Tablet just updated to most recent OTA. Stuck with hangouts. Uninstall does not bring back gtalk.
Is there a way to bring it back.

I installed Cynogene 5.0.6 little while ago and was running like a butter until some 3rd party application messed something. The phone is running sticky and restarts itself even during the call.
I want to get my original Google. ROM back with the update feature on.
Place help. My N1 is killing me. Thanks in advance.

I'm having the same problem. Its a real pain seeing as how my phone is my cable. i reinstalled it, but the videos won't play the majority of the time. Help somebody....ANYBODY!!!!

I just fixed this on my d4 after trying to avoid the inevitable.
I did a titanium backup of apps, backed up call logs and texts via sms backup/restore and call log backup.
Then factory reset.
The installed adobe air..
Then installed flash player.
It works

flash works for me. went to newgrounds.com and was asked to install the plugin. it took me to Google Play and it installed and worked. it's weird because i thought Adobe pulled it from Play?

Works poorly for me on both my razr(totally stock ics) and droid 4(mostly stock ics with root). Tried unistalling, reinstalling, and wiping on droid4; it still works funny. /:
I went to titanium backup and froze an app called FlashRemoval after i reinstalled Flash and clicked "uninstall recovery" in Safestrap. Its been working like a charm ever since!

install and set browser agent to desktop and you get flash... at least on my d4... worked on my nexus 7 as well and thats jellybean lol

There isn't and won't be since Adobe turned their backs on Android. I've read that they might still include Flash Player in the new Windows Phone 8 phones, which stinks of politics and backdoor deals to me. MS pays Adboe to develop Flash for them and cut out Google and Apple. Bah!

I thinks thats down to personal preference if your on Facebook alot then yeah maybe its for you I'm old and dont, so I have removed it
As you all know I have moved on BUT I try and keep you all up to date with new things

Hey quick question I'm a Swype user since the beginning.I activated Swype and away I went.I notice all of a sudden it is not working correctly when replying to emails. It works on texts and even posting here...but when replying to emails it doesn't capitalize or space between words although it is set up correctly and working on every other application but the native mail app which is very nice. anyone else experience this? It did work correctly for a day.thanks!!!

The problem you mentioned is exactly what was wrong with the beta version so I'm almost sure you are not on the latest Swype version. If you were rooted (which I assume you're not since you're on stock ROM) I would suggest to delete the apps with TitaniumBackup and buy the .99cent app on the Play Store (worth it, it's amazing). Else what you can do is wait for an OTA that may included an updated version of Swype. What you can do right now is see if you could download or update official Swype from Play.
So Google Hangouts ( replace gtalk) is there, but not for tablets (for now i hope), so here is the apk file of the hangouts app, enjoy!

did not work on the 3113, didnt even error with conflict of sig., just ran in a split and errors to Not Stalled....

Replaced my gTalk with no problems, looks rather aesthetically pleasing but the UI in general needs ironing out and making more functional. At the moment for me at least it feels too clunky and confusing, especially with multiple Google accounts connected.:silly:

if you are unable to update hangout then log on to play store from pc and update from there i did it on the very 1st day it came out without any issues

It asked to update to Hangout. No need for external apk.
Since I updated to hangouts, I can't sign in - it always gives me the error "Couldn't sign in because we couldn't reach Google. Try again." Anybody else having this problem just with this one app? :crying:
