Hello,
Since a few months I can't call anyone with my Lg Optimus 2x, I just get the message 'Mobile network not available'.
I have tried several sim cards.
Before I had this problem I reverted to stock ics using smartflash and I sent my o2x to a company to repair my screen (maybe they accidentally broke my antenna?) and maybe it had nothing to do with this? What I noticed is that the mobile network type is UNKNOWN:0 wich shouldn't be.
I'm using CM10 "Look Ma! No Hands!" Edition (by pengus77) with the kowalski kernel 125 (also by pengus77)
I'm on the ics bootloader (new bootloader)
I've tried other roms and the old bootloader but nothing works. I've also tried using other basebands. I also read that my efs may be deleted/corrupted/wring/not working and I don't know... If thats the problem, how do I fix that?
Screenshots, About phone -> Status (I know aeroplane modes is turned one but thats to save energy because I cant call anyone, ofcourse I turned this of while testing )

I hope anyone can help me and if you need more info, just ask me.
I can see that you are receiving signal, so there should be no problem with your antenna.
Just search the thread for Erase cal data, that should help.

can you do (or recieve) calls when the phone is pluggend with a cable? in my case a nearly dead battery caused serious issues... I had the same message, but my battery-state and the network state freezed... a new battery solved all the problems in my case. maybe you should test calling while loading. cheers mate!

I've tried to look for a solution in XDA but I haven't found any...
I'm using an italian ROM (T.I.R. 6.0) based on AT&T build.
I was using my phone without any problem, with full HSDPA signal everyday.
Today, after a call it stopped to get the HSDPA signal...
If I switch the 3G signal off from the CommManager it takes G signal and everything works well...
I don't really know what it can depend on...
I'm not the only one who is having this problem. Another italian guy with the original ROM has the same problem. So I think it depends on one software I've installed on my kaiser... but I don't really know why it started to have this problem now. I was only calling, and doing nothing more than this.
These are the software which are installed on my kaiser:

Can it depend on KaiserTweak??? I was reading about people having some problems related with it, but I'm not sure...
I had this problem another time in the past, and I solved it by reflashing the ROM.
Hope someone can help me.
Ciao!
Make a little search on the forum about 3G signal problems, and you'll find things like this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=335074
Some Kaisers (apparently quite a few according to the number of people asking about it every week...) have defective hardware, and the radio will fail with just those symptoms at some random point. Only cure is to send the device back for repair. Mine went through that too. Firstly the device won't work on 3G anymore, only EDGE, then eventually the radio will fail completely and not find any network anymore.
Of course it's not the only reason for 3G problems, but a frequent one... so what you'd want to do to find out if it's your case is the following:
Try a hard reset, as you say you already solved the problem once it might be enough and would mean your hardware is OK, then if it's no help maybe try a different ROM, including radio version, if it still doesn't work you'll have no choice but sending your device back to service center.
And someone should make a sticky out of that too, it must be the 10th time I post it...
Thank u for ur answer. I swear, I had a look on the forum, but u can imagin between so many 3ds how difficult it can be to find something really interesting concerning this problem.
In the evening I'll have a look to the 3d u posted.
If there is someone who has some ideas on what is going on and has solved the problem without sending the ppc to HTC, please, help me!
Thanks again!
Hi all,
This is for my phone in my sig...........
I have noticed since yesterday that when I am outside my wireless router area, or if I disable my wi-fi, I don't get 3G or H icon on my statusbar up top. It used to show up before yesterday.
I checked my friend's bone stock G1 right beside mine, and he his picking up either 3G or H.
I try an app that uses data without wifi, and it doesn't connect.
I checked the "use only 2G", but it was already unchecked. I tried restoring the apn to default, I tried doing network operator search and selected "rogers"
Still nothing,
Anything else I could try?
Thanks
Heeter
I wiped all my caches, wiped and reinstalled the rom.
Still no go. No 3G or Edge.
Could it be that my 3G/Edge antenea is broken? Or something physically damaged on device?

have you checked your apn setting to make sure they are right for your carrier also have you tried a reboot?
Hi Yohshua,
Thanks for your response.
I have tried a lot or reboots.
I actually don't know what the right setting is for my carrier is?
I have always had it working , even after a fresh install, but not now.

This might help.
Here is list of World MCC / MNC codes.
Thanks BA,
Those settings are already preset into my device.
I really do think that my device is pooched and cannot work with 3G or H anymore.
Works fine with wifi.
Google Nexus S, here I come.
Heeter
maybe you can flash a stable ROM for G1,hope it can help you~~
Update:
Hey all, don't like reviving old threads, but I finally figured out what was wrong.
It was actually my sim card that was the problem. I went to a rogers store, picked up a new sim card and now it is working properly.
Thanks all
Heeter

LOL! Sound like Cingular >> AT&T changed over. Old SIM card not supported by the vendor.
Glad that you solved your problem.
So, I've been working in an area where the signal is very unstable.
Every once in a while the signal disappears, no network connection at all, fails if i try to manually pick a network.
That's happened in the past with other android phones, but usually setting Airplane mode off and then on would fix it.
With this phone the only way to get the network back is rebooting the phone. I must have rebooted it like 5 times today.
Has this happened to anyone else? I was hoping JB would fix it but it didn't.

Hi there,
I´m in an low signal situation too, at work in the office. The razr i is the first phone with very stable and good signal, compared to Galaxy S, S2, HTC One S and Galaxy Nexus. If I loose signal while walking, it is restored very fast as soon as I am closer to a window. So I think something is wrong with your device.
It happened again a few minutes ago:

This is what happens when I try to manually pick my network:

yes that hapen mee to. only solution reboot
Have you tried turning it off and on again Just kidding, you can try to do a factory reset from the recovery, maybe it helps. If not, I would try to get a new device, because this behavior is not ok.
What happens if you go outside or in an area where the signal is good? Do you get signal without rebooting?
Btw, with -71dB you should have a really good signal. At my workplace I have about -90dB with full bars and edge.
It's weird 'cause it's not actually low signal. Sometimes I have full bars but no internet, so it just keeps switching between E, H and H+. This happened with my iPhone in the same area. ****ty network.
If I stay at home where the network is usually ok I don't get this bug. Never happens at home.

Hello guys, i hope you can help me with my problem.
i had an accident and my screen of the mi9 got broken, after i replaced it i checked my settings and could not enabled Wifi or BT, it just freeze the site for 10-15 sec and after that its still disabled.
i opened it after that again checked all the cables and other connections but still no luck. Is it possible that the modules got broken? Can i replace them somehow?
Thx

probabily the ribbon for the wifi and bt antenna isn't connected.
you cant enable it via shortcuts in quick toggle or in settings or you cant find anything related to wifi or bluetooth?!
if you cant enable it via toggle maybe you need to factory reset the phone (i dont think is needed but is better to do that to despite major issues). if after factory reset the same issue presist then you can check the inside the phone and see if the ribbon is contected but, i doubt is that the problem tho.

if i try to toogle on it just disable it after 10 sec.
reseted the phone same problem, its like it cant find the module to enable it
i unplugged that both cables, one by one and still could not find out which one is for Wifi/BT

so, if the toggle turns off by itself most common issue is the software, so...try use MiFlash Tool and flash latest build for your phone...and after that make a factory reset again. that should fix it...
there is a service menu *#*#64663#*#* for the mi9 where you can test the WiFi and Bluetooth hardware and see if they are seen by the phone and working. If they work is a os problem if they don't is hardware
he is failing while Opening Bluetooth device or Wifi device, can wait hours and nothing happens
So it sounds like a hardware problem...you can try a reset as it was mention be other users but if that not works then is definitely hardware
Hello there!
I have a Xiaomi Redmi 4x device and a few days ago the WiFi started to act up.
I decided to take a look at the logs and this is what I've found:
pastebin.com/w6VXqCWA
I use HAVOC OS 3.0 Android 10 (Q)
The device seems to work in very close proximity of the router but as soon as I move, the connection drops.
(I tried to re-flash the stock ROM and other ROMs, but the problem won't go away)
Thanks in advance, have a great day!
My known someone gave me his 4x to troubleshoot same problem.
I also using same phone too.
At first I have exchanged all hardware between two devices to find its a hardware issue or not (noob)
After that I put back all module to respected phone.
I really don't know what happened... the wifi issues gone!! ?

Do you have any pictures, I wouldn't want to break my phone by messing up with the hardware when opening it up?
have you tried connecting to different wifi network?
while writing this comment latest havoc os build is 3.3 20200401, please try this build and see if you face this issue?
also see if other device connects to wifi correctly or not?
try turning off router for few seconds and start again and check if it works?

Hello thank you for your tips but I have tried complete wifi reboot, changing of wifi channel, connecting to a different network (same issue), others devices work fine; I tried multiple ROMs including stock firmware.
I'm starting to think the hardware is failing.

Currently I dont have any picture captured that time. But if you need, I can reopen my handset to share picture with you. you can also google to find motherboard picture of 4x.
I found a new perspective of the WiFi log but I don't quite make anything of it.
