Hi, I have a problem with AOSP rom. WhatsApp doesn't work on 3G. I am not able to send and receive whatsapp messages. However, it works on touch wiz roms. I have doubled checked to ensure that there is 3G with the browser. I tested with 3 Roms: Carbon, Asylum and Super Nexus. Anyone have any idea what is wrong?

Which network are you using? Try changing the APN settings.
What do I change specifically?

Hello guys
Can someone please help fix the problem I have. When I'm on a call the other person hear an echo of his/her own voice. I never thought it was my phone but everyone is having this problem but my end as I can hear clear and no problem at all.
What can it be?

I thought it's just me. Well, I have same problem. No idea how to fix it.Actually I haven't tried anything yet.
There is a bug on Ported CM9 and up that still there. I tried straight CM10.2 and CM10.1 and the echo was gone. I tried every single Ported ROM for this devise and all have this problem including Pacman. At least I'm waiting on a response from codex to see if he can help giving us support here on xda or any other forum

Add this line in your build.prop to Enable Adaptive Multi-Rate Wideband which will improve quality voice on calls
ro.ril.enable.amr.wideband=1
That did the trick for me so far as I been working on this for 2 weeks with no results until now thanks to pimp my rom

No, that didn't help me. I did restart after changing that line but without results.
Did you do something else?

Thanks for reply but that didn't help me with that.
Rooted my atrix HD...I can make calls send texts and browse the web..but I can't send or receive picture messages..my APN is the same as my stock ROM...anyone having this issue or have a idea on how to solve it?

Go to your phone/settings/additional settings/my phone number... Enter your digits like this: 1234445555 (your area code and number) this worked for me.

Some custom ROMs do have issues with MMS. Try another ROM and see if the issue goes away.

Atrix HD MMS
Adblock was blocking send and download of mms messages. As soon as I turned that off, it started working again. Some custom roms may come with this app preloaded so make sure this is not breaking anything.
Whenever i recieve a call or dial a call, the call screen is blank just the battery and network icons,
I upgraded from 2.2 to 2.3.6 to 4.0.4 to 4.1.1 to 4.2.2

I suppose you are on 4.2.2 now, no? Have you tried installing another dialer app from the play store? If not, do so and let's see.

Dialer is completely fine mate, the call screen ( in which we disconnect the call, mute. ) i can't see this screen

When i text another user who also has this feature, there is about a 5 second delay from my keyboard responding to my commands. Is anyone else having these problems?

Another thing is the amount of messages per contact. That'll slow stock sms down too.

Still no improvement. Wiped cashe, wiped cashe partition. Still a lag. I do have a ton of SMS messages on this person, but was unaffected until this update.

What SMS app do u use? I use the stock s6 messaging app. Does any other one work with advanced messaging?

How do I get this to work at all? I'm stock and got the update and my friend with an s6 also got the update but it doesn't work for either of us.
I turned volte on and turned everything on in the messaging settings.

Stock. Usually use textra but I'm sure it won't work with it. Gonna keep trying it out see how well it works but so far no issues

I can't see anything either. Only difference is the send arrow turns orange when on WiFi calling or connected to lte I suppose.
I text my friend who just updated as well and we can't see anything about read or typing.
Yes that's kinda odd what the hell it's advanced it's nothing changed any one have any luck with update??

It definitely changed, it works for me. Both devices must be on either lte or WiFi for it to work

After updating to Marshmallow, there seems to be an issue with Google Messenger.
I figured the settings for it come and go depending on the apn settings, but then i keep changing them, and the group option does not return.
Any ideas? messenger is one of the few sms apps that does not slow down when i have more than 20 thousand SMSs...
