Uses this and trying to flash with the newest CW build that is available with no avail.
Keeps being unable to mount SDcard ...
Will have to try the other way to do this for now but thank you for the work.
Worked perfect. Thanks

i HATE when pple leave out basic info, i got school work, i cant remember EVERYTHING EVERYTIME.
Hey, so, I ran into a slight problem.. It doesnt actually root the phone... Or so I've found. What happened to me is it worked perfectly, flashed via new cwm nicely, and I had SU in app drawer. I then decided to try and restore my apps via TB, and it doesnt let me batch anything, see anything, etc. It's like I don't have root. Then I tried getting root explorer and it FC's on opening the app. WTF?

This is because you didn't read my post carefully. You should have a EXTERNAL SDCARD in your device first! Because the recovery cann't mount the internal sdcard.

There is another way to check whether the root of your device work or not.
Run cmd in Windows or terminal in Linux.
execute the following cmd:
Code:
adb shell
su -
After you input the "su -" cmd, you should have a dialog to allow root access in your device. I.e, the root works. Otherwise, it doesn't work.
BTW, does your device unlocked and flash the HKTW android 2.3.4 rom?

TOO bad, the zip file should be flashed as the normal way to flash rom.
GOTO recovery then choose this zip file to flash.
BTW, you should copy the zip file to the external sdcard first!

Fun!
I unlocked my bootloader and everything was fine. Then I installed CM10.1.2 and it loads to the initial Welcome screen (where you select country) but the touch doesn't work at all. The volume and power button works but I can't tap anything.
Also no softbutton shows.
I also tried flashing CM10.1.0 and the latest FXP rom.
If anyone helps solve this it would be so appreciated.
Sounds like you flashed the wrong version for your phone.
Which phone do you have and which cm dud you flash

I have an Xperia T and I flashed CM Mint.
ok, try flashing a stock ftf in flashtool to see if touch screen comes back.
If that works redownload the cm mint .zip and try flashing it again.
Let me know how you get on

Okay trying to find an appropriate stock ftf, or does it not really matter?
Like if I had a central european unbranded one or something on my UK Orange phone?

I flashed yours onto my phone and it loads up but the same problem happens The touchscreen still doesn't work.
I saw this earlier before heading to work: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=39920703&postcount=11
But when I adb shell I don't get a [email protected] I have some garbled text. Basic commands like ls work. su is not found though, neither is the rmi4_fwloader command found. But then adb devices showed it in "recovery" mode not "device". Though on this computer adb devices shows nothing but fastboot does. Did flashing the stock rom relock it?
Thanks

That postwas my next piece of advice to you...
ok, have you unlocked your bootloader? Have you rooted the new firmware? Use bin4ry or doomlords rooting method to root the firware and try again.
also, you can use a USBOTG cable and a mouse to control the phone instead of the touchscreen

The bootloader was still unlocked after putting your firmware on.
Is there a way of enabling usb debug mode outside of the phone? I'm guessing that's what's needed to get adb shell to work.
Woohoo! Progress! Still broken, but progress!!!!
I installed PdaNet and it made adb drivers work. Then I did adb shell from recovery.
This part is important:
The path is messed up on my phone so if anyone has trouble with that method for similar reasons would have to do the same:
Code:
/sbin/su
/system/bin/rmi4_fwloader -b /system/etc/firmware/touch_module_id_0x32.img -d /sys/bus/rmi4/devices/sensor00 -r -f
(echo $PATH is /sbin/ but for some reason su doesn't work without /sbin/. if /sbin/su doesn't work what I actually did was cd /sbin then su)
(It is important to run /system/bin/rmi4_fwloader because it simply can't find rmi4_fwloader, even if you cd /system/bin/)
Now my touch works! I just have no software buttons
Any idea how to get my.. nevermind, after going through the startup bit they just appeared.
Thank you you are a genius!
No problem, Glad its sorted for you now.
Can someone upload the Framework-res please. I soft bricked mine and need one to get it running.

Just went to pull that for you but realized im not rooted right now. Planning on rooting again soon if you still need it later message me
Thanks!,
I just realized I have a bigger problem now anyways, ADB says device is offline which means I could not push it anyways.
Looking for other options now.

yes, I took the MJ5 update, so MI9 is not an option,
I modified the framework-res which caused a soft brick, however I must not had turned on debugging in dev options prior to doing so, so I cannot use adb to push anything as it sees the device but is offline.
I could sideload an update.zip in recovery it has to be signed or else it would fail...
Any suggestions?
Are you booting at all and getting fcs or no boot what so ever?
I'm currently rooted and am running only Xposed Mods with a few root apps. How can I unroot my phone and get the stock recovery back onto my Moto X so that I can take OTA's again without wiping all of my data? What files do I need to download/flash and how do I do it? I've searched around, but it just got me even more confused.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe that flashing the stock system will remove all the changes you've made with root/xposed modules, and flashing the stock recovery should essentially get rid of root (I think).
I don't know precisely where to get all the files, but if you find them around, you can push them using ADB.
If you're like me and are okay with losing everything on the phone, go ahead and use RSDLite (it requires ADB). It's easy-ish to use, and there's even a video tutorial that covers everything after installation of all the files.
You need to use fastboot to push system.img and recovery.img from the version of the OS you're currently running. See here for a list of OS images:

See this thread for a link to a fastboot.exe that'll work:

You need to install the Android SDK and the platform tools, then boot your phone into fastboot mode. You need to run a command line to flash the IMGs. It's explained in the links.

I was under the impression that we cannot do a factory reset or we won't get the soak test OTA pushed to our phones. That's what the soak test post said atleast. Something along the lines of "DO NOT FACTORY RESET or you will not receive the OTA"... don't want to quote it directly since I'm under an NDA, but it was something like that. Did I misunderstand? If I use the Moto X toolkit or RSDLite to revert back to stock is that different than a factory reset?

I've got the Android SDK install and ADB is setup. I'm pretty familiar with ADB. I moved the motorola fastboot.exe into platform-tools and I know how to put the phone into fastboot mode. What I don't understand is what I need to do once I've got the system.img file and the recovery.img file. I'm still reading all of the links so I might not have gotten to the part where it explains what to do, so forgive me for that.

Right from my third link:
Next, you need to put the phone into "fastboot mode" as described above, also make sure usb debugging is enabled in the developer menu settings. Then download the FW for your phone found (follow what i said in regards to the other persons post below), then unzip that, put the system and recovery image in the same directory that your fastboot and adb is in, then run these commands from the cmd prompt
fastboot flash system system.img
fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
then your done, you can type
fastboot reboot

Yep, just got to that part lol. Having some trouble downloading the VZW file. My current download just stopped with a network error and the website that is hosting the files keeps saying service unavailable and to contact the website administrator. Weird. I'm blaming it on my college's ****ty wireless network.
Edit: Yup, for some reason the wifi at the school decided it need me to input my credentials to re-login for the 6th time today to verify who I am and allow me internet access.
Edit 2: The things I'd do to have a stable connection... Once again, the download failed halfway through because the damn connection at this college sucks. This is infuriating.

Is there anyway you (or someone else) could upload the VZW OTA update file to Google Drive or Dropbox for me? This download is going way to slow to the point where I can't even finish it before my connection craps out. Or can you (or someone else) just upload the system.img and recovery.img files for me?

original ? you can download stock firmwares on developers.google.com/android and below look for nexus factory images.
then follow the fastboot method which is very easy.
Hehe, thank you for your fast answer. I already did that, and I doubt about some codes near the links:

6.0.1 (MOB30O)
6.0.1 (MMB30R)
6.0.1 (MOB30W)

I really don't know what are those codes.

Please help. Thanks.
Execute the commands manually. flash-all.bat is notorious for being flaky. However, why are we stressing here? This is a developer's device and nobody is going to care that you are rooted or that you are running a custom ROM. In short, I have yet to hear of anyone being refused warranty service because of an unlocked bootloader and custom ROM.

Download FASTBOOT and ADB ZIP , Install Drivers from 15 seconds ADB installer and then move all the extracted factory images to the fastboot containing folder and double click flash-all.bat and it'll do the job.

I ended up doing it via manual fastboot. My screen phone after being splitting screen for a long time, ended up getting a completly blurry screen. Could not find anyone that happened this same issue. Will have to send the phone to warranty. Thanks
