We already have 3 JB ROMs. What we need is a 3.x kernel

How come their ROM is running with 2.6.35 kernel? How come their camera is working with the same kernel?

Afaik you can get camera to run on our current too that should not be a problem. It is just missing some modules for front camera.
So not really an issue.
Also I say the same why port more roms we already have a couple ported roms and why would you want more? It will +- the same bugs on the ported one as it is on current. We need an AOSP 3.x kernel to fix most of the bugs.

[Q] tv out

which rom can support tv out ? Is it any 4.0.4 and 4.1.2 work. 4.2.2 doesn't not work
Only touchwiz (Samsung stock based) ROMS support mhl (TV out). 4.2.2 is also/cm/aokp etc and don't. Doubtful they ever will.

Back to stock

Hi guys, just wanna use my mhl cable to mirror my xperia z on the TV but as far as I know it only works with stock roms and I'm now using cyanogenmod 10, so is there any way to go back to my stock rom, or any custom rom working with mhl?

What is ftf I've heard of it but I still don't know what they are, and where do I get it from
They are roms that you flash to your phone via your pc using flashtool. If you go to the development section, you can download them.

Custom roms or stock?

Reviving Z1 PA 3.99 from Z1 Android Development Forum

I was wondering what would happen if I pull the boot.img from fully working with camera PAC 4.3 rom and replace the PA 3.99 ROM boot.img will the ROM work with functioning camera or will I get a bootloop or destroy my device?
If that doesn't work will using PAC ROM 4.3 as base work for a port?

If kernel is designed for same Android - 4.3 - it'll work.
It won't break anything as long as you have unlocked bootloader and you aren't flashing 4.3 kernel on 4.2 ROM.

[Q] Connect to TV via HDMI

For some reasons I want connect my phone to my TV throug HDMI cable . Is the vivid support it ? Is the CM 10.2 or Pacman 4.4.4 RC - 2 or other rom support it ? Should I buy the cable or not ?
Best wishes
No ROM but stock-based ones have successfully been able to use mhl. So, as to my knowledge, neither PAC ROM 4.4.4 nor cm 10.1 support it.

And about sense 4.1 ROM ?9
I don't know, have you searched through those threads?

Yes, the Vivid/Raider/Velocity supports MHL (Media High-Definition Link).
However, it only works on Stock Roms, you just have to buy a compatible MHL cable from your respective market and you're good to go.
Not necessarily stock ROMs only guys..rogers HTC raider originally, now s-off and running pac 4.4.4 BUT.. When I was running Blitz 2.5.0a (ICS rom) I was using a cheap Chinese mhl cable with no problems. Has anyone tried it for sure on any of the new ROMs? I have one still and am now tempted to test it out. Might have to dig through a couple drawers in a bit.
*edit*
Checked it out. At least on the PAC 4.4.4 kitkat rom mhl most certainly doesn't work. Ah well. But it definitely did on the Blitz ROM and I assume the sister ROM pegasus would also work as they're built from the same source. I thoroughly enjoyed Blitz and it was my dd for quite some time.
