Headset (Bluetooth or Wired) doesn't work - Nook HD, HD+ Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Although the headset speakers *sometimes* works, but Mic never does. Tried several regular wired headsets as well as Bluetooth, but same problem.
I'm running CM 10.1 Stable.
Is there any fix available? I absolutely need this to make skype calls.
Thanks!

Reroute sound to bluetooth mic?

So, I've been trying to use my BT headset and a voice recorder but Diamonds seems to use only its internal microphone and not BT's one. Jabra BT 3030 (dogtag) is the device I'm using. There are wireless stereo and handsfree profiles in BT settings which are both checked.
Why I can't record my voice with Jabra? Is there a software way to make it use Jabra's microphone?
Apart from this everything else (calls and streaming music) works fine.
No ideas? Anybody? I sent the problem to Jabra/HTC support but didn't get nothing concrete as an answer.
I can't believe that bluetooth device's microphone can't be used for recording?
The same thing worked on Symbian Nokia device I used before...

I tried it to make it possible to talk with voiceclips in the live messenger, trough the headset, works perfectly. Axel

[Q] Multiple Bluetooth headsets?

I am trying to avoid re-pairing my bluetooth headsets when I switch them.
My original bluetooth setup includes a hands-free hook-up to my Prius, and a stereo BT headset (with mic). I have recently been trying different earpiece headsets for traveling.
I had no problem alternating with my stereo headset and my car, but when I try an earpiece it asks for a pairing code. When I pair with it it works fine, but when I switch back to the stereo headset I have to re-pair it.
It sounds like there is some limitation on how many BT devices the Captivate can remember?
FWIW I am running JH7 rooted.
Any thoughts on this?

Bluetooth headset?

Since there is Bluetooth support with CM7, is there any way to get a headset to work with the nook? would be nice to use it to make calls.
I'm not sure if BT headsets are fully functional yet. CM7 recognizes my LG headset and connects to it, but whenever I press the button on the headset the NC pops up with the speech input dialog and disconnects.

Last I heard, microphones aren't working. Should be able to use it as a headphone, but probably not to make calls or anything.
Bummer, maybe one day

Bluetooth Hands Free Problem

I have a problem using the bluetooth on my Optimus 2X in the car.
Bluetooth audio works fine for playing music from the phone through the car stereo, but when I try to use the hands-free function built into the car, there is no audio. Calls dial properly, including voice dialling, but there is no sound! I cannot answer calls because no ring tone sounds! There is no sound at the phone, so it thinks it is using the car.
I am using CM10.1.
I was previously on CM7, which worked properly.
I have tried an old Sony Ericsson K800i in the car, and that performs flawlessly, so the bluetooth hands-free sound problem is definitely at the phone end rather than the car.
Any help appreciated.
Thanks.

It's a well known problem common to many JB 4.2.2 (and thus CM 10.1). The devs are working hard to resolve this problem but no solution yet.
The best ROMs for Bluetooth are the ones based on JB 4.1.2 (CM10)

Thanks for the reply. I'll give CM10 a go.

Phone calls with bluetooth headset don't work

When making calls with the bluetooth headset, the headset switches in the call-mode, but sound is not working. Both microphone and speaker. I've tried it with 2 different headset and both worked with my previous phone.
Playing music over bluetooth works flawless.

Is the Audio from calls enabled in your bluetooth profile of that connection?
Is this your only bluetooth connection at that time? Mine is able to connect to 2 bt audio devices at the same time, making both unusable, no matter what i do. As soon as i disconnect one connection it starts to work again.
Bluetooth handling seems to be bit glitchy atm
