Does this app works on joe.stone's AOSP ROM?
If so it is just exacly what im needing im good with those 2 options but i see the project in mind goes beyond that and definitely is something it was missing for everybody all-in-1 app sounds awesome.
Hope you make it possible, one suggestion please put screenshots so users have a better idea how it will look like

Ill have to look at the system layout, but should be semi compatible with all phones/ roms(uses standard terminal commands). Apart from flashing the recovery image witch is only for gt540.
I took a look at the source code used in z4root and copyed alot of the codes used. If anyone know how to copy assets to sdcard can you Let me know Because I plan to put apn and a recovery image inside of the apps assets.

Edit: yep will work fine on stock 2.1 and clean android 2.3.2
Edit: next release will be able to run on all rom(need to add a library)

i was thinking of making a lg gt540 type ROM manager if lukemovement1 can tell me how he made this app

The download of recovery.Img wont work on other phones, and nor will the rom list. But everything else is universal, And ye you could cool this a gt540 rom manager, I'm gunna add a few extras in aswell so any requests ill do my best at.
I made the app by looking at z4root source code, in the sdk.
EDIT: A minor bug to remove and The first non beta version will be ready, I think I also found a way around the hidden menu.

Ok Guy ignore what I said about a small bug because there's now a problem. Stock Roms don't have all the file I need in /system/bin. But the good news is I think II have found out how to extract assets from an. apk file. About a week and it should be all sorted, and maby setapn will be in my next update.
EDIT:then again maby 2 days

depends on which way you look at it because its not just a descusion about the app, and i may need a few people to give feed back about any problems

i trie this app with my friend's "Unflashable" GT540, and it downloads the recovery, flashes it, but cannot reboot into recovery, either with inbuilt chooser, or home+call

A phew questions about you mates phone.
1. Stock rom?(if not what rom?)
2.fully rooted with z4root?
3. Ever use the kdz updater?
It may be a problem with a built-in library file in the wrong directory, should be sorted by tonight.
Does anyone know if we need a custom radio to enable us to boot into recovery mode???

here's the link with the topic with my problem, phone is regulary flashed every time, kdz flashes it OK, but there's no change on the ROM.

can you try flash you phone with the kdz updater following this guide. this unlocked bootloader and recovery for me.

it was stock 2.1...dunno, it worked well on other roms.
tryed russian with fastboot and quarx but either isn't flashed, it says it is, but loads up same ROM always
how do you mean unlock bootloader mode, was i just plain lucky with 5 phones??

boatloader is a mode like recovery but it is complete seprate from the boot.img, system.img and recovery.img. i think it runs of the phones radio.img which is first started up when the phone is turned on.
would you be able to use a completely different computer because when i try to force an update on my phone i ended up hacking the cmd at a library and finishing the update from there.
read through the guide i suggested because there is something you have to disable i think on you pc for the update to work and i thiunk youhave to use modefied lg drivers.

When it says for recovery flash (not froyo or gingerbread) I'm on black quarx 2.1 do I need to put the recovery file into sd/downloads and sd/download or just one?

FEATURES
1. New bootsound engine. That allows you select volume and no bootsound in silent mods
2. Multi-bootanimation features. That means you select some bootanimations and in every boot one of them is previewed randomly!
3. Keep all of your DATA, including SMS, contacts, all installed applications, accounts, etc. when flash a new rom.
This is a great feature of this tool!
4. LEDanim engine. Play LED animation during bootanimation! It's nice on 4 LEDs of X1!
5. Pre-apply settings. For example you can disable data access on mobile network if you don't have data plan.
6. Completely rebuild the build.prop during installation. This means you can change its values, for example dalvik heap size, scrolling cache, etc in advanced mod during installation!
7. Add "back" in power menu. Usefull only in key freeze cases! (some Roms don't support that).

INSTRUCTIONS
I will update this later, but for a quickly installation guide follow this steps:
You need the milaq's lk bootloader for ELITE-RM to work!
When you flash new bootloader, you must format every partition through CWM recovery and then flash CM7 and then use ELITE-RM!
1. Download ELITE ROM MANAGER
2. Download a ".hrd" file or create it yourself through ELITE-RM (In the main menu, select "create file", then select ".hrd file".)
3. Download any ROM you want to port.
4. Place all downloaded files in root of your sdcard.
5. Reboot into recovery and select ELITE-RM. DO NOT FORMAT ANY PARTITION AND DO NOT FARCTORY RESET YOUR DEVICE!
ELITE-RM will Backup all data and restore it during installation, first and second boot!
6. In the main menu, select "porting project" and follow.
It has illustrated enough, read the menus and infos completely and proceed. After all selections, installation will begin. After that your system will reboot into your new Rom!
The first boot may take long time, just before entering Android, the device will reboot (It is necessary for data restoring progress).After that in second boot (before entering bootanimation) the screen will turn off and CYAN LEDs will turn on (In this step, all DATA will restore and may take you more than ten minutes).

Some Roms work with GRH78 hrd and some other work with GRI40 hrd ,but most of Roms work with both!
I will update the first post and complete infos as soon as possible!
The working/not working list of Roms is vary but almost is like the CM7!

Could you tell us what about battery drain in such ported ROMs? For me X1 had good battery life (despite it was working on Windows Mobile) on Android when using, but I've had random battery drain very often (e.g. after few hours of not using it, I notice that the phone is dead). And that was IMHO the biggest issue.

As you know, Battery drain is a kernel related issue and as all Roms ported by ELITE-RM use milaq's kernel, this issue and other CM7 issues of milaq's Rom remain in all Roms. But in some Roms with some init.d binaries or apps may battery drain be a little better!

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
You should be rooted and have custom recovery installed. Follow ROOTING guide and install RECOVERY and follow next steps.
1) Keep it SD card and reboot to recovery.
2) Wipe data/cache and dalvik and then flash the ROM, incase you get a bootloop (which you won't) then reboot in recovery wipe data/cache and dalvik TWICE then again reboot recovery from advanced menu and then install the ROM and reboot.
3) Will work with any recovery prefer using Philz. (Link above)
4) Reboot and keep patience as first boot can take upto 15-20 minutes.
INFINIX ZERO users make sure you have stock boot.img flash this mod first CAMERA FIX and then using SP Flashtool flash stock boot.img or else wait for my mod
NOTE : After Installing ROM will automatically reboot recovery to fix root. Manually reboot to system from recovery
BUGS
- At first boot it will ask to setup device, that time while setting google account keyboard won't work as keyboard is not enabled skip that part and manually enable keyboard later from menu. It'll work fine after that
- After you setup the device it will say "Unfortunately Setup Wizard has stopped" keep tapping on ok continuously and after 3-4 times you'll see a black screen then press home key from device (hard key middle one on your device below screen) and you'll go to home screen. I know you can bypass that! OR to fix this issue just open the zip with any zip viewer and go to system folder then app and delete the "Browser.apk" and install the ROM
- ROM can't take screenshot from "Volume UP or Down + Power Key" but hey Gravity Box is there! :silly:
- You may get error like "Unkown issue request from Google Play Music or Services". You must know it's from a lower Android and SoC port hence will be having some issues but Google Play Music works just fine. Uninstall it if you don't want it. Fixed Check Add-Ons sections for Fix. :good:
- You may see issue that Dolby doesn't gets enabled, but plug in headphones then open the option dolby it'll work. In case you are frustated with my work install this Dolby app along with it, This one will work absolutely fine Download HERE
None other. ROM is totally fine and has good performance and battery backup

FAQ
Q) ROM is having bad RAM management?
A) It is due to so heavily tweaked. Play games then complain if it hangs or not.
Q) Pre-Integrated Dolby still doesn't work?
A) Uninstall it simply using system app remover I added in ROM and install Dolby from this thread.

yes, mine did not work as well. it seems that it does not create the data partition correctly, mine shows that the sdcard0 is unavailable. and hence wont boot.

My device has octacore ARM Cortex A-7 @ 1.66GHz ,Mali-450 MP and 5.5inch screen.

Hold power + home button and volume up to enter the recovery .
Dont swipe to allow modifcations!! use read only!
Flash Supersu and after that reboot to android.
Install Flashfire made by Chainfire, grant it root.
make a backup of data choose to storage that backup on your micro sd card! internal will be wiped!
Check on flash.
After that u a ready to flash the rom go to the recovery
Swipe to allow modifications and select dont show this again,format data, enter yes, After that go to install, select storage select micro SDCard where u stored the rom and the patch and than install the rom first
Wait till it finish and flash now the no-verity-no-encrypt_ashyx.zip
After that reboot and wait for like 10 a 15 min for it starts.
After it starts, u go to playstore and install flashfire and check on restore and restore the data partition.

finished the setup... gonna ride it all day and give you my feedback but from what I can tell right now, - it's a great work on deodex. no problem on flash, bootup, xposed (used latest wanam 87.1). fast, responsive but fluid with clear animations. very nice.
did you modify any system files beside deodexing?!

ROM works good, but I went back to my stock dutch firmware to be able to use VoLTE with my dutch provider.

Yes Tele2, but I'm going to swith to Vodafone next month.

If anybody out there knows something about porting Edge features, please contact me... I've been trying but so far no luck... one bootloop after another... used Note 7 port files because it's the only one with Grace UX and Marshmallow which is good for us... but the instructions/commands/lines on xda and those in throughout A5 files are completely different... major difference in services.jar and .smali files... anyone wants to get involved, you're always welcome and appreciated.

me personally, I was loosing connection 5 times per hour, now it's down to 10 times a day.
proximity sensor (during calls) also works better (close to ear). screen used to light up during phone calls.

I was testing your rom for a few days and i love it. But i had to flash firmware because i had isue with conectivity on network. In places where i had signal (on work), there was non and on some other places. I don`t know is this isue related with your rom base( firmware) ( country or carier) or something else. I was also contacting my carier to get mms and internet settings again and that they reboot my sim card. But did not work. Now im back on stock rooted.

Hi all, as anybody knows the pocket plus (S5301) only has one "stable" CM 10.1 ROM which was made by Xado some years ago and never had a working touch (because of that the rom was almost unusable). As I wasn't able to fix the Xado's CM10.1 ROM, I did this port.
THIS IS A WIP, A BETA so don't expect this thing to make your phone run like a high-end device. Please report any errors.
History:
Some time after releasing the Pocket Plus, Samsung released the Pocket Neo (corsica), which I noticed was the light of hope for this tiny device, as they're mostly hardware-compatible (and their sources are too). So I just said "what if I run a pocket neo ROM on my pocket plus?". Indeed, did that and worked at first (with non-working touch, wifi and others). This was a signal that I could use the kernel and ROM sources to give life again to the coriplus.
After fixing the corsica's device, vendor and kernel trees I was able to boot and use happily KitKat on my little device! Just see what works and what doesn't below.
Notes:
The kernel included with this ROM has overclock up to 1.3GHz enabled by default!
This ROM is based on Pocket Neo's LOS 11 ROM, because of this there are bugs.
I don't recommend installing GAPPS because they make any phone lag a lot. If you still want gapps, you're on your own.

Installation guide:
Put the phone in download mode by shutting it off, then Volume down + home + power until screen shows the warning and then vol up to confirm.
If you use Odin: select AP or PDA (2nd button, may vary on your version) and look for the cwm tar. After that, click flash and CWM will be flashed.
If you use Heimdall: open it, read phone's PIT and flash cwm-coriplus.tar to RECOVERY partition.
Boot the phone in recovery mode by keeping pressed Volume up + home + power, at the Samsung's logo release power but keep vol up and home until CWM boots
Copy the ROM zip (lineage-11-20blablabla.zip) to the sd card (or internal if you prefer). No space? It's fine, you can sideload it using ADB (see below)
Do a factory reset and wipe system
Select install update from sd card (or internal storage if you copied the ROM zip there), find the ROM zip and select it.
If you prefer to use ADB, you can just do 'adb sideload path/to/rom.zip' instead of copying the ROM zip to internal/sd. For installing ADB, just search on XDA
Wait until it goes back to start menu and select reboot.
The first boot may take some minutes (5~10) so be patient!

Hi, please NEVER quote whole OP post (instead just write on the comment box).
Also, please talk in English only. I understand spanish, but XDA Forums have the rule of talk using English.
About the problems, 1) it's already compatible with almost anything that runs on Android 4.4 and 2) I'll check later for the Status 7 error. If you didn't flash the CWM I'd include, please do it! Error 7 means that the device name is different in recovery and ZIP, so it needs to match (zip doesn't install if recovery doesn't report coriplus).
EDIT: Seems that you didn't install the included CWM, I've checked and both zip and cwm uses the coriplus codename (so it should work).

that error was my fault. i need to format and do fabric reset because of incompatibility with the other rom. so. the only problem is. my phone gets stuck at the mlx logo ;-;

I found some bugs: 1: Wifi is not working, 2: Bluetooth is showing near devices but you cant sync, 3: While the screen is off for a while it is constantly restarting. 4: SdCard is not recognized by (Device & PC). How can I make logs or help you to solve bugs?.

Thanks for you report, and sorry for late response! You can get logs by connecting device to PC and using adb logcat>logcat.log && adb shell dmesg>dmesg.log

Post updated, now Wi-Fi works!

That's why it has, at "Not working" section, an item called "RIL (might work but don't know)".
