That depends... Are you using 5hrs screen time or 1? Do you have great cellular service for that 24hrs or are you at 1 or 2 bars?
I can tell you, that the past few days I have had everything on... Wi-Fi, BT etc... Screen brightness at auto and have been getting 3-4 hours screen time, 1 hour talk time 16-18 hours off the charger and plugging my phone in at night with 20-30%. Stock, non rooted.

Battery life

I have just been on the htc website and they claim a massive 26.2hours of talk time or 1574mins on gsm or 1061 mins on WCDMA, can the battery really be this good with 2300mah? what do you guys think.
http://www.officialhtcstore.com/uk/p_htc_microsite_specification.aspx#content
If you ask me then yes! I have 6 hours continous video playback on my phone with a 1500mah lithium polymer battery device.
Its a lithium polymer, so yes.

Wait! LOL 26hours of talktime? Prolly only 12 to 14hours. 26hours is way too much for this phone.

Thats my point, it sounds very optimistic to get 26hours talk time out of it, im not too clued up on li-poly and li-lon batteries though so thats why i asked.

Here's a comparison between the two.
I have an S4 phone with a li-ion. If I'm lucky, I can make it to the end of the day with power left over.
My friend has an S4 Pro with li-poly. He can go 4 days with the same kind of usage I do, and he isn't even at 50% yet.

Thanks very much for the info guys, I am really looking forward to the htc one.

He must either have secondary battery or have the mobile data turned off except when he uses internet. 4 days with only 50% juice is very unrealistic and unheard of.

Optimus G, so not possible. We both go into places with horrible signal (mostly buildings we drop to horrid 3G or roam in) and that eats at our batteries most.
I've had phones go 2 weeks with no usage, 3 days with light (only calling/texting) usage before.

Average on screen time?

Just curious what is everyones average on screen time for the i9305t?
I am averaging 2 and a half hours which i believe is piss poor...
Yeah I think that you're doing something wrong, I get a good 8 hours out of 24 hour battery, a longer battery if I use my screen less

how is that possible? 8 hours of your screen ON. Maybe my phone is a dud or something. Running 4.1.2...
mine says 4 hrs before battery completely drains

I would say I get anywhere between 3 and 4 hours screen time depending on how I use my phone.
Sent from my GT-I9305 using XDA Premium HD app
Most times around 4 hours screen on time and 20 hours standby. My maximum where 5 hours screen on and 24 hours standby. But everyone has different apps, syncs.

Install BBS and check what eating your battery. Make sure your system runs without wakelocks. Some apps syncing a lot so check them all in BBS.
I'm getting 3hrs if I play games (Asphalt 7 etc) for more than 2hrs with brightness half way up only.... Normal usage without games and Auto brightness to minimum I'm getting 3-4 hrs over 24hrs (including 1hr+ voice calls)

Best battery life ever!

So, I got a day off today and spent my day reading and browsing some company crap. Wifi was on all day. Below are some screens of this. My nexus 4 is the 212k before anyone asks.
What rom kernel combo you using? Screen brightness all the way down?

I had it all the way down for about half the time(indoors) and auto for the rest. Stock ROM with Matr1x 8.5. Airplane mode was on though(only for GSM signals, didn't want any calls on my day off, so I used viber for who I wanted to talk to)
46% left. Using pacman with faux kernel. Wifi on the whole day

Battery life is incredible. Post your results here.

This is with screen on full brightness, moderate use, all sensors, sync enabled, and on mobile data. Leaps and bounds over E4GT.
Edit: battery is at 57% still

My battery life actually hasn't been that great, almost equal to my S3 if not worse :/

3hrs 13mins. About 30 minutes of that was using the camera.

Agreed. Mine has blown my E4GT away in battery life, and I haven't even been using the little tricks like turning data off when I'm at work yet.
I normally would have to plug mine in by noon after being unplugged since 7am. And that was screen halfway dimmed and barely any use

Zerolemon 3000mah = win
I agree. Compared to my 3D, AMAZING. Walked out of work at 6PM, it had just dropped below 60% and my 3D would get to that point by 11:30AM.

I'm consistently getting 5 hours of screen time, which I'm pretty happy with. Haven't ever ran it all the way to zero, so could probably get a little more.

All phones have ****ty battery life when you're hacking and popping bursters everywhere. But my GS4 has done the best so far!
I'm excited to see it. I'll leave my house with a full charge, and streaming radio over 3G to my bluetooth headset for 2 hours and browsing the web for 20 minutes knocks my Evo 3D down to 30%.

How?? I only get 4 hrs of screen on time when I have wifi on, power saving mode on, and have brightness at the bare minimum.. Did you 5 hr screen timers do something else to your device like disable sprint bloatware or something?
Sent from my SPH-L720 using Tapatalk 2
Not doing anything special here. Haven't removed any bloat yet, not using power saving mode, using auto brightness.
Maybe I just have a strong signal. Weak signal can cause the radio to ramp up power and chew up a lot of battery...

This. Turning data off when I'm at work (in a thick building) makes a ton of difference.

Will try especially since I have wifi access at work. But yes, I do have a not so great data connection in my area with sprint.

Does killing the data make it impossible to send SMS?

Battery Improved Dramatically

Installed the latest firmware for the Gear, light use for about 8 hours today (about 20 notifications on vibrate) plus a 30 second phone call, battery shows 99%.
mk7? I've only ever used it so no idea what the battery was like before that!

Wow that's amazing. Only 1 percent in 8hrs? It usually takes me about 30-40 percent. Im on mkv7 version also

Sorry that cant be right
1% over that period
I believe it. If he only got 20 notifications. I imagine the screen would only have been on a few minutes in total..
Sent from my GT-N7100 using Tapatalk
I finished the day with 79% left (18 hours); received about 100 notifications in total (vibrares and screen comes on for a couple of seconds), couple of phonecalls, checked the time quite often. Could be a fluke, but will keep an eye on it for the next couple of days.
Sent from my GT-N5110 using xda app-developers app
I also believe it. I've made it through a full day with most common notifications active with light to moderate use and ended the day with 85%

One thing I have found useful is to check the screen on time in the battery stats to compare usage better. On my phone if I only have the screen on 2-5 minutes all day, even with getting lots of notifications battery life is a lot better.
I believe that the gear will display 99% battery at the end of day 1 but is certainly not accurate - if it were, the battery would last 100 days! My gear also shows 99% at the end of day 1 but after this declines more rapidly - can usually get around 3 days out of it in total
Sent from my GT-I9505 using Tapatalk
Stock gear with latest firmware, at the end of my 14 day trial. I typically get 3 days battery use, with constant BT on. I set it to update weather every 3 hours. 20 notifications plus 7 calls a day with vibrate or low sound. Don't use many of the apps. Was going to return it to ATT today, until I stumbled on the Gear forums. Now I gotta root and flash
