Updating to KL8 HELP NEEDED PLASE!!!

Hi,
I flashed my galaxy note using cfroot and had cwm installed.
Downloaded Mobile odin from the market also kl8 from here...

Now I flashed my Note with the "CODE" tar file.
I did select ever root.
I have lost all my apps and cwm, I have superuser tho.
What did I do wrong? Why did I lose all data? How do I get cwm back?
Please I need help... anyone?

This filmware is not rooted. Rooted it again with chainfire root. Wy did you do it like this? There are a lot of flashble kl8 with cwm.

So once I get the flashable kl8 with cwm i just need to follow the same mobile odin procedure like I did earlier?

Just download Checkfus (google) and get it from there.
Pretty straight forward program. Select Android, then GT-N7000, then the region you want and download

You are saying is for Stock ROM
He asking is modified version, pre rooted by CF

i downloaded dis file to root my galaxy note n7000... but i am not able to xtract a .tar file from there as is required by odin... all i get is a .img file ... have tried all image readers bt unable to xtract... please help as to how to xtract .tar file from this ZIP

Hi Dr.,
I tried your full ROM link several times, but it broke down in the middle several times.
Anyway I manage to find that the tool is just an easily downloadable exe. Thanks for your time.

i use winrar bro...i dunno why but it says unknown method sumthing like that. first time im experiencing this problem

Seems like its a corrupted file which you had downloaded. Try downloading from www.sammobile.com

Try 7zip, attached to OP of stock ROM thread.
Edit : here it is
And if you need just kernel only, here it is (It contains kka, la4, la6, kl7, lb1, lb2 )

knoxraid missing file

I downloaded the coming from jb zip and extracted it. All of the files are there except one called
CP_N900AUCECMLG.tar
There is one called
SM-N900A_NC2_Modem.tar
Am I supposed to use that one in the cp since the other is missing from the zip?

Yes, you can also check out other flashable modems in one of the threads in development section.

You have to get that file from the already on kitkat link. Had the same issue.

PIT file

Firstly, congratulations to geohot!! Along with the rest of you, I've been waiting so long for this and I'm overjoyed at this breakthrough.
I have a problem however - I bricked my phone about a month ago and I need the pit file to revive it. Now that root has been achieved, it should be possible to get the pit. So now I'm humbly asking for anyone who can get the G900A pit file to please share it with me.

What firmware version do you have? If you have the right one (G900AUCU2AND3) do you mind dropping the entire thing for me and for future use?

I do have that firmware version, but I'm not sure what you're asking for. Are you looking for the whole ROM? Is the flash back to stock thread the wrong version (I haven't looked)?

I need the PIT too!
Hey man were you able to fix it? I am in the same error as you and have tried anything and thinking maybe the PIT file might help me.
Were you able to obtain it? If so, would you mind sharing it with me?
