no wake up reminder

Hello,
sorry if it has been already discussed, but I have seen only topics about "sms wake up".
Is there a way how the screen can stay off during the calendar reminder (appointment, task notification)? I have tried Diamond Tweak and other apps, but I haven't seen such an option.

yeah, I was acctually also searching for this. The problem is quite similar to the one accidentally answering the call due to the touchscreen sensitivity.
If anyone has a solution for this (maybe a registry hack?), please post.

i am facing similar issue on my diamond with you.
And I think, THIS IS A BIG ISSUE. It drains my battery a lot if i didnt hear my reminder's ring.
Does anyone have solution for this ?

I assume everybody suffers from the phenomena mentioned in this thread and I wonder why no solution has been proposed to solve this.

i think... because no one cares ? i wonder why didn't diamond's experts try to figure this problem out ?

I'd be interested in the solution as well.

Have you guys tried installing s2u2? Its like a sliding unlocker program like the iphone and it shuts down the screen and locks the screen on its own.....evn when a reminder is on. I've tried this on my touch and it works for me. The phone will wake up....sound the alarm for like 5 mins and then the screen shuts down....and the phone's locked again.

The phone should stay off, as can be done with new SMS notifications. Is there really no way?

I have the same freaking issue! It looks like a simple to solve problem, but i can't find anything! The sms notification hack works perfectly, there has to be someone who can find something! Please somebody with PPC knowledge take a look!

It seems so simple. I've searched a lot but cannot find anything. Isn't there a registry entry which allows processes to wakeup the phone or something?

Screen Timeout resets to 30 seconds

Why does my N1 keep reseting the screen timeout back to 30 seconds? I am running stock and don't have any software (that I know of) that changes configuration. It is most frustrating!

So, nobody knows the answer?

Please help - this is driving me nuts! Is anyone else having this problem?
I have uninstalled 'Locale' and every app that looks suspicious....

Anyway - just tried changing my setting and it works fine so sorry I cant help you out. Am on stock too (2.2).

Ringtone not working

Hi people,
Seem to have a strange problem with the phone(I9000 8 gb)
Am on stock XXJVO without root and am experiencing a strange problem
Whenever anyone calls me,the phone doesn't ring AT ALL
Only vibrates whether profile is silent or general
Was flashed long ago

Any app that you recently installed which you may think might be causing any kind of conflict with ringtones? Going over the obvious, have you gone through the audio settings and ensured a ringtone is actually selected? Because I've seen this being reset on quite a few custom ROMs...

all volumes on FULL, ringtone selected
I was using flip4silence but i have uninstalled it since the problem started

All stocks ringtones work fine, just any MP3 I set

I have the same problem with .mp3 ringtones & if I set an .mp3 for SMS notifications. They work for about 24 hours if I reboot my SGS, then stop working.
Re-install of current ROM (Darky's v9.5) makes no difference to this problem

sorry, i'm still having the same issue, there is a newer firmware out now, so may upgrade and see if this resolves the issue.

No, but as i guess , the problem connected with apps which want to connect to internet, because I turn off internet connection on my phone..
i have other problem with mic, when someone call me their hear me after 2-3 seconds. As I found out, this problem is very spread, but no solution is suggested.

Haven't u updated to 2.3.6? It may solve your voice issues.
Can you figure out apps running in the background that make screen turn on/off?

I installed 2.3.7, but no change, Yes I found that app- it is compass.

Check the settings of that compass whether screen is on/off? Are you using stock or CM ROM? Check also the display settings.

Try lowering your display brightness...that worked for me.

I use CM 7.2, and uninstall that app and everything with display is ok, but mic problem still there is.

Phone freezes when I get a phone call and also when I play music. Is there anything I can do to fix this?

right now, i am on google stock rom. I also have faux installed as well has beats audio mod, other then that everything is the same.

I got the same issue, Phone got serious problems with Audio playback, also setting volume of speaker. Phone freezes when I call somebody and then select speaker? I tried different roms (Android Revolution and Maximus) and also different Firmwares.
Attached are screenshots of my phone status.
Really appreciate any help! Thanks in advance.
