I think it's ilegal, i mean this rom is not ilegal at all, only the xda rules said that you have to put the source code of that rom, but only LG have the source code of the rom

No it's not, you only need to post sources of the kernel since that's published under the GPL license. The ROM source can be kept closed.
Can u use iodak's stock kernel with this rom ?

I tried this ROM this morning. this ROM is simmilar to "the-not-available-anymore" Magic ROM. it contains pre istalled MoDaCo Plus Titanium Backup (I believe it's a paid app) and Solid Explorer with fully unlock features (also paid?) I dunno about patched Google Play yet.
can we nuke this thread now??
1 thing which is interesting for me - how they do 4x5 grid on main screen?
Any 1 know how to remowe this "+" from the corner? Becouse I thing worst thing in original launcher is 4x4 only

Miui camera apk
The original file doesn't have updater scrpt so added it
and tested it to work on foydor's FroYo AOSP(2.2.2_r1)
so can be flashed with clockworkmod
camera app is good with bigger view

I thinks is unuseful to create a lot of threads if you can put all data in just one.
Since they are NO custom roms (NO special features) there is no sense to create a thread to post 1 link.
There are like 30 different version of each sony ericsson build so imagine to create 30 threads for just one version of firmware.
Make your own index, user will apreciate to find all firwares on just one place.

This is a complete ROM, which includes the kernel.
the HDMI did not work for me after i installed it.
i did a wipe for data and dellvik. replace the kernel and installd the rom thro flashtool. any suggestions?

I tested yesterday the link that I found in the log files but it is protected by a password. Also their software extracts the files before flashing so you can retrieve them, but these are image files (. Img) and therefore must be flashed by fastboot.
They must be extracted to get one Zip flashable

It's too slow to upload it to a non-Chinese website for me.
Can you see a download button on the top of the website? Click on it ,that's OK
The download button is on the left of a QR code button.
Gave it a shot, installs and runs OK. Has some cool visual effects for menus. No other major obvious differences with CM. Still quite a few non-english apps and links even when selecting English as language. Seems like a good CM based option for Chinese/English bilingual users.

I recently flashed my Note from the stock ICS to CyanogenMod (I cheated and used the app). I have then updated to the latest nightly release and all is looking good, however, I am wondering if I am running the correct Kernel version, or if there is a better one that I should be using.
Also, where can I download a safe version of the Google Play Store apk?

Hi, yep that's great thanks. I just put that in there as an after thought, hadn't done a search I know newb sorry.
I was more concerned about the kernel question as I feel that's a little harder to search for when I am not entirely sure what I am looking for. When I initially rooted the phone I believe the "rooting" method I used installed a custom kernel, and then by the looks of it the cyanogen app has now updated it to a version they supply. Just wanted to know really, if this kernel is the best to be running on my N7000.

Yes, for rooting a custom kernel WITH recovery got installed for the rooting. If you flash an update for your CM Rom you will automatically get also a new kernel which should fits fine. Or do a search and you will find some nice alternatives, but be shure it' for your Rom!
