Look, we are obviously going to be the redheaded step child of the G2 universe. If we want to get some options it wouldn't hurt to start a topic with Case Maker email adresses. I know for a fact it works. If a company gets enough email interest they sometimes will respond with a product. So anyone else think this is a good idea? List the Spigen, Speck, and Seido emails to start and get a drive going. Just a thought.

From what I hear, otterbox will release cases, but they aren't talking about it. I have reached out to them via email and they said they weren't, but some other sources contradict that.
I appreciate the news but personally I won't buy otterbox for the same reason I don't buy icrap, they are communist! !!lol

I just ordered a carbon fiber skin for the G2, should get it tomorrow. This will allow you to use the phone with just a very light skin on it that improves on the plastic back which is kind of a fingerprint magnet and a bit slippery:

I was looking at ordering that, but the picture shows the international version so it scared me away from ordering it.
You guys need to calm it with all this customer service emailing....this phone is very new (or not even released on some carriers). Give the manufacturers some breathing room to develop some cases. I know as a fact my company will be getting G2 Verizon cases but we don't advertise it. Same goes with a lot of other companies as well. Remain patient :highfive:
I ordered the Fosmon TPU case because it seems to be the only one that definitively says it is made for VZ and is shipping. It was only $4 so my expectations were not high - it isnt too bad, thin...will do until better stuff gets out there. Fit could be better but it will work.

I saw that and considered it, but I'm not sure how hard it will be to get it in and out of the pocket... Do they make a clip for it? How "rubbery" is it? I really loved the otterbox commuter on my gnex

I know what you mean. My 3 year old has dropped my sgs2 with the Aegis on it several times, both the phone and the case look like new.

I liked the protection and the grip from when I had it on my HTC but the silicone made it really alloying when putting it in and taking it out of my pocket and I'd assume it'd be worse since the Note is humongous. I'm guessing it's not a big deal to everyone else?

The silicone on my AMS case isn't very tacky at all. Also the only place it's on the outside is the corners, everything else is covered with plastic.
IMHO the Trident Aegis line of cases are the best on the market bar none. Better protection than the tpu type cases and not near as bulky with almost as good protection as some of the "Sarcophagus" type cases out.
I have had them on my ET4G, SG3, and now waiting for the GN2 Aegis to release! I like and believe in these cases so much I always get a blue one and a black one to swap out occassionally.
It is also the only case I will let my GF use on her new GS3 lol!!

Does the silicone portion around screen, tight? I have a otterbox commuter case for my Iphone and the silicone portion is very lose where the hard portion doesn't cover. Very stupid design and one reason I am not buying another case from Otterbox.
I love the look of the Kraken's but the silicon inside plastic outside and the way the plastic links is horrible. comes off every time you drop it. bad design.

i had to send my Kraken for my gs2 back because the power button broke when it dropped..then the small piece that is used to clip onto the holster also broke just before i sent it in. their customer service is excellent and they sent me a new one. two days ago the same clip piece broke on the new one. they do seem to come apart when dropped. excellent looking case that provides great protection, but needs work on the construction quality. the aegis on the other hand has been solid with no complaints...other than the wish for the AMS kickstand to be combined to it.
the review videos I watched show it popping apart every impact.

Its possible to design so you can have 1 card in the flip lid with a window for camera, and buttons (might get slightly in the way for volume down). Then again, you dont need to use the buttons anyways.

There is hole for that too, but if you check top right corner there is a bigger hole for the antenna on F320 phones. If you got for official cases they should be without holes for the international version, but if you go with cheap china cases there is a chance they have a hole to fit all phones.

Ah, I see. Thanks for the clarification.
I'm hoping the cases for the normal version fit the Verizon variant, just since the buttons are smaller there will just be space around them from the bigger cut outs

I talked to LG this morning and they were kind of sketchy on the differences between Verizon and the rest, so I'm now thinking there is more of a difference than the buttons

well when i ordered it, it was like 3 bux lol..so i was like 3 bux for a little scratch protection till the better cases come out isnt anything, its pretty much like an Incipio Feather Case.

For people who use swipe side screen triggered launcher like Swapps (my favorite), SwipePad, Wave launcher,... better pay attention on fact that LG G2 got super thin side bezels, so any case with raised protective rim will block (interfere) swipe side screen trigger area. This is a main reason I bought Poetic Palette case which it doesn't interfere with Swapps (or similar launcher).
Has anyone seen a combo case and holster for the G2 yet? Thanks.

I dig the cover. Very low profile.
As to the case, I like taking stuff with me, but being able to ditch it all and just use the tablet.
I would rather have a low profile cover, rather than a portfolio style. I always have a laptop bag with me so I don't really need extra space. That tpu cover is all over amazon and it has the right price, so I'm gonna grab one. Thanks...

I totally get it. The flip covers are nice and compact. To each their own.
I have two common scenarios.
1- I take just the portfolio and nothing else. 80% of the time.
2- I take a larger bag in which I ditch the portfolio and just take the tablet with the plastic case. 20% of the time.
I was meaning the tpu as a low profile option. Having to deal with a flip cover always seemed to be weird to me. I like that you probably saved 30 bucks and got the best of both worlds, plus gained a few utilitarian features from using the planner instead of buying a specific tablet cover. It doesn't seem like anyone other than you (and me soon enough...) are interested in a tpu/silicone case. I emailed Trident about a rugged case but they have nothing on the radar yet for the tab 3.

I am using that particular cover/case on my GTab3 8.0 and I love it. I did a semi review of it along with a screen protector in the accessories section under the title ArmourSuit military screen protector and Bobj Rugged case. (or something similarto that title)

On amazon i ordered MPERIO case for d950 glow in the dark green and it glows! + 3 tech armor lifetime warrenty screen protecors i also ordered a iBolt xPro car mount universal galaxy s4/s3/note2/3 etc. that works with iphones and many more hopefully will work with the g flex so i caan use it as car dock the curve i think will prevent glare from the car dock using car home ultra app and google maps spotify etc.
has anyone found a glass screen protector yet for this phone? I dont know if one would work, given the bend to the screen..

Highly doubtful.
I just received my Eagle cell hybrid case all black and it is awesome! I got it for 5 bucks and it feels really good in the hand. It does add some bulk but honestly I don't mind and the phone feels really secure now. Highly recommend it especially at that price.

yeah, and even at 30% off, they are still way overpriced..
Amazon is cheap case heaven, IMO..
I like that I can retun or swap out a case at T-Mobile if need be. Wife's htc one case turned yellow they swapped it out for free. I do like the cheap cases on Amazon too.

Question.... Can these cases fit all versions of the LG Flex? ...will a t-mobile or sprint case fit the G flex from At&t? I haven't seen too much differences as far as the design and shape of the phone on 3 US carriers.

MPERO IMPACT X Series Kickstand Case for LG G Flex LS995 D950 D959 - Glow in the Dark Green
MPERO FLEX S Series Protective Case for LG G Flex LS995 D950 D959 - Magenta
CASE FORMERS Duo Armor BLACK for LG G Flex Combo Case with Stand
Incipio Dualpro Shine Case for LG G Flex - Retail Packaging - Silver/Black
Incipio is nice, but the inner rubber sleeve is a little loose, so there is some sag on the side when the out layer gets squeezed on; this happens to all the multi layer cases, since the curve in the center of the phone sort of gets "pinched" when the out layer gets pressed on.
The Mpero glow in the dark is great; sort of like an Otter box defender type protection, without all the port covers, and has the cool factor of glowing in the dark. the stand is great, and this will probably be the case I keep on when I go out and about, since I have been known to drop my phone, and this guys has super thick edges on it, so it will definitely survive a drop.Also, has a great kickstand, that actually holds the curved phone stable, both in vertical and horizontal states.
The Mpero Flex S will probably be my everyday case; very thin, sleek, a slight lip to protect the screen when face down, and adds no real bulk to the phone. Nice grip edges along the sides to help you hold it securely.
Probably my least favorite is the Case-formers; very bulky, inner rubber case gets really pinched in the center of the phone curve, but the worst thing is the small, flimsy stand, that doesn't securely support the phone in vertical or horizontal mode. Don't bother with this one..
Wished the mpero had a black case looks good but i dont like the clear cases.

So I got my case in today and I must say it is perfect for the edge. it gives the edge more substantial feel and it added grips to the side. The new ash color is awesome with a black sapphire. I found my case that I'm sticking with! buttons are perfect and have a great tactile feel. I had a spigen air cushion case on before but the phone felt too slippery on the sides and I felt like I was going to drop it all the time!this case rocks!

Wow that case is sick.. I passed on it when I first seen it, thinking the ash color looked a little weird. Now I have to buy it lol. Still waiting on the Obliq Case Dual Poly Bumper Series from ebay.
that is nice, but at 35 bucks, its too high for me..especially after getting 3 verus cases, including the hard drop for under 12 bucks on a Amazon Slick Deal
I'll watch for a sale on this guy, cause UAG makes a great case..
I got my UAG ASH yesterday. I like everything about it. It fits well, seems to protect in the correct spots, and adds a well needed grip to the edge. It's a little expensive, but after the price of the phone itself...it's peanuts.
Can you use the wireless charger through this case?

Wireless charging works fine, except for the Tylt Vu. It only works in landscape, but that's well known and with almost all the cases. I tried 3 other chargers, and all work. The Tylt does work as long as you don't use the position it in portrait.
I love the UAG cases. I had one on my HTC One for two years. Now my wife and I both have one for our S6 phones. I have the ash, she the maverick. I gotta say, I think the maverick is even cooler.

Here's the maverick form the back.
I also picked up the Ash for my black sapphire edge. Looks awesome, feels great in the hand and not too bulky.
Highly recommended to anyone looking for a good day to day case who don't use their phones in a harsh environment.
I'm getting the s6 edge in gold. Camn anyone please post pics of the gold version with a UAG Case on? Tia

1 the edge of the back is too sharp , if you hold you phone a lot in a day , you feel your finger hurts
It feels fine to me!still my favorite case to date!I i got the maverick color too which is more clear!
