Hi,
I've got widgetlocker installed and it's causing a problem with the alarm.
When the alarm goes off I no longer get the dismiss/snooze popup. It's a real pain. Is there any fix ?

I just recently bought a viva. I used my old phone as my alarm clock. This one is a bit more stubborn. I cannot find anywhere to be able to change the sound on the alarm. It only makes a short sound that goes of twice and then quits. Does anyone know how to customize the alarm setting on the phone? Using a daily reminder as my alarm is hassle. THANKS!

Go to Settingd/Clock&Alarm; touch on the "small bell" icon, and some options for customizing the alarm setting will display.
You can use G alarm program
Hello,
i have a problem with my Alarm Clock on Android 1.5.
Tomorrow my Alarm Clock was not ringing or vibrating in any way. I thought, ok, i didnt hear anything... But the strange thing is, that the lock screen still show "Wednesday 5:30PM" (I live in Germany).
If the alarm clock was on and i didnt hear it, should it be on "Thursday 5:30PM".
So i think it hangs, or something like that...
Any ideas?
Greetings,
Chris
I have a Problem with my clock, too.
Because my intern memory (ROM) was to low.
It was about 15MB.
I think it is to low for the clock.
Deinstall some apps and test it again.

Hi,
I am on rooted 1.1 stock. I am not sure which alarm app I downloaded and played with but I currently do not have any alarm apps installed on my NC. However, while configuring any clock widget when the option to display the next alarm widget is chosen, I see the next alarm time set to 00:16AM. Also, the alarm never goes off at this time and just keeps resetting itself to the next day. Any idea how I can fix this next alarm error?
TIA
Hi,
I use this forum a lot but never posted here before. I have a problem with my alarm clock which I never found an answer for so far.
My original problem was that the stop/snooze screen would not respond sometimes when I set the alarm over night (testing the alarm a few minutes ahead works fine). Changing roms did not help as well (using darky 9.5 now).
After some reading I understood there are some known issue with stock alarm so I tried 3rd party alarm clocks and I ended up with AlarmDroid.
I like that program but sometimes it just doesn't go off. if I set it to 7AM it shows in the lock screen the time and then a minute later it just disappear without ringing.
oh, I don't use any task killers. Haven't tried the alarm on 2.3.3 yet (is there any change with the alarm clock from 2.2?)
Any direction to what else I can try would be welcomed.

Alarm Clock Plus v2 has never let me down, snooze works great on it and you can set it for as many snooze presses as you like, don't like the stock one (JVB).
I'll try it out thanks.
I'm just afraid these problems might be linked somehow and it will happen no matter what alarm clock I use.
When I try to set up a new alarm clock with moto voice, it brings me to the setup page, but it does not set it up automatically. I have to press the "set alarm" myself to finish the work. Has this happened to any of you? How should I fix it? Thanks!

When Google updates their search app.
I use Timely as my alarm clock and it sets it automatically without having to acknowledge it. However, I just noticed that it sets a new alarm each time - I have a named alarm for 6 AM, another named alarm for 6:15, and a "Miscellaneous" alarm for any other time. When I set an alarm through Moto, it creates a new alarm - even if it is for 6 or 6:15. I see that I have about 20 separate alarms now.
