I have Rogers Moto X. I officially unlocked the bootloader and the rooted it on day 1.
I've read through 2 forum topics related to the update, but I'm still not sure what my options are.
Is there a way I get get the update installed now? Or, do I need to wait for Rogers to release to update and unroot and then update and then (hopefully, if it can be done right away) reroot?

I rooted my ATT HTC one. Now If I want to get future updates for my HTC one, is it possible with having the bootloader unlocked and rooted? My software says I am on 1.26.502.10 and when I go to software update and ATT update it says there are no updates found.

As long as you have stock recovery, stock ROM, and don't remove anything from the stock ROM(like say deleting, rather than freezing, a piece of bloatware), then you'll be able to receive OTAs from AT&T and install them like normal. Note: This may, and probably will, break root. Easy to fix on the One, but just wanted to make you aware.
AT&T has not released any new updates for the phone since the device launched.
Thanks!
Man after a fun 2 hours getting my phone back to stock, now I'm wondering, does the 1.29.xxx update even apply to my particular device? Mine is an AT&T, with version 1.26.502.12. It was until i used the RUU to regain stock and lose root. But everything i've scoured mentioned updates to 1.29.401 and an update to the Dev version. My version isn't even listed of the RU variants list

So, would anyone explain to me, WTF? Is the 1.29 update not meant for my phone? I've run the device updater several times and it says my phone is up to date. I guess I'm asking primarily because I read that this update helps fix some issues like the responsiveness of the back button.
You have to wait till att approves the update, some carriers can be very slow with approving updates. You cannot install updates which are not meant for your carrier, but since you are already unlocked you can just install a custom rom and enjoy the updates all the same.

I also have a Rogers Moto X with an unlocked Bootloader. I've flashed the T-Mobile Update that's floating around and it froze my phone, I had to factory reset using the stock images for my phone.
I'd just sit tight and wait.

Doesnt mention Eye Ex. But it says Google security so i guess its 4.4.4
I have yet to receive it. But I am constantly pushing the check update button
☝same here
The HTC Software Updates page shows that the Eye Experience update for the Sprint variant is currently in the certification stage. I don't think we'll get it until a day or so.

EDIT: For some reason, the 3.30.651.2 update info was removed from the Sprint Update page.
that is weird
Good news guys! OTA will be rolling out later on tonight!

Take a look through the thread in the link below. You'll need to reinstall the stock Android system recovery before you can take the OTA, and also need to be running a stock rooted ROM. However, since you're S-off you can install the newest firmware and then install a ROM based off the latest update. Beats having to go back to stock and re-root your phone

just got an OTA notice. Safe to install on a rooted phone?
If not, what is the method to install it safely?
Why did you get an OTA update for Verizon if you are using a TMobile G4 ?
actually, I dunno what the build is coz I haven't installed it. Just assumed it was the same based on the release date. Silly me.
In any case, I have the OTA update waiting on the phone and would like to install, if it's safe to do on a rooted G4.
