Hey Guys I M New In Here
I Have Xolo A500s android 4.2, Ram 512mb, GPU Mali400mp, 4Inch.
i m gaming boy so for playing 3d n hd games in this phone i root it
after root i install chainfire 3d pro n open click install tap and phone going restart phone ok
after that Phone Is stuck Xolo Logo. And nothing happen In restor/format set boot setting.
So Plz Help Me.

Chain fire 3d has issues with MTK chip set....all xolo and iris devices face boot loops after installing it cause all are mtk based. Even factory reset won't help you.
Why the hell did you even install it...it's of no use on that phone...you don't need it to play 3d games...it's used to fix color issues or reduce textures. A500 is a good device and doesn't require it.
Have a zip of stock ROM and install it...your phone will be good.

Ask in your thread or your group on FB for stock ROM and the method to install it.
And don't just say thanks ..press it.
It will encourage people to help you.

Then tell your friend to browse the phone group for stock ROM.
If he wants to repair his phone then he surely search and strive for it.

I used the 6.3n based. had no prob whatsoever and you wont regret it. just make sure u did backup in cwm, and the necessary wipe. update to latest 6.39n from huexx blog after u flash

the easiest way to do is
1. install ROM Manager from Play Store.
2. open the app
3. choose install rom from sd
4. make sure to check all the box that pop up (backup,wipe data,cache)
5. click ok and allow it to boot into recovery and automatically run the process

I think u should first flash CWM recovery. In ROM Manager app, on the first line, hit the "Flash CWM recovery" then it will say current version of CWM that u have. Thats a message indicate that u have install the CWM recovery. with that, should be no prob to flash rom with this app from sd card. Not necessarily to have the premium version of rom manager. free version will do the job.

On this guide find "Install Custom ROM's" section ... All you need to know is in this guide !!!

Just picked up one of these XOLO A500S models.
I would like a custom ROM as well.
How can I dump my original to send you?
I also have the same model. It seems to be a nice phone so far (1 month approximately).
Is this method suitable for taking the mentioned ROM dump? I can try doing this if anyone can confirm :

I want to install a custom rom for that I have downloaded the ios7 rom for that ..
But I am unable to boot my mobile into the recovery mode.
I have tried the mobile uncle tool with the recovery image file ..but mobile just getting reboot not getting in recovery mode...please help me ...

Framaroot didnt work for me so i found a rooting tool called RootX somewhere here in XDA.. it rooted the device properly but the tale ends not here... after rooting, the phone started to reboot anytime without reason.. sometimes constantly until i removed the battery!! Somehow, i unrooted it using some apk from play store & gave phone a factory reset!! its okie now but without root... :crying:
I am starting a new thread.. u can subscribe the same if u want to root the same device! but i strongly recommend DON'T try to root the device by using untrusted or unknown software... it might brick your device!

Did you try the updated version of framaroot? Apparently this guy here has had success in rooting his device. I'm yet to hear from him about the process and the result.
