Hi, i have tried many ROMs for my SGS and the only ROM my SGS was fine with was
Tsunami X : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1878961&highlight=tsunami
I think it's because of the HugeMemPatch the Dev talks about.
Yesterday I wanted to change my ROM to a newer, and also because the dev doesn't look like caring about the feedback so I downloaded Slim Bean 4.3 : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2400003
And now my Ram only have like 20Mo Free... Google Services use 39Mo and Parameters 69Mo, What the...you know the following
Can somebody help me? Thanks
I don't know slimbean but i think it is the same prob as discussed in many topics...
Our SGS device gets older.. newer devices have lots more of RAM 1,5-2GB ...we have 512MB...
The apps consumed more RAM because of newer functions... same in Google apps... Android itself...
And 4.3 i think is in nightly status, maybe with first RC's it gets better

I fixed my own problem, I flashed my rom with carbon rom which is an awesome rom with the kernel Semaphore, if i'm not wrong SlimBean rom doesn't have Semaphore as kernel so i think Semaphore is the solution for everybody who have a low Ram problem.
Thanks !

The GPS has always been qite hit and miss for the S because of hardware faults, although that can be changed (its under the general section)
Any rom based off CM10.2 (which includes Mackay, Helly Bean etc) contains updated GPS libs which apparently have boosted GPS speed/performance
Alternatively some roms contain AngryGPS which does help boost connectivity (in my cases at least, though this will vary)

And after a few hints will you test it with an other ROM, how the GPS works?:good::fingers-crossed:

Yes, but if you can, try to improve the performance in the Ram use, because, using aroud of 2 or 3 apps the rom is very slow. Good luck with your project. Sorry for my bad english.
