I've been looking at the Sony Xperia Z1 for a long time and it looks like a terrific phone. Looking forward to rooting one and playing with the terrific camera.
But which one works on T-Mobile USA for 4G LTE? I know that the C6902 isn't LTE so that's out. When I look at the rest of the Z1 models I see:
C6906 supports 4G LTE under 700/850/ 900 / 1700 / 1900 / 2100 /2600 Mhz
C6903 supports 4G LTE for 800 / 850 / 900 / 1700 / 1800 / 1900 / 2100 / 2600 MHz
C6943 supports 4G LTE for 800 / 850 / 900 / 1700 /1800 / 1900 / 2100 / 2600 Mhz.
Since T-Mobile doesn't use 700MHz it appears that I can use any of these three for T-Mobile USA and still get 4G LTE capability, correct?
Also, can anyone tell me the difference between the C6903 and the C6943?
Thanks!
I have c6903 comfirmed have lte on tmobile.but not for att lte I think
you can wait for c6906 version can work both att and tmobile lte network that for sure

I have the C6903 and it works on T-Mobile LTE. Here is a screenshot: http://gyazo.com/afe496798070b6920e9ee34b5ae2d700
I'm also using the C6903 on T-Mobile and get LTE.
Great, thanks to all - now I know the C6903 will work for me!
Anyone know the difference between the C6903 and the C6943?
C6943 is the brazil version with digital television... Same as C6903 in all other respects...
The latest is that T-Mobile USA will be getting this phone, and the model is rumored to be Sony Xperia Z1S.
No information yet as to what the 'S' means or how it is different.

Correct me if I am wrong but after searching I think the below is what I know:
Xperia T : Work for Tmobile and AT&T 3G only..
Also known as Sony LT30p
General 2G Network GSM 850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900
3G Network HSDPA 850 / 900 / 1700 / 1900 / 2100
Xperia TL: work for 3G tmobile and 3G/LTE for AT&T?
as Sony LT30a.
General 2G Network GSM 850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900
HSDPA 850 / 1700 / 1900 / 2100 - LT30a
LTE 700 / 850 / 1700 / 1900 / 2100 - LT30a
Xperia TL: for AT&T phone and only E for tmobile?
Available as Sony Xperia TL LT30at (AT&T).
General 2G Network GSM 850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900
3G Network HSDPA 850 / 1900 / 2100 - LT30at
4G Network LTE 700 MHz Class 17 / 1700 / 2100 - LT30at
So the best phone would be TL30a > Because it will work with 3G tmobile and 3G/LTE for AT&T? Is this correct?
(My wife has Tmobile and I have AT&T so I want to buy a phoen can works for both just in case )
So i've seen this on a few sites now, model C6606 Xperia Z and these are the listed bands supported:
GSM 850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900
HSPA 850 / 900 / 1700 / 1900 / 2100 42 Mbps
LTE 700 / 850 / 900 / 1700 / 2100 / 2600 100 Mbps
If this is the case has ANYONE gotten this to work with AT&T in the U.S.? I've posted about this before and checked other posts but no one seems to give a yes or no it doesn't work.
i have C6902, if i flash a C6906 firmware, Is it converted my phone into C6906? in the sense "is that LTE will work here in Canada?"

I've been trying to do some research before I buy a Z1. It seems like the C6906 model is made for the US and will work with LTE at any US network. But what about the C6903? It's a little cheaper and it looks like it supports the same bands as T-Mobile, but would I run into any issues with the 03 model using data?
Thanks
Model C6906 support band 700mhz, C6903 do not support that band. The only problem which you can face with c6903 is that in some places you the connection will drop or you will not have it (LTE). C6903 will work without problems in US/CANADA but if you don't mind about that band then go for it.
LTE 800 / 850 / 900 / 1700 / 1800 / 1900 / 2100 / 2600 - C6903
LTE 700 / 850 / 900/ 1700 / 1900 / 2100 / 2600 - C6906

That's good to know. I'll drive around to see how often I actually use that band. I'm thinking I'll have to get the 06 though. Thanks.

No, the bands are built into the hardware so they can not be changed. The radio only enhances the bands that are present.
