Hey,
I've bought Star Trek into darkness from german Google play movies store. I've configured the movies app to play surround sound but when i stream the movie to the chromecast my receiver only plays two channel stereo sound. The CC is connected at the HDMI port directly at the receiver. How can i test if the movie has 5.1 sound and how can i test if the chromecast is able to play 5.1sound with my setup. I have a denon 1311 receiver.

Guess now you see me is only stereo. Had to get on computer to find this out as their is no where to see this on android. Star trek is 5.1 though. On my receiver if I put it in straight mode if it 5.1 the other speakers will light up on screen or only 2 if stereo.

In settings i have selected surround sound if possible. But it seems that the chromecast did not passthrough the sound or the movie has a codec my receiver cannot decode. Has someone a similar setup? German play movies with chromecast directly in AV receiver and 5.1 sound?

Hello, I installed Omar avelars rom, the latest one, but since I did that I can't manage to play music, videos or games on my earphones. I don't know what to do since I have already rebooted, and flashed the rom twice, please help!

Also, haven't managed to install busybox, I have tried with multiple installers and all fail, if you could help with that it would be awesome.
BusyBox is already added by Omar. Usual installers are made for Arm and will break our BusyBox.
You tried some different Headphones? I only listened Music via Bluetooth on the latest Build, but i never had issues on previous releases.

Yes, I have tried with multiple headphones, but for some reason none work just the default Motorola ones, I just checked. What version of busybox comes? And if it does, do you know if this cellphone can run dSploit? Or Net spoof?

Your Headphones are working on Stock Rom? It's well known, that the Port for the Headphones is a lil bit to easy to break on Moto Phones.

Yes, they worked just fine, but since I installed this it doesn't work, my beats or apple earphones, but the stock earphones do work. Thanks a lot, I really need to fix this, I listen to music very frequently so it's important for me to fix this

I only got the Moto Headphones @ work, but they are working fine here. Just tested it a couple of minutes ago. As soon as i connect them my Music starts playing and i can hear it.

All of those emulators have very slow framerate and are unplayable even on Xperia Z. Game Boy is working nicely and smoothly though, try "John's GBC" app.
Someone, could you please suggest me a good video player for 4.3.
I was using Dice player till date. It crashed after update. So went behind MX and it did the same. Could you please suggest me a good video player which is running good!?

One of my .mkv-s yesterday:
BS player - no sound, no matter what setting I choose
Vplayer - audio out of sync, SW decoding only, nearly burned my hand, CPU was constantly at cca 97% usage
Latest VLC nightly - plays nice, sync ok, around 45-50% CPU usage on default settings, 25-30% when in HW decoding mode...
How about Diceplayer? Support Android 4.3 . It seems no problem to play video file.
Yeah, I too was a big MX fan until I updated to 4.3. I'm sure MX will be updated soon. I am using BS for the time being.

when I am sitting in the car, and bluetooth from my car audio is on - I saw that "google search" on my gear does not work (tethering is activated on my Note 3).
When I switch off the bluetooth system on my car - then it works...
Any idea, what could be the reason ?

There was a mention that the Galaxy Gear can only handle so many connections at a time. It is dropping one to handle the other per your request most likely.

My 2 pcs of 1st gen have always worked great. No point in replacing them. Guess they have worked so great since they are rooted and never forced to be updated with buggy google version.

Can you check Screen mirroring?
I'm mirroring my Phone to my TV for some quick MS Office edits and it loses some frames here and there.
Can you do something similar with Chromecast 2015? Does it lag when doing whole-screen mirroring?
1 simple word: FASTER
loading is way more faster than gen1... the quality is better too, support 5GHz wifi (perfect for game in mirroring mode), boot faster....
It's not a v1.5 but a real v2! I've change my two Chromecast v1 for v2, it's day/night!
