Thnx for the video, very clear...
EDIT: I don't like the way that it looks in landscape... it is fixed but I use my tab in portrait and I would like to see the bootanimation in portrait.
Thank you anyway

Stop lying, you don't need NEXT to do this. This can be done with any kernel just by setting the ro.sf.hwrotation to 0. Talk to me when you have a fix for PORTRAIT.

sure, bootanimation is fixed but then you need a special init.d script or touch orientation is wrong. but try it if you want

add black pictures for first part of bootanimation, animation will start later and you can't see the bug

That sound interesting, I'll do this and see if it looks good
EDIT: Inserter 20 black images in part0 folder and renamed then in order... But it doesn't worked, it's like part0 was ignored
Maybe you need to edit the desc.txt
but it was only a joke because someone called me a lyer it makes no sense to make the bootanimation visible after 4 or 5 seconds.
i general don´t know why somebody has such a big problem with that bug ?!? if you are in bootloop for 1 hour i would understand .
(i edit my post before, added link for init.d information and hwrotation with other kernel)

Holy crap this is sexy!
Any chance you could make one for a phone like 800x640 and in portrat?

Pretty please
Or even just remove the ANDROID HONEYCOMB text,
It looks perfectly fine besides the text just gets cut off

Much appreciated!

This one is incredibly awesome. Great work!
This is one of the first boot animations aside from the default one which I actually like. If you could loop the file it would be perfect because now the animation runs for a few seconds then it stops, and after a while I just get a blank black screen until android is done booting. Thanks for your effort.
will fix in a few minutes
I've made one, unfortunately i unrooted my nexus s. If someone could test this one and see if it loops i will commit changes to the 1st post

Doesn't work, I just had a black screen throughout the boot process.
cant quite figure out why it does this. I've tried multiple things. I could try looping the animation and not give it an idle-state animation.

I appended changes to the 1st post. Thanks for the help
I took the Samsung Galaxy S II boot animation from here and added the 'Galaxy Mini ' portion. I cropped all the frames so the boot animation fits nicely in the QVGA display and is quite clear.
I made the glowing 'S' loop, so, it looks pretty authentic.

Awesome Thanks!
I think it needs more images in part1, so that frame rate of animation will increase and animation will be smooth.
But I guess its Samsung's fault, they might not had provided more images in original Galaxy S2 bootanimation.
Thanks, you are awesome. Finally changed from CM9 bootanimation. Bootsound is also awesome.

put the bootanimation.zip file to /system/media and delete any other bootanimation.zip from /system/media and fro /data/local
Unless you are still on stock Samsung rom, then in that case flash a decent rom and follow the above instructions
You will need a file browser on your phone which has root r/w access
I suggest root explorer, it's a paid app, but well worth it

Here's a tutorial. It may look long and difficult but it's pretty simple.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=19737090&postcount=1
Hey people,
I put together this slick boot animation based on an animation posted on Google+ by Marques Brownlee.
Here are a few facts :
There are two files. 30 images per second and 60 images per second.
It's not flashable. Install it with a root-enabled file explorer or with a boot animation changer such as this one. If you do it manually, don't forget to rename the appropriate file to bootanimation.zip
I posted four different resolutions, which I think covers many phones. Feel free to resize it to fit your phone's resolution. You can use Boot Animation Factory for that.
See preview below - it should give you a pretty good idea of the animation itself.

used rom toolbox..you can change your boot animation instantly...
and there a lot of boot animation to choose from romtoolbox,+ thers a lot of things you can benefit from using this apk
you can also push boot animation of your choice on folder(bootanimation) of romtoolbox just set it as your default.

Thanks i will try it
-sorry for my bad grammar
I'm experiencing the same problem
It stopped booting after boot animation,
I used PAC 22.0.1 ROM: forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2334201,
I can't remember what could I've done wrong before this happen,
All I did was checking in to Foursquare and..
trying to install a new boot animation (maybe this was the cause, but I think this was just a simple modification, so it's unlikely),
I've give in rebooting, I've done it like 25 times or more,
now I'm installing new ROM,
