Hi guys, like the title says the last couple of days my battery has been really terrible. I'm currently running PAC 4.3 + yank's kernel. A few weeks ago when I installed both rom & kernel I had AMAZING battery life. Like, 24 hours+ and still 20-30% remaining.
Today I listened to music on the way to college for like 15 minutes (screen was off obv), checked my mail and other social networks in the morning when I woke up and again when I reached college. It was around 50% at that time which is crazy for me already. Then I leave my phone on my desk when I go for lunch and when I come back I have only like 23% remaining. While I took the below screenshots, it already down to 19 -.-
Just wondering whether anyone could help me understand these ss? The weird part is that I had really really good battery life a week ago but I didn't change anything much really. Thanks in advance!

Hi guys,
I charged battery till fully charged yesterday and I went to flash a firmware upgrade which took about 15 minutes in total and thereafter when my phone restarted, it showed me 39%, a huge 61% drop during this process and I checked the battery voltages in fastboot getvar all and using gsam battery app, it still showed me 4.2-4.3V which is usually a full charged battery. Now after charging a while, it suddenly goes back to 100%, any idea is this normal? This is the first time this is happening.
Hope to get some help and advice around here, thanks guys.

After charging over an hour, suddenly it shows up at 100%
You need to re-calibrate your battery. There are a few different ways I've read people doing it. I usually just let it totally drain, then charge it to full again without messing around with it. You may want to search for a proper method.
How much battery does your HTC ONE drain when your screen is on?
Mine drops about 3% every 10 minutes (18% per hour) sitting on the home screen. This means I get only 5 hours (and a bit) screen on time.
Every review out there states 8-9 hours of video playback, but I do not even come close to that.
When the screen is OFF it only drains about 5% for 8 hours (or 0.625% per hour), and this seems very normal to me.
This happens on stock 4.1.2 firmware and on ARHD 12 (4.2.2).
Normally I wouldn't worry about it too much, but the HTC ONE has a non-removable battery so I want to make double sure the battery is ok.
So what say you? Do I experience normal or excessive battery drain with screen on?
Five hours of screen in time is normal for me over an 18 hour day.

Anyone else please?

Hello guys, finally i have found a good workaround for this issue which affect most of nexus 4 devices.
Let me explain the scenario : Leave the phone in deep sleep for some minutes and try to send a notification, you will get it delayed. Also you can try to ping your device via Computer, you will notice the ping average very high
Below the workaround. Install this app https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.gejos.android.wakemyandroidpro
Set it like the screenshots below

"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
Leave the app active, you will have a wakelock every 29 seconds which wake your phone from death sleep (no notifications), without screen goes on (its an invisible wakelock)
You will notice an improvement in notifications no more delayed more of 60 seconds.
Important This app could drain your battery a bit, but still better to turn off wifi optimization which makes your battery life ****ty and android os in battery stats. Im on hellscore and im getting an awesome battery life with this app (1 day of medium usage) .Try to believe.
Cheers, Xda_Emanuel
Thank You Emanuel. Will try and report back.
Ive seen good time remaining screen shots in those review. But i think mine is not that good enough. I have my bluetooth, mobile data, nfc, location, 4g. I sometimes on wifi for checking sites.
Ive seen 5days and 18 hrs of estimated batt time in android beat's review (and he dont turn on the stamina mode!) but mine is only 2 days with stamima mode and 1 day for non stamina mode.
Btw, this is only my first charge. any tips guys? Thanks!
Edit:
This is the screenshot of android beat. With 40% remaining, his phone manage to estimate of 5days and 18hours battery life.

First image doesn't work, please fix the tag. You shouldn't look at the estimated time, because it really doesn't mean much.

here it is. yeah I guess so I shouldnt look. But why is it like that?
Suggest the OP would use one of the many threads already in this forum to keep it clean and tidy.
No use to start a new one for each and every phone...
I've had this phone for about a week and this is the first instance where my phone has gone down to 10% battery in the matter in 8 hours with what I can only describe is light use. I get a few emails, most of the time it sits with the screen off. I checked the battery stats and saw Android OS at 21% usage followed by Cell Standby and Screen.
I am rooted at 5.0.1 but stock and encrypted. Only mods I have done is DPI at 493 and double tap to wake.
Anyone else experienced this before?
So I've been having that issue the past couple days too. I installed a program called BetterBatteryStats.
Yesterday I fired it up after having about half my battery drain in a matter of a few hours.
I saw that my deep sleep was about 3 hours, my awake was 8 or so hours but my screen on was only about 1 hour. Something was keeping my phone from sleeping.
I went threw and uninstalled everything I could think of that had either updated or been added since it started and now it seems to be sleeping again so I'd look at installed apps and updates.
