Jellybam 4.3 issue - Motorola Atrix HD

Just flashed jellybam 4.3 and love it. Only issue I'm having is GPS not working at all. Any known issues with this and any fix/suggestions? Thanx

Hi Poa,
You might have better luck going to the official JellyBam forums as the main developer of JellyBam has been banned from XDA so therefore all his work went with him. I won't get into the reasons why, but JellyBam is safe to use.
B.T.W. I'm running JellyBam 10.3 and it works fine did you come from Cyanogenmod 10.2 before flashing JellyBam? If not that's your problem.

OK, thanks for the response

No, I came from probam but thought I would try jellybam while I'm waiting for an update. Roms are very close but probam kept freezing.

I had a few issues with JellyBam so I read through their forums and found I was supposed to be running CM 10.2 before the flash so I did that and everything is running fine now.

Downloading 10.3 now, should I wipe or can I dirty flash ?

Flashlight Issues.

Flashlight only works on first use after reboot. After that it won't work again until I reboot.
Also not working properly with camera. Sometimes lights subject but never flashes with shutter.
Anyone any suggestions?

What is your ROM??
Besides, most recommend this flashlight: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.devuni.flashlight&hl=pl
CM 7.2 running firekernel.
Issues were present before flashing these though.

Btw recommended app does exactly the same. Only works once after a reboot.

i tried a CM10.1 and CM7.2 roms and still the same
any more ideas?
I posted this over a year ago. Never found a fix in that time. Was on 4.2 AOKP in the end.
Can you try a stock ROM and see if flashlight is fixed?
I no longer use this phone BTW.

That was the one thing I didn't try, so was my only suggestion. You'll need to hope someone that can help sees this. However as you can see nothing's been forthcoming.

Wait - what's this about no GPS? Is this just for the Atrix HD cause Razr HD both models work fine.
BTW this is 4.2.2-based.
Is your bootloader unlocked?
GPS no go here either other wise so far so good

Hmmm OK, I'll check the GPS configuration... maybe I missed something..
Any ROM based on 4.2.2 the GPS will not work on the AHD. Or at least that's history....
I don't think its anything you did. I think the only fix is the AHD getting an update. . .
Pacman ROM was built from source, GPS was a no go.

[Q][i9000] Can somebody port the Jellybam Rom

Can somebody please port the jellybam rom because it never works it always fails to install with a status 7 error.
It isnt just me that has this, and i think this has happened ever since v9.2/9.4
Here is the link for the latest rom V10.0.0 based on Android 4.3/CM10.2: http://get.jellybam.com/3233/jellybam-v10.0.0_galaxysmtd.zip
If Jellybam is based on Cyanogenmod, you have to install the zip once more after you got the status 7 error. But you will lose all your data.
Sent from my GT-I9000 using xda app-developers app
You could, but Jellybam roms are banned on xda.

The developer was a kanger apparently (so I've heard at least) and so was banned with their rom.
Pretty much, he stole code without acknowledging the source.

That's not completely correct it depends on how custom or what the base is,now if your stock based you can use stock kernel with say holoblur, but that's it.
Exactly what echo said still. Doesn't work on custom roms.. It'll work on modified stock.

ROM's offered in ROM Manager

I've seen cm ROMs being offered to our device and used them myself but saw "Shoredroid". Has anyone tried these ROMs? if so are they worth our time?
Sent from my MB886 using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
I don't suggest using ROM manager ROMs at all... Or anything from it. It didn't get it's nickname "ROM Mangler" for nothing xD. Stick to Goomanager ROMs and use get.cm for CM nightlies.

Just stick with what we have here.

The cm roms worked fine from the program. Just didn't like the 4.3 since it drained the crap out of my battery... Went back to stock. Just looking for something different.

If you're also using recovery from ROM manager (photon q) you'll want our official one. And just find a ROM in the development section here and flash away. Just remember to make backups and wipe stuff.

There is no best ROM/Kernel, try them all and see which "best" suits you.
