[Q] Xperia Z with 4G service ... in the US

I placed a pre-order last week for the xperia Z from handtec.uk for shipping to New York.
I am presently using a Lumia 920 on Simple Mobile and have had excellent 4G service for months now.
Does anyone know if I will be getting the same 4G service with the xperia Z on this network?
LTE I will not get since am not using the phone on AT&T network and is not offered by Simple Mobile, which is fine with me.
Thanks

For HSPA+ the C6602 for LTE the C6606.

My mistake guys, I'm actually on Straight Talk. I did check my order and handtec said the model they getting would be the Xperia Z ET964 C6603.
In any case, I cancel the order this morning since I realize that the phone will be a bit too large for my taste plus those port flaps will be a pain in the arse in the long run. Will wait for the ZL ... as it will suite me better.
Thank you all for your responses. Cheers

It's not much bigger than the ion. I have comparison pictures in another thread showing it compared to the ion and TL.

The C6603 is the LTE model. C6602 is not. The ZL will not be much smaller though.

Bell? Taco Bell?
Galaxy S3 and Z both use the same SIM card size. Did you remember to use the SIM card tray on the Z? Also, what makes you think the Z IMEI number is not supported?

Bell is in Canada lol.
As far as the sim card it should defiantly fit? Just take the tray out and stick it in. I got mine a few days ago

I used a fingernail and pulled it out. This was also detailed on the stickers that covered the back panel, and in the quickstart guide in the phone box.
I kindly suggest you RTFM.

I am on the Bell network and it works perfectly but doesn't have LTE only HSPA+. When you figure out the SIM card insert issue, you have to manually put in the APN settings from Bell. Once that is done reboot the phone and there now you have a XZ working on Bell.

thread like this is normal, just look at some other devices(especially the Nexuses), they have similar threads like this for people with the same nationality(or currently in the country for some reason) to share and discuss their experiences on their phone carriers, local availability of the phone, accessories etc.
but of course everybody is also not prohibited to join in the discussion, everybody is welcome

Does Smart have a data usage cap with its "unlimited" data? If yes, what is the cap? And, does Smart LTE work for Prepaid yet?

On Globe's "Unlimited" SuperSurf, there's an 800MB-cap for a day. Once reached, no way to register to another data promo. You need to wait until 12mn or spend P5/15mins. Bummer...
Edit: Found out that Smart has a 1.5GB cap for 1 month. I'll stick with Globe then.
Guys help. Can someone share a ftf of Smart locked Xperia V JB firmware thanks. I can't get lte connection. It reached only hspa+.

Sorry, thought they reconsidered based on the thread title,
I was saying if he still has warranty on his phone, he should send it back, here in Philippines, Sony service is so strict, yet they don't know what they're doing.

Full network, still unable to connect to the internet!! :(

I don't understand this problem, it happens some tine.. I can see full network coverage but still my data doesn't get enabled. I need to goto network type and switch between 2G n 3G n after some tries, it connects.. What is this? Its really quite annoying.. Same this used to happen with my xperia arc also.. I think Sony (Ericsson) is still not learnt... With same sim card, I can connect using friend's Samsung/Karboon n that too without Signal failures..
Hit Thanks If I helped u!!

2G doesnt really work that fast or at all with my service so it may detect it but just cant run that fast...maybe just where you live, ask someone else with the same service with different phone to see if he get crappy service.
This happened to me when I had improper proxy IP set in my APN.
