[Q] Nova launcher problem on pac man Rom? - Sprint HTC One (M7)

When I use nova as a main launcher or apex when I press the home button it double clicks the home button and opens up the home screen panel instead of the home screen only on pac man rom

"home screen panel"?
Do you mean the expanded view?
Check buttons and gestures in Nova Settings and see what pressing the home button does.

B&N Launcher shortcut

Hello, I have tried searching with no luck. I currently have Zeam installed and would like to somehow make a shortcut to the stock B&N launcher, so I can switch between the two quick. I know there is home switcher, but I don't want to have to access a separate program to switch home screens. I want to get to it from the zeam home screen. Thanks in advance.
I don't think you can do that unless you use home switcher.
Sent from my LogicPD Zoom2 using XDA App
If you have SoftKeys installed, you can set different homes for the hardware N button and the SoftKeys home button. I have mine set so that the SoftKeys home button takes me to the B&N stock home, and the hardware N button takes me to Zeam.

I also use softkeys. Currently I'm set up so that a single press of the N button brings up softkeys. A short press on the softkeys home key takes me to Zeam and a long press takes me to the B&N launcher. Also, a quick double tap of the N button will take me straight to Zeam.
Like one of the other posters said, I don't think that there's an elegant way to place a shortcut on the Zeam home screen. A more "hackish" solution would be to remove the default action for your N button press. That way when you press the N button, it will prompt you to choose either B&N or Zeam.

[Q]how to go to this screen

how To get to this screen mind to teach me pls thanks
you can either pinch to zoom out, or touch menu soft key and select edit
I think it also depends on what launcher you're using.
TouchWiz has that option if you press your settings button on your home screen and press Edit. TouchWiz 'edits' pages like that.
I know LauncherPro has that sort of screen by pressing the home button.

[Q][HD+] Nav menu button on home screen does nothing?

After getting CM 10.2 onto my HD+ (quickly, easily, and with zero hiccups, much to my surprise and relief, thanks to many here!), and installing the Apex launcher, I've discovered that if I add the menu button to the navigation bar, tapping it does nothing when I'm on the home screen. This is odd because on my Nook Color and my Captivate (both on CM 10.1.2), tapping the menu button while on the home screen brings up the Apex Menu. Did the behavior of the menu button on the home screen change between 10.1.2 and 10.2? Or am I missing one key setting somewhere?

Trigger task by pressing home button when on home screen

I am trying to create a profile where I can add an extra function to my home button when on the home screen. But I can't get Tasker to react to home button press. I have tried both AutoInput and TouchTask, but none of them give any reaction. As I am using a Huawei Mate 9 Pro, which has a fingerprint scanner as a home button (no physical press, just touch/finger print), I have also tried both Fingerprint Scanner Tools and Fingerprint Quick Actions. They both work, momentarily, but after a short while the stock functionality takes over.
Does anybody know of a way to get tasker to react to home button/fingerpress press, only when on home screen, given the above limitations?
EDIT:
Fingerprint Scanner Tools works as a plugin to tasker (some times), but NOT when on home screen.
So, what's up with the app you mentioned in your other thread? https://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=3603433
Didn't work as intended?

Nope. I got the intent stuff to work fine, but the custom home function work like crap...

That's a very good suggestion, I did not think about that! :good:
Nova can directly run Tasker tasks as a shortcut. I used to set it up to run a task when I swipe up on an icon.
And I just tried it, you can connect this behaviour to the home button, too.

You can use a launcher like Hyperion or Lawnchair. They both have that option.

Thank you.. let me try
Nova Launcher also can do this...
You can also use the app called Tap Tap to double tap the back of the phone to turn off the screen.
Double Tap, Playstore no adware or internet connection; clean.
Double Tap - Apps on Google Play
Easy to turn on/off screen without power. Not affected to unlock by fingerprint
play.google.com
Not sure if it works with Q and 11 though.
