Here are a couple of watchfaces I use. Usually I have Default Text watchface. I use Tasker to get message counts (recipes included in zip). Preview is from app which doesn't look as good as it does on the watch. Could probably use a prettier weather iconset (using default)

I want to check my email through the java app that gmail allows to download, but when you try to donwload it, it appears this error message:
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
And if i download the english version, i can download it, but its really small! Its impossible to read messages:
Ok. What program do you recommend to read gmail emails without using the pen? i prefer to use fingers on the screen. And i dont want any program that downloads the emails to the PDA, just check emails. Thanks
You can go in the menu to menu>open>parameters and uncheck "use small fonts" (don't know actual names for the menu and the option in english, since I use it in french).
Fonts will remain quite small, but usable as far as I'm concerned.
For the spanish version, I have no clue.
I use internet explorer to access my gmail account, and it works fine.
Opera won't work
Works with opera here ^^ (might be lucky ?)
I'm sure you're aware of this already, but just in case you haven't actually tried it...
The diamond's email setup handles gmail nicely. If you add a gmail account, it auto detects the settings, and it works in an imap style, so you just view the messages rather than downloading them off the server completely.

I succeed in downloading and installing the ENGLISH app at the address
http://gmail.com/app
but characters are WAY too small and zoom doesn't work
EDIT
solution http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=2426977&postcount=24 :
in a nutshell: double the values of HKCU\Software\JBlend\AMS_Font_Size, VM_Font_Size0, VM_Font_Size1, and VM_Font_Size2
well,
i can't find the jblend. And i'm looking at the right place.
i've got gmail installed (and working).
someone else has the same problem?

If you have upgraded you Mteor to Mobile 6 this is a must!
Some guy named Gregory put together a port of the HTC home screen that will run on any Windows Mobile 6 Smartphone. This is a very slick interface and even boasts a integrated Weather forecast (think fizzweather, but FREE!) and a “My People” section that gives you easy access to 8 contacts (unfortunately you can’t access the 8 contacts directly from the home screen).

I believe your smartphone must be application unlocked to install this theme.
To configure your Weather location: After installing go to Start > Weather and select your City/Country.
To configure your My People contact list: After installing go to Start > MyPeople and select your favorite 8 contacts.
UPDATE:
• The alarm icon is not tied to the default Windows Mobile Alarms (Start > Organizer > Alarms) application, but to some other application called “Clock & Alarms”.
• Go to: Start > Settings > Display > Home Screen and play around with different Color Schemes and Background images for a different look!
Download now!

I also had the problem initially but found the work around. Open IE and browse to a website...any website that initialises you 3G/GSM connection. Go back to the Weather, select your location and it should then say "Attempting to download data..." It should work then. Let me know if it doesnt.
Is there a chance of ripping off the clock & making it a separate programme as I don't need the rest of it?
unfortunately not. Like the post states, a guy named Gregory compiled the cab. Im just making it available to the folks at XDA. Sorry buddy!
I hate the touchdown widgets. I have taken the liberty and modified the apk for anyone that hates it as much as I do. All I have done so far was theme /edit the mail and calender widgets and I modified the text from black to white. They are transparent with smoke borders. Past due appointments will still show red. Be easy on me as this is my first android mod! Feedback is welcome as well!
All you need to do is install the trial version of touchdown located below and be sure to license it! If anyone wants to give me a quick rundown of MM i'd be happy to modify the install procedure. The apk is for android 2.0 devices.
Thanks!!

Hey thanks for doing these...
I tried the zip file on my Desire with Touchdown 6.2.0012 but I still get the nasty widgets from Touchdown...
Any idea why this would be? I used ROM Manager to flash the zip file.
Can you tell me which font you are using?

Do you know if there is any way to make simple counting widgets for Touchdown?
I'd really like to have three widgets that do this:
Email: shows unread email count. When tapping on the widget, it takes you to the email portions of TD.
Tasks: Shows unfinished tasks count. When tapping on the widget, it takes you to the task portion of TD.
Calendar: Shows the number of remaining appts. for today. When tapping on the widget, it takes you to the calendar portion of TD.
Hey, thanks for this stuff.

Mobile developer Jay Desai has created an online application that allows users to make their own Windows Phone 7 app and compile them, ready for submission to the Marketplace, without having to enter a single line of code.
Currently, the software is very basic and allows the user to change the background of the app, add RSS feeds, a Facebook page and to read Twitter updates. Desai has signalled his intentions to add YouTube, Flickr and other online services, positioning it as a very fast and effective way for a brand or a website to create an official Windows Phone 7 app for their users/readers.
To make sure users don’t use this tool and submit a rash of buggy applications, Desai has limited use of the application by placing a password on the service. Users must request access via his Twitter account to be able to use the tool.

Hah! Thanks mate
had a bit of a play with this earlier and it actually works quite well for a beta.
Would love to see the ability to return to a previous project and edit it, and some more customisation options, but hopefully that would come in the future.
Hey Xda-Devs!
Thanks for the interest in thirdlabs! I'm one of the co-founders for thirdlabs. I'd like to point out that we have the ability to display the following feed types:
Blog
Facebook
Twitter
Youtube
Flickr
You can also select different visual styles for each of these feeds when you make your app!
Now you don't need to contact Jay through his twitter feed anymore. Just sign up at our website and start making your app right away!
Login in
Enter your feed(s)
Choose your style(s)
Get your passcode
Download TryMyApp from WP7 Marketplace (It's free to try )
Enter your passcode and enjoy your app!

We're currently working on user edit-ability. You'll be able to pull up your previously created apps, add/remove feeds, reorder feeds and change visual styles.
If you have questions/suggestions/comments email us please!! info[at]thirdlabs[dot]com
Thanks!
Any more updates on this? I checked the site a while back but am at work and it's restricted access here so can't check it.
No nothing yet mate!
Hi everyone, been on XDA since i got my first Android (HTC Hero) and over time I have published a handful of android apps, mostly card games, however my new app is a utility I think the XDA community can really benefit from so I decided to make this post. Below is the market description and link. I’m charging $1.49 for it. Let me know what you think.

Widgets are no longer only for your homescreen!
Floating Widget lets you interact with any homescreen widget while you’re using any app on your device.
Ever wish you could:
- Control your local or streaming music without leaving your current app?
- Have a sports scoreboard up while using your e-book reader?
- View a data usage widget in real time while using the app you’re testing?
- Have a clock on the screen while playing a full screen game?
- View CPU usage while you’re interacting with an app?
- Have the a traffic indicator widget always up while commuting?
With Floating Widget, you can do all of these and more! Check the screenshots and embedded video for setup and examples.
This app is under active development and widgets were not designed for this, so instead of leaving a negative review because of bugs and glitches, please email me at [email protected] with any issues, concerns or questions.
Requires Eclair (2.1) and 4 special permissions:
SYSTEM_ALERT_WINDOW - to make the widget stay visible on the screen
READ_PHONE_STATE - to allow the widget to hide when a phone call comes in
VIBRATE - to signal that the widget is in move mode
CHECK_LICENSE - to validate purchases and prevent piracy

A few features I'm working on include resizing, saved profiles, and a tasker/locale plugin. Any other ideas I'm more then happy to hear.
I also have a video posted that demos it's setup and use http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cHGLIWi4-e0
