How emulators run on this device?

Hello, i dont have this phone yet but i have it on my list.
My question its how emulators run on this phone? I know tegra3 will have problems
with some apps on EA and gameloft but how it runs on emulators?
I dont mean snes,nes,sega...i mean on the heavy ones
Like n64oid, FPSE with opengl, PPSSPP, mame4droid reloaded or any experimental
emulator like Nintendo DS, Dreamcast, etc.
But mostly on n64 and FPSE with opengl its my question.
Because i want a new cellphone for emulators and youtube...and my current options
are this or motorola razr i
Thanks by the way, and sorry for my bad english.
I'm using PPSSPP a great and promising emulator of PSP and Dragonball Z Shin Budokai or Pes 2012 are lagfree however you have to change the settings to play with no lags.
I also tried Dsoid, a Nds emulator, which runs perfectly with all games I tried

I tried PPSSPP after I saw your post to play my favourite game Loco Roco. It runs smooth but with distorted graphics. Can you recommend any settings to play it with proper graphics?
Sent from my LG-P880
Under settings go to the graphics settings and desactivate the buffered rendering this will improve a lot your graphics also active the stream VBO
I also choose the big buttons cause the buttons are too small for me
That's all I think I do

If n64, psx, gba and all those emulators ran lag-free on my xperia play, they wont lagg with lg 4x

You can activate the buffered rendering, that will decrease your graphics but will improve the performance. You can also play with the settings of the app to see which configuration fits you perfectly.
You can change your governor to "performance" too.
I do not know this game but he may be a little bit to recent to work smoothly on our phone.
For example, I can play Pes 2013 but it is a bit laggy and i have to change de settings

PPSSPP is only in beta so lags can caused by the program, and its not all compatible with every PSP games. I dont tried all emulators but i think all casual game emulators are lag free.

That's true but even if PPSSPP is still in beta stage it can be lag free on a lot of game which are not too recent.

It is still in beta stage, its performance will be improved

But i also visited the offical ppsspp Website and the game is supported...
Btw: the laggs are only in some parts oft the game, an Earl little Stage is running 100% smooth and With awesome graphic. But the Main game laggs..:/

FF7, Medievil and Figting Force... No lag... Played it when I was on CustoNexus.. Now, I'm on Slimbean + werewolf kernel... It still plays good*Tested Fighting force*... As usual my only problem is device heating on gaming sessions....

If you want to reduce the heat, you can undervolt try different combination of scheduler and governor, that may solve your problem.
However, I have to admit that my phone heats up a lot when I play heavy games and charging (with fast charge) at the same time.

Nah.. No matter what tweaks we will do, there will still be heat on our device. I'm convinced that the 40nm on Tegra 3 is to blame.. Though I haven't tried playing on device with 28nm process though...

Xperia V low gaming performance

I can play very smoothly Fifa 12 with Xperia ARC but Xperia V have low fps. You can feel game is inconsistent. Have anyone noticed?
Same here but I don't think it's about the phone. Fifa 12 lags on newer phone since the developer didn't want to fix their game. Look at the ratings. My father's GSIII also lags..

My GTA:Vice City app has the same issue. Don't know what is causing it as yet, everything was fine before the last update. Now my phone is totally screwed up.
Play it on the stock ROM, i've finished the game already, the main problem will be the heat and throttling which will reduce FPS.

gpu overclock?

the sony xperia sp have the gpu andreno 320 at the clock of 400 mhz but this gpu you can over clock it on a lot of device like sony xperia z and galaxy s3 but on the sony xperia sp you cant overclock it because of the kernel
can you make a kernel compatible with the gpu oc ??
Why would you want to oc the adreno 320? Can't it handle all games smoothly?

Try to use this DooMKenrel , I'm using that all games run perfectly

[Q] Temple run 2 framerates are really bad, is it just me?

I think it's fair to say that this phone benches like a beast. I get good scores from all the benchmark apps like antutu and so on. However, Templerun 2, the only game I play, is no less than shocking. It's stuttery with constant loss of frames and I have no idea why. Compared to a Moto G LTE which I have, which has lower specs which plays it smooth as butter.
I can't get my head round this, does anyone else notice the same thing?
If you're using stamina with "extended usage" ticked, untick that. Or restart your phone and then play the game. I played Asphalt 8 on high graphics and other graphic intensive games. I don't see why TR 2 would lag

Hi, not using any power saving, and it's the same even after factory reset. Just seems to be an odd incompatibility or something I think.
