Guys I am in serious trouble here.
I am familiar with the flashing procedures and done it a lot of times with diff Roms.
I tried flashing my phone with Atrix Mod. The phone was hung up in startup display for a long time so i removed the battery and tried to restart.
But the phone would not start and neither am I able to access Recovery or Download mode. The phone is not detected in Odin.
As seen in several threads/advice i tried changing cable/ using diff PC & USB Ports but nothing helped.
The Recovery key combo shows something in Korean which I cannot read. The dowlnoad mode combo shows another korean lettering.
I will attach both for the members.
Please help as to how to restore it. If I can get it detected in Odin I can get it back up & running.

Solved....
Guys thanks a lot for the replies and suggestions.
Finally managed to solve it.
Here is how it happened...
1. Connected phone in download mode...(not detected in Odin)
2. Went to Device manager in Control Panel.
It showed as a unknown device as serial gadget something...
3. Right Clicked on it. No driver was present. Clicked on Update Driver.
4. Windows searched on the net and installed some driver.
5. After driver installation the connected phone was showing as Samsung Modem in USB Connections.
6. And it was detected in Odin....
Rest is all history

Hello everyone,
i've got a European Samsung Galaxy S with this 2.1 firmware and it's working with no problems:
PDA I9000XWJM2
PHONE I9000XXJM1
CSC I9000NEEJM1
i tried to update my phone to Android 2.2 via Kies but my phone just doesn't get recognized by the computer in Kies Mode or MTP mode, i have the latest version of Kies 1.5.3
and i even tried to download many drivers packages or manually extract the drivers from Kies and manually install it via device manager.. also all of this doesn't work!
i noticed something weird with my phone when it connects to Kies and the computer is trying to install drivers, the blue screen of the USB cable on the phone keeps disappearing and reappearing repeatedly and i hear a sound of plugging and unplugging from the computer.. it keeps doing so in MTP mode and kies mode, but not in USB mass storage mode as it works normal..
i thought even if i could get the driver to work my phone maybe has an issue with it's original firmware or something..
note that i haven't modded this firmware or rooted it before, this is what came with the phone..
another thing i've tried to enable the 3 button fix the download mode.. but it needs a rooted phone, so again tried to root with the SuperOneClick it works with some command lines appear but it just keeps looping through them and connect and disconnect forever..
i even want to make the lag fix but i can't too..
i'm very frustrated and i'm thinking to sell the phone as i can't do anything with it i can't upgrade it or even fix the lag, the phone is working but doesn't like to be connected to the computer!
...
i would be thankful for your advices
is my phone has a fixable issue or it's useless..
I would love to he anr to this. I am on the same boat.
Few things you could try...for USB disconnects!
1. Uninstall previous Drivers and Reinstall with new Samsung Drivers
2. Go to Device Manager in Windows (presuming you are using Windows)
Uninstall all The USB Root HUB's and everything else under the tab if you can, dont worry Windows will install again on startup
Once all is uninstalled ..Reboot!
3. Try a different cable
Hope some of this helps
Did you tried this

Try to boot to download mode (after reinstalling the drivers)
Reflash firmware you are looking for via kies or odin. I ADVISE to look for stock firmware, before flashing any custom roms.

The drivers are probably not installed, or need to be reinstalled.
First, you should try using the zadig.exe driver installer that comes with the Heimdall bundle (just Heimdall, not OneClickUnbrick). Plug in the Tab, Click Options -> List All Devices, then click Samsung USB Composite Device and install the driver. That should most likely make it detectable by OneClickUnbrick.
If that doesn't work, try downloading the Samsung USB Driver for Mobile Phones or Samsung Kies to install the needed drivers.
Finally, you can try getting the drivers to install automatically by plugging in the Tab, then going to your Windows system tray, right-clicking Safely Remove Hardware and opening Devices and Printers. From there, you should try to find your Tab's device listing (it's usually Samsung USB Composite Device), right-click it, and select Remove Device. Then unplug the Tab and plug it in again.
Hey there guys!
Recently a friend asked me to help him about his i9000 because wont pass the bricked screen:
I've tried all and can't even enter download mode (tried Volume Down + Menu + Power button and also tried with Volume Up, usb connected or disconnected)... Could only do it once and entered Download Mode but my computer didn't recongnized USB Device... Tried to install Kies and couldn't do it aswell.
Any idea? Can't do nothing... Almost can't touch any button because goes always to the same screen!

If the phone can enter download mode, install latest samsung usb drivers and connect it via Odin. From there everything else is east ...
I had the same problem and what I did to fix it was I put my phone into Odin mode, then from my computer I downloaded
Sent from my SM-N900T using xda app-developers trwp recovery img. and flashed that. It fixed the problem instantly. I'll try to find the download link for it if you want to try that..
Nop, nothing works... Downloaded Odin 3.07 and searched for Samsung Drivers, installed... And computer don't even recognize phone...
EDIT: Ok, entered Download mode on phone again, yet... Odin don't find anything and Windows stills saying that USB Device is not recognized... Download mode and that screen is the only thing i can do... I'm using Samsung USB cable (tried with SE cable to)... direct connecting to usb port from motherboard, not hub... Tried with Kies installed, without Kies installed... Tried 2 or 3 Samsung USB driver... I've searched and cleaned usb female port on phone aswell... Don't know what else to do!
Bump! Any more ideas?
Try to uninstall all samsung drivers , even kies then put the phone in download mode and connect it via usb to let the windows install the drivers for you.
Have you tried on another PC?
Pull the battery out, wait 10 minutes. Then try again.
Change port.Try all usb ports.Try different version of Odin or Firmware.
Or maybe you need new driver to install.
I need some assistance -
Odin picks up the tablet when it's normal - hooked up to the computer via its original USB, but as soon as I put it in Download Mode (turn it off, hold the keys, and follow the prompts) it goes away. I see the "removed!" message in Odin once that happens, too. Samsung drivers were installed, Developer Mode has been enabled, and USB Adb has been turned on...
Is there anything I can do? Did I miss something?
it sounds like the tab s2 is connected all the time. you have to be in download mode before connecting to the pc. here are the steps from the rooting guide:
- Power off your Galaxy Tab S2. Wait 6-7 seconds after screen goes off.
- Press and hold the three buttons Power + Home + Volume down together until you see warning screen.
- Press Volume Up to continue to download mode.
- Open Odin
- Connect your Galaxy Tab S2 to PC now using USB cable. Odin should recognize your Galaxy Tab S2. It’s a must. When it recognizes, you will see Added!! message appearing in the Log box in bottom left, and the first box under ID:COM will also show a no. and turn its background blue.
Thank you for the prompt response - I tried connecting it to my PC only while Odin was active. I even tried restarting Windows without the tablet connected and tried again, connecting it to the pc, only when "download mode" was present on-screen. Windows still doesn't recognize it. I'll keep trying.
DOWNLOAD mode or RECOVERY mode?
They are not the same thing.

...no one's mentioned recovery mode... Download Mode only.
Thanks for your work, btw!
I also had problems with ODIN using the original Samsung usb-cable in download mode. (SM-T810)
Problem was solved when using another, non-stock, usb-cable. Maybe you can try with that?

No they didn't but many make the mistake of thinking they are the same thing.
Install the Samsung USB drivers while in download mode. Make sure device manager picks up your device when plugging usb in.

I did that and it worked. There was, however, an error: Something about "image 2 binary 1", and I got the cyan error screen prompting me to use samsung smart safe. Needless to say, that didn't work, so I re-flashed the twrp recovery tar with Odin and now I'm here.
After checking out root access with many different apps, it seems that I'm properly rooted...SEEMS that way. I'll try to access recovery and let you known if it went through. Main reason is because I received an error during the flashing portion of the install - I was installing a Deodexed rom image when the aforementioned event happened. I'm gonna try again, since now, I'm 100% sure I know what happened.
. .
Recovery Works. Thank you guys for the help!

Hey All,
My niece was using my phone, and when I got it back, it started to just stay in on the Samsung logo screen. I let the battery die, and now it is stuck on the screen that says "An error has occurred while updating the device software. Use the Emergency recovery function in the Smart Switch PC software.
I downloaded the Smart Switch software, but didn't really get anywhere with it.
I then came across Odin, which seemed more promising. I'm using a Galaxy S10 SM-G973W. I am from Canada, and got the phone through Fido. I searched for the firmware to use, which I got from sammobile. After a few attempts at refreshing the FW, I am getting a failed message from Odin. I've attached the log messages from Odin. It says FAIL right after storsec.mbn. The version of Odin I've got is 3.14, and the PDA of the firmware I am using is G973WVLS4ETK1.
I've read online that trying a different FW might help. I am using the latest Fido one from sammobile.com.
My phone is completely useless right now, so any help would be appreciated.
Thanks!

A few more pieces of information that I have checked and tried.
1. Reinstalled drivers using Smart Switch.
2. Using the factory Samsung USB Cable, and have tried other cables.
3. Tried using two different computers. One is my main PC with two USB ports connected for a keyboard and mouse. The other is a laptop, where only my phone was connected.
4. Tried USB 3.0 and USB 2.0 on my main PC. My laptop only has USB 3.0 ports.
I have been reading some stuff about a PIT file that I might be able to utilize. I tried to extract it from the CSC file, but it says I need a password. I extracted the HOME CSC file, but no .PIT file showed up.
Another update, I've tried using Odin 3.14.4, and used Frija to get the firmware, but still not working. I am getting the same messages in the Odin log, as above.
I'm thinking of rooting the phone using TWRP. I have the recovery file, which I think I should be using, that is
twrp-3.5.0_9-0-beyond1qlte.img.tar
I have the Samsung S10 Snapdragon, so that appears to the be correct file. Then I load that file into the AP slot within Odin. I click start, then reboot the device into recovery mode. Is there anything I am supposed to do, once the phone is in recovery mode?
Is there anything else to know when using TWRP?
Thanks.
Would it be possible for one of the mods to post this into the questions and answers area? I think this is the wrong spot for this. I'm hoping to get some responses there.
Thanks!
Someone on andriod central said that the motherboard is gone. Does that sound right to anyone else?
