Hi is there anyone that can place a tutorial on how to get the above app working

roms do it automatically now. this is in the wrong forum....reported

what you are looking for is how to partition your sdcard for ext2/3/4

There are alot of guides on how to do this.

Actually I put up the ol hijacked picture saying we was bout to hijack it but it must have been taken down by someone. That was the first thing I thought of when I got to work this morning. I guess just me and fingerlickin are actually doing some work on a monday.

Our hijacking has been hijacked, damn this is the 2nd time we have been ambushed.....time for the war paint.

i don't think my ego got that high when i hit 263 posts.
what good does posting to say you reported the thread do? if it is that important that the thread be locked and not in the way why don't people just report it, then no one post in it? every time some idiot posts a comment in a misplaced thread in the dev section it knocks a development related thread down one, so why don't they either a. help the guy and say next time post questions in the Q&A thread, instead of chiming in just to seem like a douche.
oh well lol. you should look for his thread in the development section that had NOTHING to do with development and see how irritated he got when someone said they reported it. that was some funny stuff.

Good, yesterday was a slow day.

Today may have to go on without me soon. UPS just came with some pretty anl's.

i 2nd the q&a thought. Also, signup for twitter and follow some of these devs. Also follow their links to other sites where drizzy's cliq rom is. You will see in the notes that he has quite a few other devs working with him on it so there will only be one really nice cliq rom. not a bunch of the same thing.

if the next time you see a thread posted in the wrong section just report it like you should already be doing and don't leave a reply because now i've had to tell you how to behave in a human manor you've added extra time to what should have been a simple moving of a thread

There are different music apks that HTC aNd Google have placed in their different roms. Unless if you can be helpful don't reply.

Asking the question a couple of times is fine... asking it 1,493 times is a waste of time and forum space. We all, myself included, are phone enthusiasts and like answering questions... but when a simple search would have answered your question, but you consider yourself to important to do it, that pisses us off. And no... there's ONE HTC Music app... the one included in Sense. If you had searched to "HTC music", you'd see numerous threads including these:

I had read these before, none of the responses ever have a clear answer, other than install HTC sense, againit doesn't hurt to ask, people can always add more help.

Look man... you could have posted in any of those threads. That was my only point. Ask the question...by all means! Just don't start a new thread when it's so obviously the same as all those threads!
Anyway, the answer is an unequivocal no. HTC Music requires the Sense framework. The best you can hope for is Google updating their Music app in the future, or a 3rd party version through Market. Aside from that... no way. Enjoy your phone though...

Would anyone want a "bible" thread, or is there one?

I'm not a noob to android by far, but this forum seems to be lacking a "bible" type of thread. An organized place where one can find the answers to whatever common questions they have.. I feel like lately, most questions get answered with a stock reply of "there's a search button", but when you ARE searching, if most of your results end up resulting in "there's a search button" as an answer- it gets frustrating.
With most devices, the same questions come up- "How do I root" "How do I restore to stock" "whats the difference between x and y roms?" "which is the best rom?"
Is there a thread that answers all of the basic questions, some sort of "Nexus 7 bible"? I haven't found one. I think it is good for rom developers- I read description of rom A and rom B, and I it can become hard to see what the differences are.. I mean it would be more than JUST that, but it would be helpful just to have a list of everything that is out, or anything else that might be useful.
The last bible thread I started(with help) has had over 30k views, and I think it was really helpful for people that just don't have time to sift thru the huge amount of information.. if I am right, and there isn't a bible type of thread, would anyone be willing to start/maintain one? I am more than willing to research all of the useful answers about this device if it might help people.. but I am too lazy to even try a few roms to see what the differences are if I am the only one that benefits.
I guess I am just looking for feedback or support, if I am right, and there isn't one GOOD place to get all of the answers.. I'm willing to contribute. But only if I know there is some sort of demand.

Yeah, this forum is a little too unfocused. I think that would help.

But I do agree a little. You can find a lot of info about roms and kernels (the difference and what they do) over at other devices. But what I usually miss is an overview of what you can do with them. Can they do Cifs (Windows File sharing access), OpenVPN and such. But I guess it's something you need to figure out for yourself.

Thanks for the positive feedback guys, I'm willing to dive into things more if I know it might be helpful to others.. I'm super busy at the moment with the last 4 weeks of college(graduation time baby!), but I may create a google document that others can help contribute to if they so choose..
There isn't an n7 wiki either right? I'll do some searching, but I didn't know that my last device had a wiki until after we had already made out bible. It wasn't well done, and I think there alot of perks to a google doc, but I just want to be sure.
Edit: There is a wiki, but it seems really really sparse.. Links, to other links, to other links, in no particular order, not easily searched. There is actually no information on the page itself.. when I get some time I hope I can do better.

A metaphor for you.
There are several kinds of people here on xda, but there are two major groups:
Some people ask to be force fed all the time.
That's like asking where a burger king is when you're right in front of it, but you can't see it cause you're looking the other way. (Just like here. You posted to be directed to the ROM although it's usually the first thread in the "original android development")
Some other people are here being a very active part of the community, using their unparalleled skills to give us a good product... But since they are such a big part of the community they're the first to be chosen whenever someone wants to be force fed. Or at least they tend to act responsibly in their threads.
They are the people that you end up stopping while they're out on the street and get annoyed whenever you ask where the burger kings is. Because of course the burger king is right there, but also because they have been asked the same question over and over. By spending a lot of time here they're bound to be the ones more exposed to such questions.
Therefore, laziness is not really well regarded in this community. Besides, tinkering with android might not be such an easy task, especially when there are no final products out yet, so, if you don't even know how to look for something in a forum, a lot of people would suggest that you should avoid modding altogether.
That being said, next time try to be a tad more considerate of the work of others. If it's your first visit to xda I would like to welcome you though. I'm sorry if I have been rude, but I just wanted to be explicative.
Now, feel free to explore the forum, but be warned that the vast majority here does not like to answer questions that have been asked several times. The search button holds most of these answers.
