I have today made my own cable And its working like a charm. Thx for reading.

Sorry for a stupid question. Why you need this cable?

Thisis what I did as a workaround: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2465642

What should be done to get access again in PC?
Set USB debugging on. Plugin phone. You should see a popup on the top of the screen asking you to mount your sdcard.
Those actions were done. As you could see from the screenshot, he was able to use adb shell via usb connection. But "ls /sdcard" shows nothing but returning to #.

From here the Post 1 shows a picture.

Looks like there is nothing in the "sdcard"

i hade the same issue. i thought it was hardware, but its the rom. i had miui 1.9.9 and it wouldnt even charge via usb. so i eyeballed the usb port and it was fine, so i switched to LGB 1.whatever. then the usb mounting worked agian, but the charging still did not work so i switched to OMFG and that did the trick. then i charged my phone overnight on a 12v charger and my phone never booted agian. good thing im due for an upgrade!
Some times my phone don't access to the sdcard when I have activated usb debug

As long as you can charge it your USB port is not broken. Did you mean USB cable?
You can't flash kernels at x8 without USB cable,so I'm afraid you need one
1. Try to use another usb cable
2. Clean your usb connector with a small brush (for example toothbrush)
3. If you can clean it with special cleaner (electrical contact cleaner)
4. If you unlucky, your connector is broken (not the whole connector, only the data+ and/or data- pin), and need to find a technician who have equipment to change the connector, or send to a service center.

[Q] Windows cannot recognise my HTC when in bootloader

I am using the HTC One Toolkit but when I select the "Get Token ID" option, I am taken to the bootloader but I get the following message on my laptop...

I installed the correct drivers and have even followed this post with no luck. I also tried different USB cables but no luck there. I even formatted my laptop, re-installed windows 8 and installed all the correct drivers. But nothing seems to be fixing this issue.
Can anyone help?
Thanks
P.S. I have 4 USB ports and they all say "SS" above them (with one saying "SS" with a lightning icon next to it), so I'm not sure if they're USB 3.0 or 2.0.

If the USB ports are blue then they're USB 3 and which may be the cause of the problem you're experiencing.... SS probably means superspeed which is USB 3

Well none of them are blue but a Google search shows that they're ALL usb 3.0
I'm currently trying an alternative method I found in the link I posted in my OP.

The picture indicates that the windows drivers aren't installed correctly.
If the device doesn't charge at ac charger it could be damaged.

Device bricked?

Hi,
I think that I might have screwed up my device. I followed all the steps for updating the BIOS and everything looked to be fine but now it boots with this:

"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",

}
Is it bricked?
Thank you
Can you enter the BIOS by hitting the ESC-Button on the virtual keyboard like in your picture? Or use the otg cable with a USB keyboard and hit the ESC-button.
As fas as I know, the device isn't bricked because you can see this image
Try mireks v7 flasher in dnx mode and reinstall android.

DON'T do that - as you know it doesn't help at all! Wait for ionioni.

Thanks to both of you.
As @blackbile said, I will wait until ionioni's fix.
But I would like to acquire a reflashing device. Could you please recommend me one?
I have bought this one, but not received yet: http://www.ebay.com/itm/331739681388?_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT

And could you recommend the clamps? You know, to connect the device to the Tablet's EEPROM.
Thank you in advance
Well it depens on you... if good quality and reach the pins of the IC then it is a good thing!
I read that somebody received weak quality clamps, I can solder at my work, so if I need to use the flasher, I will solder it.
I did not buy it.
the SPI is 1.8V

Are these a good clamps for using with the programmer that @blackbile recommended?
