Hi,
i'm on slimbean 4.3, everything was working fine, but 2 days ago i have the touchscreen that isn't responding on one line of the screen
it is not rom related since i have the same issue on recovery (i've made a full wipe and install the rom again but it didn't solve the problem)
can it be kernel related? hardware?
if hardware, is there any way to solve the issue without going to a service provider?
thank you in advance
Install a different Kernal try a stock version
As advised, try with another kernel.
However, it's a strange issue
I have the exact same issue as you, started a couple of weeks ago. Only found one other guy on the net who had the same issue. He fixed it by sending the phone back to htc which is what I'm planning on doing once I s-off my hboot 1.54

Can't figure out what I did wrong, can't figure out any solutions, when I dial "*#*#526#*#" it says "Invalid Connection or MMI Code Error" I even tried it with a "," (comma) at the end and I got the same results. I've flashed the Jmz v2 to try to fix it, no go, also flashed the older Kernel "JmzMyst_Kernel-07-23-13.zip" and the WiFi error still persists. The mobile data and everything else seems totally functional just no WiFi.
Any help would be much appreciated thanks,
PineSmokes
Edit:
I downloaded the original ROM 1.05 and installed it, the problem does not persist in the original ROM, leaving me to assume the problem is with the new Jmz v3 ROM. The WiFi in the Jmz v2 ROM still works. Is there something else alongside the ROM that I'm missing? The update is an All-In-One to my knowledge. That is all for the update, thanks for any help or confirmation that it is the new ROM

Incorrect the WiFi issue you're reffering to is for v2, this problem was also fixed a comment or two later. So no one has talked about any issues yet, seems like a huge issue and this is already the 3rd day? I'm posting because I don't know if anyone else is having the issue but I did replicate the issue on two of my HTC First devices.
V3 was to fix GPS but I think there was a problem but if you read it says he just flashed v2 back then flashed his GPS fix and had no issues also if you did the August update then the kernel could be the problem I had to flash the August RUU and now I can't s-off again if I flash the of kernel I get no WiFi and no OC.

Manualy add the APN to the phone - you may need to google the settings for your service provider
It's a simple job

i dont think it is APN related.. settings are the same for android 4.2 and 4.3...
I will try and report...
You're gonna break your phone as soon as you get s-off.
But for now, which ROM are you using? And why do you think APNs aren't the problem? My guess is that the ROM doesn't include them--I encountered that problem before. Have you tried another?

I took the APN manually this morning and in fact I think it works better now ...
I continued to test and you repeat.
Thank you to all:laugh:
Thanks again, all is good after 24 hours or use...

I've recently flashed Sensational Rom v4 and it was all normal, but today(no restart) it started rebooting everytime i tried to connect to data. I've read that it is because my cell radios and bootloader are of different version than what this Rom and i had to flash a RUU. But in the flashing the RUU guide it says if i have S-ON it cannot flash a lower version of hboot and mine is 1.31.0000(written in the bootloader) while the rom is 1.28.0000.
Is there a way to fix this ? Will i face the same problem with all the sense based roms(even a stock one)? Should i flash to 4.1.2 roms?
i have:Sensational rom v4 ,Prometheus kernel 678mhz, Indian CID
PS: i'm new to this
Thanks
Yeah. Try a cm10 based ROM.
Sent from my HTC Desire C using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
so the cm10 based roms won't make the phone reboot? the thing is data connection was working 1-2 days ago ,and i didn't reboot and no mods installed the phone and today it suddenly stopped working.
i'll try a 4.1.2 rom, but with my bad luck my phone has a great chance of being stuck to not having no access to the net...
Thanks
Since sense based ROMs are I think based on stock. So your problem might be fixed by flashing a 4.1.2 ROM.

after ~2 months the phone started restarting again when using data connection(3g)
any suggestions?
EDIT:looks like it was because of the SIM ,weird as another phone with that SIM connects to 3g without any problems
using:
minicm10
nope kernel 700mhz
Thanks

Guys I am having this weird problem on every LP sense based Rom...
I can't access xda app, 9gag app, download what's app media and a couple of other applications while being connected to my home WiFi and "some" other routers , I tried everything possible, factory reset flashing different LP Roma, resetting my WiFi , everything failed, flashed KK back everything went back normal...
I had asked this question on several threads ,but no One could answer :| this problem is facing a lot of htc users in my country after updating into LP, htc themselves still have no.answer for this, did anybody here faced this problem?

Hi, are you updating your Firmware along with the rom ? If their is no 7.x.yourVersion.x firmware to match your version, you have to have s-off to change your phone's CID / MID to use a International (7.xx.401.x) or Developer Edition firmware (7.xx.1540.x)

I dont think its firmware related thing, as my friends who have the official OTA on their m8's are having the same problem as well

My m8 and m7 both are on developer edition lollipop and I have no problems with wifi
Seems someone else mentioned it, but going into Settings/ Wifi / Advanced and unchecking Wifi optimization and turning off power saver seems to fix it

My m7 on "6.something" and the m8 has the latest firmware
I have a problem that my phone automatically reboots itself everytime my mobile data is on even when it's not overheated. My phone is using android 5.0.2 build number 10.6.A.0.454 (HK version), kernel 3.4.0-perf-g8fa3dae that comes with it, and it was rooted.
This problem only happens since I update to 4.4.4 or later versions. It never happened on 4.3 (originally installed on the phone).
Anyone got the same problem or any solution for this?
Did you try to wipe data/cache/dalvik?
did you try to fix permissions?
both with recovery

I am having the same problem, it's rebooting it self only and one thing i measured which is actually strange that while it is under charging then it does not reboot itself so what should be the problem??
Help me to sort out this ASAP.
I had also that issue recently. After so much rom flashing i decided to try to replace the battery and it worked. Just try to replace battery may be that wil also work for you guyz.
