Here are ODIN flashable, signed stock recovery images. Need to install an OTA but have TWRP, CWM, or some other custom recovery installed? You've come to the right place. Flash the recovery image from the version you're trying to update and you're good to go.

Noob question - which slot do we put this in to flash in ODIN? AP? I've never flashed just a recovery before.
(I'm in v3.09 so my options are PIT, BL, AP, CP, CSC, and UMS appears greyed out).
Thanks!
Edit - I'm an idiot. I did flash TWRP a long time ago and used PDA, which appears to have been renamed to AP. I would assume all recoveries will be flashed in PDA/AP so you can ignore my question.
Flash MFD Stock Recovery
I have been trying to install the OTA 4.3 and beyond. The phone keeps nagging me about installing 4.3 but it always fails. I figured out that it probably fails because I am running TWRP recovery. I downloaded the MFD Stock Recovery from SamuriHL's post to fix the stock recovery issue but I just noticed that my Baseband is I337MVLUAMDJ. That appears to be part of a Canadian firmware? My Kernel Version is 3.4.0-440244, [email protected] #160, Tue Jun 11 02:07:59 CDT 2013. I don't know if this kernel and baseband goes with the MFD Build. SamuriHL can you explain if this configuration is correct? The phone seems to work without issues in this configuration except for not being able to do OTA updates.
My question: Should I download and install the full stock firmware and recovery so the phone is completely stock? If so, SamuriHL can you supply a link to the complete firmware so I can make it a full stock phone?
I really appreciate your help. :fingers-crossed:
You should look in the forum. I've already provided the full stock images.

Need stock for Good For Enterprise - Unroot
I have Google Edition S4 in the US and need to unroot it as my work Good For Enterprise won't unlock with it rooted. I am assuming if I push one of these images, it will unroot, right? Two questions. I am unsure which one I should choose and how do I get back to 4.4.4 so I can get OTA updates in the future?
Sorry Partial Noob.

Um, nope. This won't help you in the least. You should install SuperSU from the play store and then use it's full unroot option.

I've gone back to stock samsung firmware because I need to send my Active in for repairs, however, It says I am running "Custom" under device status. I also still have CWM recovery when I boot into recovery mode.
How can I clear this so its appears to be stock again?

ODIN the stock firmware for 4.3, then use the ML2 modem fix, and use the OTA file, rename it to "update.zip" and use the stock recovery to flash it from external SD.
Use the stock firmware thread by @Devo7v under S4 Active General to obtain what you need. It should work so long as you dont like set your phone on fire somehow..

It is in his post under 4.3 and 4.4.2. You may have to flash to 4.3 and then use the OTA file. ODIN is very finicky sometimes..
Okay so i was going to install the rooted Lollipop but now the phone is stuck on the custom with unlocked lock screen after deleting the system and data to install but instead of installing i hit reboot and now i dont know what to do?? how do i get back into Safestrap recovery or is there another way to install the rooted Lollipop rom or even put back my 4.4.4 rooted rom?
I did the same thing. If you managed to install the 5.0 boot loader you're ****ed(I did). But if you haven't you can flash back to 4.4.2 using Odin to regain use of the device. Search the forum for the .tar. I'd link you but I'm on mobile.

No i did not install anything. I deleted my data, system, cache on the phone. I did backup all my data on my SD card on my computer so I do have the backup but I dont know how to restore to that backup without going into Safestrap. I can only get into download mode. I was on the OTA 1 rooted 4.4.4.

Downgrade to NCE Tar, flash in ODIN(download mode)
I am guessing I will have to install SM-G900A 4.4.2 G900AUCU1ANCE Firmware.rar via Odian and start from fresh??
EDIT:
Is this what i am looking for, G900A_Downgrade_to_NCE.rar just flash this in Odin?
G900A_Downgrade_to_NCE.rar
Input the extracted file into AP in ODIN and flash away. You will then be on NCE 4.4.2. Allow the OTA to NG3 then follow the steps to downgrade the Kernel to ND3 to allow root with Towelroot. Flash back up to NG3 Kernel. Install SU, Busybox and Safestrap. Then you can do the method to install the rooted backup image for 5.0.
Okay so i am installing G900A_Downgrade_to_NCE.rar now. After its done would i have to root and install safestrap and then install the rooted Lollipop via safestrap? or is there a quicker way?

After odin flashing the lollipop update you need to root with
cf-autoroot and then odin flash twrp 2.8.6.0 custom recovery.
However you don't need to odin flash cf-autoroot if you want
to flash one of the many lollipop custom zip file roms so only
odin flash twrp recovery, it's required for flashing zip file roms.
All the stock and custom lollipop zip file roms are pre-rooted.
Good luck!
Thanks!
I currently have android 4.4.4. should I Ota update then root and custom recovery first?

Yeah, cause if you root on 4.4.4...after you take the OTA...you lose root...so, might as well take the update first then root. If you are going to be using a custom ROM, you can just skip the root part and just go straight into getting a custom recovery...then just flash a custome ROM, which will of course already be rooted.

I'm going to try PopRocks.. can you expand on the 2. Odin Flash Auto Root ? I want to make sure I don't mess up.
1. Odin Flash Cod6 Stock Rom Base

2. Odin Flash Auto Root
3. Odin Flash Twrp 2.8.1.1 (link below)

Yeah, that just means to use Odin to flash the Auto Root file (it roots the COD6 Stock ROM from step 1). It's the same process as flashing the COD6 file. Check out the first Stickied Post in the General section....by @TEKHD. A very easy to follow guide with links to all the files you need.
I'm rooted and if i flash BL,CP,CSC through odin then will my twrp recovery stay without any problem? and I'll be in the oreo? currently I'm on a custom rom..
Yes you won't loose TWRP. You'll only loose it if you flash AP which contains stock recovery. Might be better of flashing CSC with TWRP using on of the CSC zips. Same goes for BL & CP, if you have an F, there are a few devs that have flashable zips for TWRP. I never use Odin to flash anything anymore, really no need if you have TWRP.
with twrp though, you can actually flash the wrong bootloader where as in odin it simply wont flash.
gotta be careful with those flashable zips...
as for csc, chances are that wont work as it needs to install it self via stock recovery update script after you flash. flashing bl and cp for your phone model should be insufficient. but that doesn't put you on oreo per say.
