i have recently bot the butterfly s
i m on an unlimited data bundle and i use Ttorrent to download files i have the pro version. yesterday i downloaded a movie and it was doin very well it completed then i kept to download songs but after some time the seems as if there is no connection to the ttorrent its doin nothin. but browser facebook an all working perfectly fine i don understand. and ya i cant even load the bike race game it jus keep signing in to FB but wont :S
i changed my netwrk put in another line all working fin go bak to the prvious network same issue m confused

okay i have the wing with Tzones with the proxy settings and i cant seem to get to any websites lyk google etc...none of my IM programs work even with changin tha port to 110...funny thing is "www.yahoo.com" works nd loads up but when if i click any links from there it says the same when i try to access any other websites " Error requested conent cannon be accessed. you do not have access to the site."umm yea so ive posted a bunch on HOward Forums but no one can seem to help me out on mayb what givs with this whole problem...i was wondering mayb if i flashed to a new ROM would it make a difference....any help is apprcieated.....thanks guys
Are you using 216.155.165.50:8080?
If so, then that's strange... unless t-mobile closed the hole in your area...
Either way, a third party ROM is always a good thing... unless you have the patience to go around and properly cleaning the wing ROM. (The WING ROM isn't that bad, it's just badly cluttered. My clean ROM is based on it.)
I went through a similar situation 2-3 weeks ago .... took about a week for everything to get back to normal.
Yea I'am using that proxy IP...i think ive like tried everything lol...I live in NY so idk if any1 thats around here can acutally connect using tzones...
NextPiMp...you say you had similar problem...but its now fixed??...did you do anything yourself to fix it or it just started working all by itself...the thing is i dont really feel like waiting 2-3 weeks for it to start working cause if it doesnt work by then im kinda paying for T-zones for nuttin ( although its 6 bucks it just feels like a waste )

I recommend getting Pocket ToolMan v2.0.21, then use it to set all three Connections Setting (T-Mobile Data, MMS, Modem) to Always On. This help with troubleshooting identify you have your t-zone setting correctly or if it's just not connected when you troubleshoot. I click on the Edge icon and it will show you that all 3 is connected.

my problems is i wanted to upload a 50 mb movie file which i recorded with my SGS to my youtube account.
thing is it will not allow me, coz it asks for wifi connection.
however is there a workaround this? or other applications to fix this?
sure you can, as long as you stay in a good conection area, you can easily upload the recorded videos on to youtube via 3G.... asuming you have a good data plan package
I have a good plan . But the phone seem to be programmed not to allow files over 3 mb to be uploaded over 3g.
I thought maybe there is a workaround this

this is correct. i have the same problem. its programmed in the phone that whenever u going to upload big movies to youtube it automatically requires wifi instead of 3g..

ok after i got on 2.3.4 i have several network problems.
1) i have an internet connection and when i open the market it says no internet conncetion "retry". When i reboot everything is ok. I can connect to market.
2) when i sign into Facebook for the Launcher pro widget i cant it says no internet connection. Reboot doesnt fixes it.
3) i cant sign in to Last.fm too. Again no internet connection. Reboot doesnt fix it.
4) also when i sync my contacts with facebook it has only like 10 people with downloaded pictures i sync like 20 times and nothing happens..
And i am absolutely sure that i have connection because in everyone of these cases i open the browser and i can connect to websites.
Can somebody please help me Is there a way that these programs are blocked to the internet and i have to unblock them manually ?
I agree. Since going to JVQ via kies I have found networking is no where near as good. I have to close FB and relaunch it to get the network to work. Word's with Friends quite often can't find the network. I get more missed calls than I used to. And regularly get errors in the browser. I's seriously considering going back to 2.2.1.

sounds like a modem issue so trying flashing a few modems with odin is your first point of call i would say
ok so iam currently using the 10.2 Darky, if i flash 10.3 i might get this fixed ?

No idea, as I said, look in the modern thread and see if you can get advice in good modems for your area and flash some different modems and see if that improved things, I know nothing about darkys other than it seems to break a lot of phones!

And by other reasons i had to flash JVQ again so it had the same problem for me, but its working fine now with JVR
Hi, so, i've got my xperia sp since 3 weeks, it's a very good phone.
But, since 4 days, my phone going to reboot with brown lines, like the LCD has broken, but he restart, normally, it happens when i use spotify or gmusic per example, it's agacing.
What cause this problem ? And sorry for my bad english, i'm a French guy :-/

Happens to me when I torrent or watch youtube videos, not related to wifi usage though because I can transfer 2gb files over LAN without any reboots... However I can't even download 100mb with torrents
Maybe it's a bug when the phone connects to too many IPs...

I think this is it, when i go to work, i can hear music with spotify ect ... i have not the WiFi, but it happens when i am to my home, maybe we can disable Dynamic IP in WiFi settings, i don't know :X i'm not professionnal :'(
